Another fabulous evening at The Morris! The servers know the dishes -- engage them. The sommelier knows her wine -- need out with her. These folks really care about their product. What a treat!!! Best duck in town!
We had a wonderful dining experience and met new friends. The owner, Paul and our server, Jenna, were both amazing. We had the Mushroom Profiteroles, Cucumber with red pepper dip, to start, then a nice heirloom tomato watermelon salad and a smoked half a duck! It was a fun night with wonderful wines and made new friends. We highly recommend this restaurant to anyone but especially those who love wine and duck! YUMMY
This was our first trip to The Morris, and as usual for an initial visit we orderd entirely too much and walked away realizing we had just eaten too much. But what great fun....had the 1/2 duck platter (more than enough for 2 people) and started with a fantastic little gem salad with bacon and hazelnuts, along with a wonderful tomato and melon in gaspacho. And it is pretty difficult to avoid the desserts...we had A hot fudge sundae with stawberries and brittle, and a dish of great Almond ice cream.
Tartine bread (extra charge) was as perfect as always and wonderful butter to go with it.
We were there early so the noise level was very soft (great for old people like us). Wine list by the glass is very nice. The bar has a pretty limited number of liquors (1 vodka!) but took care of our needs.
We will be back and a little more careful of how much we order...maybe have some of the small starters or a plate of chacuterie along with a less rich main course.
A lot of their service is Heath, which is nice to see in a restaurant using Tartine bread (Tartine is one of their close neighbors.
The Morris was divine. Love the ambience, the food and the inventive cocktails! Love love loved it!!
This is my second visit and it was fabulous! The uni, duck hearts and crab porridge are not to be missed. Also you must try the donuts for dessert! Our waiter was awesome and the owner Paul is the best!
Fantastic menu and wine list. Excellent service. Smoked duck (1/2) was plenty for two.

The duck. Get the duck. Take home the leftovers. The broccoli in chili sauce was also excellent. And Tartine bread!
Owner/manager Paul Einbund's warm, congenial personality sets the tone for this popular restaurant with Asian and mediterranean inspired cuisine. Food is inventive and delicious. Recommend the fried pork rinds, little gem salad with bacon, charcuterie, smoked duck, beef brisket and uni toast. Some of his food can be quite spicy so if your timid in this department be sure to check with the server.
Paul is a professional sommelier and his reasonably priced wine list reflects his knowledge and taste.
Atmosphere is lively and the space intimate.
PS if you like Chartreuse, this restaurant is a must. Mr. Einbund is an expert and avid collector.
