Risotto sehr lecker.
Schade.
It was perfect! A super calm, warm January evening in one of the most beautiful spots in the world. Great drinks and dinner and our server was sweet, attentive and authentic.
Nice spot next to the bay. The special sea food stew is recommended
Gorgeous view- We got the Janis booth! I had no idea about it and I feel so lucky to have been seated there. I can’t wait to return!
Wonderful view of boats on the Bay and of San Francisco! Great fish meal!
The view alone was worth it. Next time I will order a Bloody Mary, they looked fantastic! I had a lobster roll which I would not recommend. The salad that came with it was good though. My friend had the sole and that looked delicious.
Surprisingly nice, cool old school and modern. :-)
Great experience. Food can be a bit better but the ambience is great. My wife and I enjoyed the overall experience.
This is probably the 6th or 7th time that I have gone there. As usual, I was able to reserve the seat of my choice one day ahead. The view is fantastic, although, yesterday, the bay was fogged over, so visibility was limited.
Our waiter was friendly and prompt. The scampi was okay, but could have used more flavor. In the pst, I have had the seafood linguini, which is better. A bit expensive considering that the flavor could be improved.
Great place for a date!
I had a great experience! Had a great view All was great. Thank you!
The food was great. The views are incomparable. Our server was very friendly. The manager however is awful. He read me the riot act because I gave my reservation to someone else. The place wasn't busy at all yet he felt the need to humiliate me. I will be contacting the owner.
Hadn’t been at the Trident for decades. It was a quiet weekday. We were there for a celebratory lunch. It was quiet and uncrowded. That was fine. Overall we had a fine lunch. My cup of chowder was just warm - certainly not hot. The petrale sole was dry on the edges as if it had been warming somewhere and it, too, was just barely warm. We loved the deviled eggs with crab. My husband loved the crab cakes and the shrimp wedge salad. We finished with real Buena Vista Irish coffees! Our server was attentive and didn’t rush us. We’ll return.
Small portions, big prices. Targeting tourists. Food was below average.
loved it beautiful patio and view
The view is exceptional and the “hippie” design and history is unique and special. Definitely a restaurant to experience. The food is good, but not great and the service the same, although finding enough help these days is a challenge and we take that into account.
I think they were a little off being that it was the day after Thanksgiving. The hostess was not there when we arrived and had to wait a bit. But I still love going there and will continue.
It was a really nice place by the waterfront
100 percent great! Surprise birthday dessert. Excellent service start to finish!
Do not recommend. We had a good expectation about having dinner at The Trident after following their social media posts. The location is amazing, one of the best views to SF that I have ever been but they lack with the menu. Poor menu and super over priced. You are paying for the view only but it is not worthy. All the dishes that we ordered were without any flavor and seasoning. Will not be back and do not recommend.
We had a lovely experience at your restaurant. The owner was there and was so personable! Our waiter, Raul, was as warm and personable and professional which made our dining experience so positive. My husband and I enjoyed the seafood brochette. It was perfectly cooked and the rice that came with it was very complementary. We loved our clam chowder and our shrimp Louie salad. We will definitely be back. It was a very special evening and we couldn’t have been happier with our dining choice!
We were disappointed :(
The ambiance on the deck is incredible! Beautiful vie and the heaters make it cozy.
Service and food was not up to par for how expensive it is.
Overall seafood was not fresh enough. Crab legs tasted old especially.
Our waiter was nice but had the tables outside while bar tending, so fleeting our plates and bringing food and drinks took a lot longer than it should’ve granted how empty it was.
Food was delicious and great views.
The Trident used to be one of my favorite restaurants in the area. Unfortunately, I had a horrible experience during my last visit. I ordered burata cheese as a starter. I thought they misunderstood my order since there was no burata cheese on the plate. The waiter came and told me to look under the tomatoes. Then I managed to see the cheese, it was looking like a butter layer under tomato. I wish I had a video of that plate.
Service was super slow in general and no one even offered to change my plate. No one even asked how we’re doing.
Good view . Food average. Good for tourists who come here for the view and experience.
We were able to be seated outdoors. The weather was nice and there were space heaters if needed. The clam chowder was amazing.
Nice and beautiful view
Great place with a perfect view. Highly recommend for a nice casual lunch
Ultimate old school marin dining experience
As usual, had an amazing experience there. The fish and chips are as good as they are in the UK and the tequila sunrises were great. Thank you to Rick and Lauren for everything. We will be back soon! Cheers!
Stone crab a bit tired. Everything else was great!
Beautiful views and quiet atmosphere- food and wine was very good.
Delish food, wonderful place!
Charged extra for van parking though…
View and ambiance are amazing. Food was okay. Would definitely come back.
Excelente servicio y la vista es increíble, la pasamos bien.
The view of Fleet Week from our outside table was fabulous! Service was great and food was delicious. Great date!!
We had a lovely early dinner at the Trident with a view of the Blue Angels practicing for Fleet Week. Great atmosphere, yummy food, and friendly staff.
Excellent dining experience! Got together with old friends for dinner and a great time was had by all❤️
Beautiful views, good food and attentive staff! We will be back!
We were able to sit outside - the view is just amazing! Service was friendly and relaxed, as we were in no rush, so we were able to enjoy ourselves fully. The Louie salad with crab was recommended by a table near us, and it did not disappoint. We also enjoyed the crab chowder. Overall, a memorable stop and we will return!
