My ribeye was delicious! Cooked to medium with perfection. Green beans were literally cold, baked potato was steaming hot and very good. Our server was terrible! Drinks never refilled, she was not even trying to be nice, took 15 minutes to receive a box for my leftover steak. My husband ordered a salad and it took 45 minutes to come to the table after ordering. A friend with us ordered her steak med-well came about med-rare, asked to have it thrown back on the grill and came back exactly same way sent this first time. She could not eat her steak at all. Again the green beans were very cold. The venue is beautiful!

Second time visiting and I intentionally waited to try the establishment after they had been open for a little bit to work the kinks out for being a new restaurant. Both times there were menu items not available and it was early for dinner. Although it appeared well staffed, service was slow and bar drink’s extremely slow. It is my opinion priced a little high for the quality and type of food. Some of our items had good flavor but was cold . The Mac and Cheese, coke slaw and bbq pork egg rolls are good.

Best steak I've had in quite a long time. Place very busy but waitress did good job tending to the table. A bit too noisy for my tastes (large, open space that tends to echo sounds). Overall great food & will be returning in the future.

Food is good, service is great. We sat out on the patio, there were 2 fire pits lit but only at one end of the patio. Not on the end my party was on, so a little chilly. All in All, I'll be back.

Went over for birthday dinner. First time there and everyone was great. Wait staff was great but they must have been short but they did so good Food was great. It’s wonderful to have a great restaurant option in Hillsboro.

I have eaten at the Patriot numerous times , love the food , the atmosphere and ya gotta try those egg rolls for an appetizer, nice to have a restaurant like this in my home town .. love it

Had the starter with nachos and brisket and it was great. Main course was ok, had got the 10 ounce sirloin medium well but it was under cooked and bleeding, but I didn't mind, I thought I'd get some A1 sauce but it didn't need it, my other guest got a1 but it was in a little side container, wasn't much there. Daughter got the chicken and waffles and it was fantastic, just the right amount of sweet. Wife had a salad with grilled chicken, a couple pieces of her chicken might have been questionable if cooked throughout but she said it was still a good salad with comparable to other places. It was the towns Halloween party and streets lined with people, really enjoyable and fun. The prices seemed a bit steep but really not far off for other restaurants. Our waitress was short, didn't refill our drinks and never checked on us and right after the food was brought out she gave us the bill. She might have been a first time server but the place wasn't busy at all. Don't remember her name.

Great food,great drinks,and it’s an absolute beautiful place to eat,especially the balcony outside in the evening,great place for romantic dinner or for a meet up with good friends,definitely will be going back!

Had to reorder twice due to running out of food. Took 50 minutes to finally get our food. Our last selection was shrimp skewers and we got peel and eat shrimp on a plate. Hopefully their kitchen will get things turned around. It really is an impressive building.

We got an appetizer (pork egg rolls) and the smoker sampler dinner with 3 meats and two sides. For the price we got enough for dinner and lunch the next day. We will definitely visit again!

Ordered 3 different steaks, ribeye, filet and sirloin. All steaks were extremely dry with little flavor. Mac and cheese was very good. All other sides including appetizer (deviled eggs) were also not good. Service was not good as well. Orders were mis plated. Second beer never came before we were finished. With that being said, the waitress did remove it from bill and brought it out for me to enjoy before leaving. Waitress was kind, just not trained or lack of experience. We ordered multiple items that were out of stock: ribs, Caesar salad, green beans. I have high hopes they figure it out because it is a nice option to have in town! Note, there were only around 5-7 tables during our time around 5:45 on a Sunday.

Beautiful restaurant great service delicious food however I thought it was over priced which is a deal breaker for many at this time. If we return I think we will stick with appetizers which also looked tasty. Would recommend for a nice special dinner.

Our food was good and our server was very helpful. We had a reservation which allowed our party of 7 to be seated right away. They were already out of some menu items when we gave our order. From the time we ordered, it took 50 minutes to get our food. Some of the food was warm, not hot. We attribute some of this to the restaurant opening fairly recently and still working through all aspects of service and running the business. We do recommend this restaurant and plan to return.

