For over two decades, Antrim 1844's Smokehouse Restaurant has maintained its legacy as a culinary destination with exquisite ingredient-driven cuisine. Enhanced by the skillful techniques of our executive chef, the menu highlights the finest and freshest ingredients through a sophisticated interpretation of contemporary American cuisine to the delight of novice epicureans and gourmands alike.

The safety and comfort of our guests is our primary concern as we navigate thought COVID-19. In addition to spacing tables for social distancing, we are following the CDC guidelines to ensure we continue to provide superior cleanliness standards. Additionally, we have been recognized as a Select Registry Select Safe property as a result of the initiatives we are taking for our guests and Antrim 1844 and Smokehouse Restaurant family.

We have limited outdoor seating available, upon request and based on availability.

    it was wonderful...out second time there. There was a wedding (outdoor!) Not sure who plans that in Nivember. We were not able to fully enjoy our pre dinner cocktsil abd appetizers in the parlor because that area was about to be overrun ny the wedding reception. The setting is exquisite and the service is second to none.

    The atmosphere is wonderful. However, was disappointed in the pre-selected menu for the evening. Did not realize that this was going to happen and there was little on the meal presented that I or my wife would have ordered off of a menu. That, coupled with the price of the meal, put a damper on our anniversary getaway.

    Ate dinner here for our anniversary and stayed at Antrim and at breakfast here as part of our stay. Ambiance was great - we were greeted and served cocktails and appetizers outside by the Rose Garden and then escorted to our seat for dinner. Some nice options for the 6-course dinner, but my steak was cooked rare when I asked for medium. The Smokehouse tends to overpepper most entrees. Service was excellent and the restaurant decor is lovely. For breakfast - would like to see more options as they advertise a “country breakfast” but really just offer eggs with some alternate choices. The yogurt and berries was a nice size and quite good.

    We had a fabulous 6 course meal! I really enjoyed starting the meal with the hors d’hoeuvres and cocktails on the main floor of the mansion! Then into the dining room for dinner - so nice!!

    We were celebrating our anniversary and this was our first experience at The Smokehouse. It was a beautiful setting and from the time we walked in the door we we were given fantastic service. Our cocktails were delicious and the plate of canapés couldn’t have been any better. We were escorted to our table which was beautifully appointed as was the room. The personalized menu was a nice touch. Every bite of our meal was absolutely delicious. The chocolate “Happy Anniversary “ on our desert was the perfect ending We will definitely be back. We have been looking for a special occasion dining restaurant and we have found it.

    For the price we paid, I wasn't wowed by the food. Having the menu printed with my name was exciting, and the dessert with the "Happy Anniversary" chocolate was a fun touch, but I have had better meals at a fraction of the price. The room where we dined also had 4 other couples who were quite loud and our table placement made me feel like we were sticking out. Not as intimate as I had hoped it would be. One couple kept taking photos with their flash, and talking loudly about how often they stay at Antrim. I realize the staff had no control over what guests talk about and at what volume, but it would have been nice to have been a little more secluded from other diners.

    Smokehouse is one of my favorite restaurants for a regular dinner. Great drinks from the cozy bar and awesome ambiance. I'm glad they're doing the hors d'oeuvres before the meals again. A selection of three is offered and they're usually all very good! I very much liked that we each get our own plate now instead of the passed ones they used to do because we got missed sometimes. The piano player plays on the weekends or it's quiet during the week, depending on your preference. The fireplaces (in the bar and the restaurant) will be going when it gets cold out and that adds another nice ambiance to the place. Food is always good, service is good and it's just overall a very nice place for our date nights. I haven't had as good experience on their specials, like mothers day, breakfast included with a nights stay or wine meals, but regular dinner nights are still a go-to. I'll be back!

    My wife and I have been dining here at least once or twice a year for special events. Wow, the meal and service are great each time. As repeat and dedicated customers we must ask those who have not bern here to please do yourself a favor and visit. A great time.

    Have been for our anniversary before and went back this time again. ALWAYS delectable food and fantastic drinks. Greg took care of us from start to finish with legendary service and accompaniment. Ambience in the restaurant was absolutely surreal and serene. We are blessed to have such a magical location close to home.

    The dinner was absolutely a delicious and enjoyable experience. This was a wine based event and the dinner was centered around the wine, so this was an added benefit. We were all given a list of the wines served for future reference and I bought 2 bottles of a particular wine that we had that evening! We can't wait for the next dinner!
