The Wine Collective

This is the place to go for great tinned seafood. We got squid in ink, smoked sardines in olive oil, mussels in escabeche, and scallops in Galician sauce. They each come with bread that you can dip in the seafood. FYI, my bar for good tinned fish are Wild Planet smoked sardines, which, while decent, pale in comparison. Also, their Vermú Rosé (vermouth) is great. I can’t wait to go back and try out different wines and seafood.

We really enjoyed the wine and the house-brewed vermouth was outstanding. There were some weird issues with flickering lights, but overall an outstanding evening out. Service was outstanding.

Beautiful space, wonderful service, and amazing food & drinks. This place is an absolute gem. Covid protocols and social distancing measures were in place. The staff and owners all worked as a team, were super informative & super attentive. The food was excellent. The wine was wonderful. The vermouth was outstanding. Can’t wait to come back!

We visited for the first time and LOVED it! Wines are delicious (the Viognier and darker Rosé were favorites) and we loved that you can order flights. Heavy tapas led to a delicious dinner - my husband was a fan of the tinned fish side of the menu. Great atmosphere with safe COVID protocols in place including temperature checks and contact tracing. Can’t wait to go back!

Other then all the annoying Covid rules for masking, that the restaurant has to abide by in order to stay open, our experience was phenomenal.

I thought the wine was underwhelming and the place was just too dark. They didn't even have flights on their menu I had to ask the server about if they did them. They really tried to go for an private intimate experience and I wasn't ready for it. Also the food was terribly overpriced my friend got some chips and bravas sauce and it was legit LAYS potato chips with some hot sauce on top of it. We ended up sending it back because it was terrible and way overpriced for what we got.

Amazing experience. This was my second time here and even though with the pandemic restrictions, everything was perfect. The Service, the food, the ambiance, the wine. (The charcuterie board was phenomenal!)

Our servers Gaby and Claire were fantastic! I Will definitely come back.

PS: The only thing I will add, and I’m sure this is not their fault, but the bathrooms need Paper Towels.

Three of us went on a Thursday night, mostly to hear the band Ultrafaux (we are fans). We had a bottle of red wine that was quite good...but there were only two selections of reds. We had a cheese board - and all three cheeses tasted alike! The board came with a good number of small slices of crunchy bread, but they tasted a bit like they had been heated on a grill that still had residue from cooking hamburgers or something (although they don't do burgers here). Staff was friendly and helpful. There is a lot of room for dancing, and the Ultrafaux band provides great music for swing dancing (and some bossa novas).

This is a great place for date night and even every day dining. My girlfriend and I will be going back for sure.

Very nice place...fun vibe, large and open. Good COVID screening and spacing of tables if you sit indoors. The service was very good...since it was our first time, they explained the wines and the menu. You can taste their wines in a flight which worked well for us.
The food menu is a bit unusual, but everything we had was yummy and fresh. (We skipped the tinned fish.) Would recommend it and we will go back again soon.

We were excited to try The Wine Collective and to support a new local business. Unfortunately, our experience was not great. We were seated outside, but our waitress seemed to have forgotten we were there. After we placed our order, she brought back our wine and our cheese plate. We asked for napkins, small plates, and utensils for our cheese plate and were never given any. We had to use our hands to cut the meat and cheeses and had to go to the hostess to get napkins. We were planning to enjoy another glass of wine, but since our waitress didn't return we did not have the opportunity. For the price we paid for our cheese plate, we should have at least been given utensils, plates, and napkins. Hoping for better service if we return!

Very unique space....combination winery and restaurant. We shared the olives and meat and cheese plate which was excellent. Wines were good and service was very friendly. It’s a large open and airy venue which made us feel safe during Covid Times. There was live music the evening we went. Will definitely return.