Wonderful ambience, location and food was great. It took a little long to get our food for restaurant to be at about half capacity and they were out of Brisket. Other than that the food and service was great.

Had 5:15 reservations. No desert- left at 7:20. Asked if anything was not available. Told ribs were available. 30 minutes later, told no ribs, choose another entre. Salads arrived 45 minutes after ordering. Neighboring tables who came after us all had meals and bills delivered before us. We ordered Nachos with brisket, brisket, streak and mushroom burger. Food is great and reservations help, but the service is way, way too slow. Waitress (Caitlan) could not answer several questions and slow to clear us out at the end. Waited 15 minutes after asking for bill to get it. Need blinds on East windows. Again, the food was fantastic. Hate to keep complaining- but you asked for feedback.

Food taste was very good. Service & coordination needs a lot of work. Very nice setting although I think they would benefit from heaters on the outdoor patio. It’s a large space to not be able to use it in cooler weather. Would not recommend at this time. May try again next summer

Had a party of 6 adults and 2 toddlers- 8 total. We were there over 2 hours - 1.5 hours without food. Food was average- nothing special and not worth waiting over 2 hours for.

Beautiful restaurant. The food was not great. My husband got the wrong order of meat. Our friend ordered a ribeye and it was less than a 1/2 inch thick. The kids side order of Mac and cheese was 3x bigger than the adult portion served. The egg rolls were great and my brisket was decent. I do recommend every give them a try before deciding.

Took our family and everyone was satisfied. 6oz fillet cooked perfect, 2 Beef Brisket dinners really good,, grilled shrimp very good, spareribs very good but a little dry.

We got there at 5:15 and waited for over an 1 ½ for our food. There was several food items they were out of. Food and service were OK. They have a lot of work to do on both of them

The wait time to be seated with reservations and the wait time for food, we're beyond unacceptable. Hopefully they can get that fixed or this place will not be in business very long. Maybe hire someone with restaurant experience, to run the day to day operations. With that being said, the menu had great options and the food was delicious. Recommend the smoked bbq and smoked mac n cheese. The beer battered fish was excellent as well. Only other issue was the red wine was served COLD. We explained to the server that red wine is typically served at room temperature.

The service & food were very good. Upstairs speaker by window has a connection problem, it made a crackling noise the whole time we were there. It’d be nice to have a cocktail napkin or paper coaster for beverages. The table was fairly wet from the cups. The Mac & cheese was the best I’ve ever eaten! The French onion burger was wonderful! We look forward to trying some appetizers & a steak on our next visit.

We had 5:45pm reservations on Saturday and we were seated immediately, although we were told that they didn't have outside seating for a party of 6 in which there were a few tables that were bigger than our party??? It took over 15 minutes for a server to take our drinks and then took a while before we received our drinks. Then another while before she took our appetizer order and once we received our appetizer we decided to order another drink and place our food order, since this was all taking a while. After 10-15 minutes of taking our order (and she informed our table that they were out of hamburger, shrimp & grits and smoked lobster dip) she came back as someone lost our order so she took our order again. Again, after 10 minutes or so she came back to let us know that they no longer had 1/2 slab of ribs, in which at that point we had been there for 1 1/2 hours with only 1 appetizer and 1 round of drinks we decided to pay our bill and leave. However, once again we waited approx. another 10 minutes without any bill but left enough money on the table to cover our cost. This was absolutely the worse restaurant we have ever experienced. We were willing to understand that it was obviously understaffed (as the tables on each side of us never got cleaned up) but then to run out of food early in the evening; especially hamburger? But for nobody to acknowledge any of the tables that were patiently waiting, for an owner or manager to come talk to us and discuss the issues or to let us know that the service was going to be slow, or to even offer us anything to come back at another time for better service, and food? We always love to stay local and support new businesses, however this was definitely poorly ran and I do hope that they can get this all figured out, but at this time, I would not recommend this business to anyone.
