Das Pams ist eines der besseren Steak-Häuser. Preislich sollte man etwa 100-150€ rechnen. Der Service möchte hoch hinaus, schafft es aber nicht an europäische Standards gleicher Preisklassen. Daher von mir eine mittlere Note.

Was one of my favorite places at one time but have not been in a few years. Service and atmosphere was good but our steaks were overcooked and tasteless. The lobster soup was cold. The wedge salad was great and martinis were some of the best I have had.

During our holiday visits to San Antonio our family enjoys The Palm. The kids insist on the tomahawk steak, never disappointing. We live the cozy feel of the restaurant. The staff is friendly and very accommodating.

I have always wanted to experience The Palm!!! And I can not believe I have waited 20 years to do so! My husband and I went to experience a low key, quiet Thanksgiving dinner and were blown away not only by the staff (Carlos in particular made our night by coming to the front door and sayigg N Goodbye to us BY NAME) but the food and even the other patrons. We will definitely be returning soon… there was not a single thing to criticize this place is just phenomenal!!!

We had made reservations for our visit to The Palm but were faced with a 45+ minute wait anyways. My feeling is that if you ask for a reservation to be guaranteed by credit card with the penalty of being charged $50 per person if a no show or if canceled within 2 days of the reservation that the table should be ready for us when we arrive. The food and the service was impeccable, as always.

Our server was amazing, very friendly and professional. The reason for the bad rating for our evening was that two of our four meals had to be sent back to the kitchen twice to be redone but these two filet steaks were still not served medium rare as ordered, both were well done - Twice! The ribeye steak was perfectly cooked medium rare the first time, however, and reportedly was delicious. The olive seasoning on the salmon was a bit overwhelming so was scraped off to the side, but other than that it was served as ordered. The Gigi salads, Shrimp and Carpaccio were excellent. Thus, we may come in for drinks and hors devours but never a full meal again, nor could we recommend The Palm to our friends. We did appreciate the removal of the two steaks from our bill, but two people left hungry.

Prime rib was the special (not very special), tasted reheated served Luke warm to be generous, paired with a brown gelatinous substance ( I suppose they had no au jus available since was reheated). Looked nothing even remotely like the photos sent out announcing the special. Green beans good, Gigi good, other guest had chicken parm (always good), but noticed serving sizes has shrunk like a fine silk shirt in hot water.

Service at bar was slow. Bartender didn't know menu. Wouldn't have ordered side of Mushrooms if I was told my lamb chops came with pasta/mushrooms. It also was served with green beans which she didn't know.

My wife and I dined there 2 nights in a row because we were attending concerts both nights. Hands down it is one of the best experiences we have had, staff was friendly and attentive, service and food was first class.

Our server was amazing! From suggestions to her serving the bacon Mac and cheese to the table. Seldom have I seen this type of service. My compliments to the staff. Food was amazing and cooked well.

We love the Palm. We have come here since 2009 and spent thousands of dollars at this restaurant chain. Our last visit was sub-par in the entree area. Our salad was excellent as well as the potatoes. Both were amazing! My filet was tough and hard to chew. It was just a bad steak. It was replaced and it was better but not first-rate. The sea bass was fishy tasting. It was replaced, but only slightly better. The waiter and manager were wonderful in trying to fix the entrees. They gave us a perfect booth as well. Some thought needs to spent on reviewing the quality of the meat supplier. We have loved coming to the Palm for fourteen years, but we might seek out other options when in San Antonio. When you spend top dollar on a meal you expect top quality entrees. This area needs to improve and we’ll return. This was a hard review for me to write because I love the Palm.

The Wagyu filet was perfectly cooked and tender with lots of flavor and marbling. The bread bowl was a nice mix of cheese rolls, pretzel rolls, etc. My wife’s Wagyu lasagna was very tasty as well. Amy our server is always great, with great food ideas and wine pairings.

Our server was great. She was managing multiple tables but kept up with us. Ahi tuna tartar was mediocre at best. The chicken parmigiana was way too much food and the side of pasta was not hot and pretty bland. Wine was served chilled as it should be. Took too long to bring bread service. Overall good but not great

The Lasagna noodle on top was really dry (and hard) with no sauce. It made it difficult to eat. It was really the worse lasagna I’ve ever had at any restaurant. Also ordered the beef carpaccio and it was really salty. Maybe the capers with the beef combo made it salty. Not sure but also not good. In addition ordered the three cheese Au gratin potatoes were terrible. The potatoes we’re swimming in butter and no flavor. The steakhouse salad was great! Overall not what we expected from such a high end restaurant. Maybe it was just an off night but won’t be back anytime soon.

Definitely on the more expensive side, but they say you get what you pay for; Wow!! Food was phenomenal, their private Cabernet Saviguion, The Butchers Choice was outstanding, and the service was extremely attentive to everything you could want or need!!
