Amazing experience from top to bottom. Will come again!
Honestly, I booked the Wine Collective without really researching/looking it up, but I still had a great time with my friends. When we arrived, it was a little hard to find the location because the sign was covered by the cars parked in front, but it ended up being the last door. The inside is so beautiful--so much so, my friends and I joked about having a small party/wedding there (when the pandemic is officially done) and we made sure to record everything we enjoyed so we could go back! There were only two issues we faced: first, the spanish chips with aioli and hot sauce are literally just lays potato chips with very simple aioli and hot sauce and it tasted as bad as it looked so I ended up ordering the Salmon and Manchego cheese sandwich and THAT was sooooo delicious! Our second issue was our first server; she was dismissive, a little rude, and condescending; despite actively looking for her to re-order some things--including the great drinks they had--it felt like she went out of her way to ignore us. Seeing as we were her only black/brown table, our next best guess was that she didn't feeling comfortable with us. The server that took over (long wavy hair and an amazing attitude) was THE BEST! She constantly checked in on us, asked us if we wanted to order more drinks when she noticed our glasses were empty, and overall, she was just the nicest person we ever had the pleasure of meeting! Overall, the food (outside of the Angry Chips appetizer) was great (including their breads!!!!), the drinks were flavorful and just enough alcohol for a mid-day visit to the winery, and the beautiful setting was the cherry on top! Highly recommend!
Cool place to hang out with friends.
Not much on the food menu snd service a little slow
I found the wine collective on open table and because of the good reviews I decided to try it. It was even better than the reviews led me to believe! This is my new favorite place in Baltimore and it’s long past due that we have a place like this here. The owner, Felipe, talked to us during the evening and was so pleasant and informative. The wines were delicious and so was the food. The cheeseboard reminded me of my European travels. It was beautifully prepared and presented and tasted delicious. I was hesitant to even write this because I don’t want it to get so crowded that I can’t get a reservation.
Loved everything about it the best Pinor Gri ever
This is a wonderful addition to the Union Collective and the Baltimore scene. The appetizer toasts were mouth watering, and the cheese board fun and tasty. We will be returning frequently - so many goodies to try, and good wine besides.
The menu this time around was ok but not as great as last time. Overall the ambience and service was beautiful per usual.
The overall experience was great. We were a group and tried a wide variety of wines and small plates- all of which provided an enjoyable and conversation inspiring evening.
Last night my husband and I did our typical Friday date night at the Wine Collective. It was our first time and our experience was anything but typical. We enjoyed 2 wine flights, a delicious cheese/charcuterie/cured fish board, a mouth-watering salmon melt sandwich, and addictive smoked fish dip. Our dessert consisted of unique vermouth cocktails. We definitely will be back! It is conveniently located near a distillery and brewery as well.
One of the coolest places to go in all of Baltimore!
The food was delicious - flavorful and well-balanced. The small plates were not as small as we had anticipated; we had originally thought we would be ordering another course, but we found our initial order of several small plates to share, with a shared sandwich, was more than filling. The wine paired well with the distinctive flavors of the food. The wait staff was friendly, knowledgeable, and prompt. We loved dining in the midst of a working winery, with barrels and tanks seen from just about every vantage point. And the restaurant takes Covid protocols seriously — temperatures measured on entry, ample spacing of indoor tables (much greater than 6 feet apart), and staff and customers alike (except while eating and drinking) were mask-safe, among other things. All in all, a delightful experience. We will be back.
My husband and I absolutely love this place. Our server was super friendly and incredibly knowledgeable, the cocktails and wine were perfect, and the food complimented it all. A neighborhood staple for sure.
We had a great time.
Excellent food, with very good wine and a great atmosphere. What more could you want!
Love the wine collective! Great food, interesting (and good!) wine, will be back!
Everything was amazing! My boss suggested the Wine Collective, and we'll definitely be back!
This is the place to go for great tinned seafood. We got squid in ink, smoked sardines in olive oil, mussels in escabeche, and scallops in Galician sauce. They each come with bread that you can dip in the seafood. FYI, my bar for good tinned fish are Wild Planet smoked sardines, which, while decent, pale in comparison. Also, their Vermú Rosé (vermouth) is great. I can’t wait to go back and try out different wines and seafood.
Very nice ambience. Temperature was a little cold.
Great ambiance, great wine, great charcuterie boards, and amazing customer service.
Great service. Wine and food were excellent. Will be going back
Friendly staff. Very safe COVID protocol. Cocktails excellent. Wine excellent. Food yummy.
We really enjoyed the wine and the house-brewed vermouth was outstanding. There were some weird issues with flickering lights, but overall an outstanding evening out. Service was outstanding.
The Wine Collective never disappoints!!
Service, food, wine, such a great vibe for any night.
Beautiful space, wonderful service, and amazing food & drinks. This place is an absolute gem. Covid protocols and social distancing measures were in place. The staff and owners all worked as a team, were super informative & super attentive. The food was excellent. The wine was wonderful. The vermouth was outstanding. Can’t wait to come back!
Highly recommend a visit. Excellent in every way.
The food was great and the wine was really tasty! Definitely would recommend
Great ambience, and staff was very cognizant of covid safety. Food and wine were ah-maz-ing, and recommendations were on point!
JR and Claire made the dining experience memorable and we are well connected with a lot of people. We will definitely be sharing our experience in a positive way.
The staff was extremely knowledgeable about the food that would pair well with the wine. We got great suggestions for our waiter RJ!
We visited for the first time and LOVED it! Wines are delicious (the Viognier and darker Rosé were favorites) and we loved that you can order flights. Heavy tapas led to a delicious dinner - my husband was a fan of the tinned fish side of the menu. Great atmosphere with safe COVID protocols in place including temperature checks and contact tracing. Can’t wait to go back!
Other then all the annoying Covid rules for masking, that the restaurant has to abide by in order to stay open, our experience was phenomenal.
I thought the wine was underwhelming and the place was just too dark. They didn't even have flights on their menu I had to ask the server about if they did them. They really tried to go for an private intimate experience and I wasn't ready for it. Also the food was terribly overpriced my friend got some chips and bravas sauce and it was legit LAYS potato chips with some hot sauce on top of it. We ended up sending it back because it was terrible and way overpriced for what we got.
Amazing experience! Highly recommended. Great food, wine, & vibe
Amazing experience. This was my second time here and even though with the pandemic restrictions, everything was perfect. The Service, the food, the ambiance, the wine. (The charcuterie board was phenomenal!)
Our servers Gaby and Claire were fantastic! I Will definitely come back.
PS: The only thing I will add, and I’m sure this is not their fault, but the bathrooms need Paper Towels.
Good food, great vermouth. Octopus was delicious.
Three of us went on a Thursday night, mostly to hear the band Ultrafaux (we are fans). We had a bottle of red wine that was quite good...but there were only two selections of reds. We had a cheese board - and all three cheeses tasted alike! The board came with a good number of small slices of crunchy bread, but they tasted a bit like they had been heated on a grill that still had residue from cooking hamburgers or something (although they don't do burgers here). Staff was friendly and helpful. There is a lot of room for dancing, and the Ultrafaux band provides great music for swing dancing (and some bossa novas).
This is a great place for date night and even every day dining. My girlfriend and I will be going back for sure.
I cannot wait to go back! Sharing this hidden gem with everyone I know!!! The most perfect wonderful *tasty* evening.
Hipster cocktail vibes, delicious foods, knowledgeable employees, great wine. 10/10 recommend for a date night or small double date.
