The Stone Manor 101

Consistently great food. Great waitstaff. Good drinks. Diverse menu.
A great place! Excellent steak and salmon. Service and staff are always pleasant and professional. We come here quite often.
I had the Cabernet Sauvignon and my husband had an extra dirty martini and they were great. The food was good. I had the short ribs and my husband had the Osso Buco. The service lacked in the sense where you got the impression the waitstaff was there to do their jobs and not much more. I said "thank you" got no response. The hostess went around lighting candles. When she got to our table she didn't greet us or acknowledge our presence. We weren't busy talking, so it was a little awkward when she wouldn't look at us or just say hello. They weren't rude, just not very engaging.
Otherwise, if you just want good food and great drinks, you may want to give the place a try.
First time here, based on reviews expected so much more. Arrived early for our reservation, seated immediately. First choice of wine was out of stock. Service was initially okay, but then as the place filled up, it was more of a challenge. Entrees were okay. Swordfish was cooked perfectly but flavorless. Same for my date's salmon. Cooked as ordered but bland. Side of garlic mashed was literally mashed potatoes with a couple of sliced garlic cloves wedged into it. Since this was a first-time visit, I'll defer to other reviewers but this was not what I expected based on other reviews.
We go to Stone Manor often. My office has also hosted wonderful holiday parties there. The food is always excellent, the value is outstanding and Michael, the owner, most gracious.
Stone Manor 101 is great! The setting is warm and inviting and the food is delicious and uses the freshest ingredients. There were four of us. I had the mini filet which was a very nice size and cooked to perfection. Two other people had the salmon and were extremely satisfied. The fourth person had a club sandwich and was so happy with it! All of us loved the sides: garlic mash potato, mac and cheese, creamed spinach, maple glazed Brussel sprouts. The salmon came with julienne vegetables and was said to be delicious! Desserts were just as nice. Cannot fault Stone Manor 101, they deliver a top experience.
we love this restaurant... the food and service are very consistent.
this place is a huge endeavor - clearly great for any & many special events - the food was well prepared and nicly presented - we used a discount coupon thankfully as their pricing was on the high side - they hopefully should have a long run - the only problem is they're quite a schlepp from where we live in lower westchester - it is worth the investment of your time and money - go check them out
the food was excellent.
we got meatballs to start that I shared with my daughter. They were so soft and delicious. The sauce was great too. I ordered Skirt Steak well done. It was cooked perfect. It was still so tender, didn't even need the sauce I ordered with it. Mu husband got the prime rib. He loved it it was huge portion. Both of our meals came with 2 sides. So much food we took everything home. Would definitely come back again.
Food & drinks excellent. The place is immaculate-great ambience. Service & reception was not great. It took awhile to be seated and another long time before any service. Seems to be short staffed when there were only a few patrons in the place! But overall I liked the place and would go back again.
Nice and quiet during the day, good for conversations
Great place. Love it every time we go, from the service to the food, to the environment. Everything and everyone is wonderful
The raw seafood was excellent, so much so that I made it my main course, opting for a Caesar salad to start. The salad was enough for 2 and they served 2 halves to different people. The romaine was crisp, the anchovies a welcome ingredient and the dressing delish. The raw bar is by the piece, so I had 2 colossal shrimp, 1/4 pound lump crab meat, 3 blue point oysters and 2 clams - - all yummy. Others opted for salads or raw bar appetizers and a main was shared by the other couple. Everyone was happy. The dining room is large, but attractive, wood and stone, and few were present when we arrived on a Sat. night at 7:00pm. When we left at 8:45 the room was more full, but not crowded. The noise level was very comfortable without the loud din so common in other large restaurants. The parking lot was full to the brim due to a banquet in a separate room. No noise overflow and the valet made parking easy. The wine list was good and the cocktail selection adequate. We opted for dessert at home. Everyone thought the value was good, especially with the $60 Groupon we had purchased for $30. We will return.
As always food was fabulous and fresh. However disappointed in service. Of the five at our table, one order was wrong. WAited far too long for correct dish. Waitress made no effort to hurry the new meal and didn’t come back to table to check on our meals the entire time
So many great choices, and their flavoring is unique.
We arrived during the Happy Hour. Our two drinks each was less then $20, a real deal. There were 2 large parties going on at the same time. Very unusual for a Thursday night. Our service was still good. The food was good and the cost was reasonable. I would recommend it and would go back again.
Much better than Casa Rina. Large place with steaks, burgers, sandwiches, fish dishes. Overall I enjoyed my meal and would return.
food always good but service once again less than desirable
very disappointing when there is very few diners and you still cant find your waiter
and you have to wait so long for service
It was HVRW so a special price fixed menu was available. The petite filet mignon was excellent. Appetizers and dessert were very good.
Our steaks were cooked to perfection. our Caesar salads were excellent but if you don’t like anchovies ask them not to put them on the top. Fair priced. Would definitely go back again
the food was great and the waitress was great, but the rest of the staff was just OK
We've been here many times for all occasions. The food is great, service is exceptional, ambiance is romantic. It happens to be close to my house too. We will go many more times.
When your waitress’s phone is making text noises in her apron pocket while reciting the specials at the table... and then answers her cellphone while standing one table away... there is a service problem. Napkins smelled of cigarette smoke - as did most of the staff. Food was just ok.
We were surprised at the entire experience after reading other open table reviews. Odd.
Enjoyed it
Stone Manor has many excellent dishes. The best seafood bisque I ever had. You can get an excellent steak, or if you don't want to spend too much, they have excellent dishes for less. It's all good. Service is always friendly and professional.
I had a Local Flavor offer that drew me to Stone Manor. Valet parking only although we have not been before and went in through a separate entrance.
Food was great. Had a dozen oysters, lobster bisque, salmon for me, short ribs for her.
We love this restaurant and frequent ever since it opened. Its a great steakhouse as well as other options. Our favorite is the Porterhouse for two... priced below other restaurants and just as delicious.
We also had dinner there for Mothers Day with a prix fixed menu and it was outstanding.
We have only one suggestion....why does it take so long to get the food? Even when its not busy! Whats happening in the kitchen?
I say... Try it...you may just like it!
When no one asks to refill your glass of water even though it was empty mid-meal, when no one clears empty dishes for 10 minutes, that is the definition of poor service.
The ambiance is very nice pleasant for family group and intimate enough for a special party of two. The food is very good and reasonable. Staff is always pleasant and courteous. A good spot ~ thumbs up
Stone Manor was fantastic - great place! Food was delicious!
