Amazing, local gem in Fairfax. Great ambiance and warm feeling - not to mention great food and wine!

We enjoyed celebrating a birthday with The Sunday Brunch and bottomless mimosas. The food was wonderful, especially the crab cake eggs Benedict... yum!! The staff was amazing! 🥰

Food was excellent. Been here before and I don’t remember food being this hood before. Service was great too.

Wonderful dinner with friends on the patio. Food was amazing... we had short ribs and beef burgundy and our friends had cod and risotto. They were all large servings and delicious, as were the desserts! Service was great. So glad the patio had heaters since it was a chilly night!

Wine House is the best for an Anniversary or date night. Very safe and super friendly staff and owner! One of our favorite places!

We frequent Wine House on special occasions like birthdays and anniversaries or when special guest come visit. We believe this is one of the finest restaurants in the area. We love it and recommend it every chance we get.

Excellent as usual in all aspects. We were there for flight night and dinner. Enjoyed the flight and found a wine in the flight we enjoyed with our dinner.

Food was great; high quality! Also our server Theresa was great; she gave us personal attention instead of the regular words.

In town for 2 nights. Got carry out last night and dined in tonight. Our favorite whenever we visit our GMU student. I was on a diet this time, and the chef beautifully eliminated the beurre blanc and substituted the yummiest roasted veggies for the gnocchi. I didn’t miss a thing!

An absolutely fabulous evening. The service was spectacular. Our server was very knowledgeable and the perfect combination of attentiveness and smart recommendations. My date had one of the items off the main menu and the flavors were complex and delicious. I had the special which unfortunately fell a little short. But I would highly recommend!

The entire experience was wonderful. The service was the best that we have had in such a long time. The food was amazing and the wine selection was fun. We will definitely be coming back.

My husband and I ate outside and had 3 bowls each of mussels on Mussels Monday. Delicious, with 3 different preparations/sauces. Great bottle of wine reasonable priced. We will be returning on many Mondays in the future. The outside was comfortable and they are now figuring out how to do outside service in the winter. We won't eat inside, so this will be wonderful.

The Wine House has been a staple of Fairfax city for many many years. That alone says that it is a place that people return to. Their menu is solid with gourmet delights and entrées that rival the much more expensive DC dining spots.

Excellent service and attention to detail. The two newer preparations of mussels were outstanding. As always, the wine selection/prices were exceptional. One of my favorite place for good wine and good food.

The Winehouse is such a perfect restaurant ! The food is always outstanding! I have dined there many times ! The owner and staff are caring and accomodating! I highly recommend this restaurant !

Another great evening out on the patio eating good food, drinking good wine and great service. Food and service here have definitely improved from 3-4 years ago.

A wonderful lunch meeting with outside dining, great food and exquisite wine, and attentive service. Maybe I should not give as good of a review as this as this wonderful restaurant/wine bar may be fully booked the next time we want dine here.

Food is above average to good but service is always great.

We sat on the patio and had a wonderful brunch. All three dishes were excellent. The service was excellent as well. Highly recommend.

Colin was the absolute amazing waiter I've ever experienced in a time where the norm ceases to exist. As well the manager took her time to, all keeping social distancing, still, come personally to our table of two - the only ones left - and ensure everything was to our liking. We sort of struggled for words, as we were enjoying some of the most amazing food locally I've ever tasted. The hope in life returning to a semblance of normal may sound dumb when I say it was as easy as a side of aioli. But isn't that pretty great? Can't wait to return. So amazing.

We will only sit outside right now- hoping The Wine House will install outdoor heaters so we can continue to eat there outside.

We came for the flight of Chilean wine and tapas and both were very good. The tapas consisted of 4 pieces, muscles, shrimp, duck breast and beef filet. All were really good and each was paired with a Chilean wine, 2 whites and 2 reds. The wines were surprisingly good, especially the Pinot noire and the red blend. We spoke to both the wine maker and the restaurant owner. Both were friendly and informative about the wines. Very nice evening. Would highly recommend going for “flight night” or a dinner.

Great dinner and service. I like picking out my own bottle of wine to drink with dinner. The flat iron steak frites is awesome.

Michael and his crew continue to make this the hidden gem in NoVa dining. The food is terrific, and the wine list is extensive. By the glass or buy the bottle (see what I did there?) you won’t be disappointed by what the sommelier has curated!
