What can I say? When I want great food, great wine and amazing service, I usually come here! P. S. The best chicken wings in the world!!!
This is a lovely restaurant with very friendly staff and food that tastes like if was cooked by your mother. Strongly recommended
Normally have had good meals in the Larder but disappointed this time. Starter of crab meat was nice but main course of hake disappointing - hake wasn't the freshest - a bit grey looking and pretty bland. Presentation wasn't wonderful - green beans hidden under the hake on top of sweet potato mash so all a bit of a mush. We also ordered a side of broccoli which was fine, but it came sitting on a big mound of unasked-for and completely cold hummus which was very unpleasant - not sure why it was provided unless chef was just trying to get rid of it. Would still go back in the hope this was a once off, service was all good.
The Larder is always a great restaurant to visit. Plenty of very tasty food options and the staff are always great
We had a lovely meal at The Larder. It's on the edge of the Temple Bar district, so not quite as busy as in the heart of it,, which was nice. Both our starters and mains we're very good. We had the gnocchi and Jake as our mains. The staff was excellent. Highly recommend The Larder when in Dublin.
Outstanding service and food. The ambient music is louder than needed. As a result, people speak loudly to each othet, which only increases the overall noise level.
Amazing food, staff and atmosphere. We had the early bird and both the starter and main course were absolutely delicious. The staff are so helpful and nice, the restaurant itself has a great atmosphere and is in a great location.
Amazing food, amazing staff! Always happy to come back!! I love this place!
We had a wonderful evening. The food and service were excellent. Would definitely good back the next time we are in Dublin. The music choice was a little odd (top 40 from the 80s and 90s) but we found that in most restaurants in Dublin.
Once again a very pleasant experience to dine at The Larder. Rex
Everything was excellent but definitely will have the Jambalaya Balls starter again. Sicilian Nero D'avolo wine was fab too. Will be recommending to friends.
Great food & good value. Nice atmosphere. Comfortable space for a group.
Went to the Larder during the week with a friend and enjoyed it a lot. Great food, friendly staff and a nice atmosphere, would definitely go back.
Really good food, great value early bird and friendly service..will definitely be back
Ordered the blade of beef with mustard mash and it was spectacular 😍 I’ll definitely call in again when I’m in Dublin next!
A great dinner and service was lovely as always. Super value for money.
I love the intimate and relaxed feeling of The Larder. The lighting and ambient noise level were perfect, the food was delicious and the service was friendly and attentive. I'll be looking forward to going back very soon!
Fixed price menu had amazing choices and also great wine
Really enjoyed eating here on Saturday. Small venue but really nice. We had the window seat which was a real people watching experience!
Great restaurant in the heart of Temple Bar. We had the early bird menu as we were going to a show in Smock Alley Theatre which is a few minutes walk away. A good choice and so reasonably priced and the food was excellent as well as the service and welcome .
Always great food, served very quickly with friendly and efficient service in a nice atmosphere!
Drinks order taken one at a time as in waitress walked away before we could order a second!! The same happened for 3rd and 4th drink. The main waitress was however excellent and handled a complaint about one of the main courses very well. I wouldn’t recommend the lamb shank! The food standard was mixed. There were 4 of us, some really enjoyed their food, others not as much. Having said that, the atmosphere is really nice and the restaurant well laid out. Good city centre location.
Lovely food, great location and setting.
My first time there and I'll definitely be back. The staff was friendly and attentive at all times, the food was excellent. I had the duck and my husband ordered the supreme, both dishes were delicious and flavoursome.
I'd only suggest turning some background music on for the ambiance. Considering the dining room is quite small, you will inevitably be hearing other people's conversation.
Overall we had a great experience and we'll be back for sure.
I've been to this restaurant on a previous trip to Dublin and absolutely loved it so took my boyfriend on this trip for his birthday! The food is fab, the location is great and easy to find and service friendly!
On vacation in Dublin. Found The Larder online and made reservation hoping it would be good. I was wrong...it was GREAT!
Quality food and good value for money, nice setting - will return.
The jambalaya balls as an app are amazing!
One of our favorite restaurants in Dublin. Starter (crab and crayfish) was delicious- Also dessert (ladies of Seville) was great
Excellent and attentive staff. Food was tasty and well presented. We had a lovely relaxed evening
It’s a great place! Great food!
The whole experience was fantastic thanks!! It was raining and we were late. Luckily they were still able to squeeze us in. Everyone enjoyed their meal.
Great mix of food, drink, mood. 100% recommended!!
This really is one of the best Restaurants in Dublin. We shared the starter of Dublin Bay prawns, delicious. Then both of us went the Chef's Special, which was Sea Bream with stir fry vegetables and rice. Full of flavours, fish melt in the mouth, fantastic meal. Cheesboard to finish. Wine was excellent and everything about our night was fantastic.
Verjaardag van Oma gevierd. Heel gezellig.
Was expecting much more based on the reviews. Most dishes were blant (in particular the gnocchi) outdated somewhat
Wonderful! We enjoyed the food immensely. The service was fine. We would return again. The plum sauce on the duck was spectacular as was the chicken entree.
The Larder Restaurant & Brewhouse team was amazing - friendly, extremely helpful, informative, attentive and gave perfect table service. The food was fantastic - good variety, super fresh ingredients and best of all, yummy! Thanks Larder Restaurant & Brewhouse, we’ll be back.
Food was lovely & great value. Service was excellent, the staff were very friendly.
Nice meal with a cosy ambiance.. Would definitely recommend this to a friend
