It was an anniversary dinner and the pub did not disappoint. Beautiful being outdoors, service was friendly and professional. And my goodness have not been out in ages--so much fun!
The restaurant and staff has done a great job making everything feel safe. They’ve built a lovely new patio. There is a QR code on the table for you to scan so you don’t have to touch a menu.
Beautiful patio and seting. Food delicious and seasonal!
Lovely evening on the outside deck with delicious food and kind, attentive service.
Now with a fix prix menu, the Village Pub continues to provide outstanding dishes. Their locally sourced ingredients, and seasonal choices, are always well balanced, with great taste combinations, and delicate presentation. While I miss their a-la-carte, there is not a blemish in their current menu.
The sea bass entree was over the top.
Everyone said it was one of best dinners ever and this from people who have traveled extensively.
We really enjoyed our Anniversary dinner at The Village Pub. The new, outdoor patio adjacent to the Veranda was a lovely addition. The cuisine was delicious, and the outdoor dining service by masked staff was very professional. Thank you! Carol
Amazing service and even better food. Great place for a date/special occasion. Will come again.
This was my first dining experience since COVID, and the Village Pub nailed it! The staff was very professional and friendly in their masks, making sure that they were respecting cleanliness and physical distance. Service was outstanding, food fantastic, making it the perfect dining experience. I can't wait to go back!
Today was first day The Village Pub opened for indoor dining, and the dining room was reconfigured with less tables to abide by the social distancing rules - all the staff were wearing face masks, as were we. We got seated at a booth. Currently they offer a prefixe 3 course dinner for $75, with some options with adders like caviar. The chef sent out a delicious amuse bouche of gougeres that was so yummy, i could have eaten a dozen of them! While normally we look forward to in house made bread, we felt the bread tonight was not that fresh. Between my husband and I, we ordered 2 starters, the sweet corn mezzaluna with morel mushrooms, and the lime cured Spanish mackerel. Both were delicious, but I think I liked the mackerel better; a bit like deconstructed ceviche.
For entrées, one of the specials of the night was 2 week dry aged ribeye, which I picked, and my husband picked the dry aged duck breast. Yum! The ribeye was cooked perfectly to med rare, as was the duck. With a nice glass of Syrah, the dinner was perfect. Then of course, dessert of strawberry cheesecake and chocolate soufflé to top it off! So glad The Village Pub is open again- the service is always impeccable, and the food delicious!
The dining experience is perfect for a special celebration. From the moment we arrived to the unhurried professional server...the food was spectacular.
We had a great time, enjoyed the food. The new veranda is perfect during this quarantine time. Maybe just a few more umbrellas when it is hot and early in the evening.
This is a place to go for special occasions or when you feel like indulging in high quality food and ambiance.
Great fine dining on their newly built veranda. Wonderful ambience, delicious food, personable and knowledgeable waitstaff—amazing experience overall.
Everything was stellar! So happy you were able to open.
Great for date, special occasions, business and event.
We always have good time there with great steak and desserts with drinks
Excellent as usual!
This restaurant is a great place to go for a "VERY SPECIAL OCCASION". It's quite expensive but worth it. Delicious salads and entrees. Good wine selection. Friendly and well trained servers.
