Three Tomatoes Trattoria
Linda was great! First time at the restaurant and my boyfriend and I really enjoyed everything! Thanks for offering gluten free pasta!!
Consistently excellent food. My last several visits, I’ve had the swordfish. Never had it better. Can’t wait until the next visit.
Lunch service was very slow, took over 30 mins for the first of our 11 orders to come out, then waited a good while for the next orders, and finally the salads and paninis came last, which was very puzzling to us and the panini was stone cold.
Yummy food, especially if you like garlic. They use a lot of garlic.
Food was awful. I asked for a pizza well done and it came out soggy and limp. There was also some butter spread over the crust making it have an awful aftertaste. The pasta dish was watery and bland. Ragu makes a better sauce.
Dependably delicious dinner for a family get together. Always a treat to sit down to a meal and a drink here.
We ordered salads and pizza. The salads were just 'OK' - too big with too much dressing and not enough of the main ingredients. The pizza was not particularly tasty - nothing of note that was wrong with them other than being too greasy, but maybe low quality of ingredients contributed to an odd taste. Everything was ridiculously salty. Was pounding water for hours afterwards.
Also they played the most terrible Musak ever. The decor is actually kind of interesting if not a total Buca di Beppo ripoff, but then play some Sinatra or something. It comes with the basic subscription on Sirius XM.....
Long time customer. Great food, great service and great prices.
We were seated per our reservation immediately upon arrival. The waitress was friendly, relaxed and knowledgeable. The food was delivered on time and was delicous. The cost was very reasonable. Overall a great experience.
We have been dining at 3 tomatoes for decades. It is always delightful. However our most recent experience was a disappointment. We had booked a 5pm reservation via open table. We arrived early and were seated in the pleasant back room, that was 75% empty when we arrived. We placed our drinks then dinner orders. The tables around us filled in quickly. They were also served quickly - before our meal was served. We replenished our drinks when the salad course arrived. By the time we were there well over an hour, we were repeatedly told our order would be coming. The other tables started emptying. We had tickets for a theater performance at 7pm and were afraid that, if or when our meal arrived we'd have to gulp it down. Finally the hostess, after claiming it was not our server's fault, offered to comp what we had eaten so we could make the curtain. That was gracious, but the goal was to enjoy the wonderful meal they always serve.
The outvtake /observation is that they over booked the room and the poor kitchen staff was swamped. Perhaps they don't know how to coordinate the reservations vs walk-ins. We will dine there again, of course, as they prepare wonderful food.
The only negative that I can think of is the glare from the red light if seated at the window. Other than that, very enjoyable. We will return!
Restaurant extremely busy! My calamari and my wife’s pizza were excellent. Our server Linda was excellent and knew exactly what we wanted. She came by many times to check on us. Robert the owner was seating people and came by to make sure everything was satisfactory. A great meal and a great night!!! If you never ate here give it a try! You will not be disappointed.
Love this place! Great food, roaring wood fire for a cold winter day and superior service when they’re not bombarded around the holidays! Sad to say when there’s multiple large parties it’s tough to get the smaller orders in and done. Looked like they on had 2 guys in the kitchen for a Wednesday and a full house of patrons with limited waitstaff. All in all I would return but just not around holiday time. Too many Christmas lunches
Went before concert with friends
Caprese salad excellent. Veal pasta special disappointing
Restaurant was extremely busy tonight but our orders came out promptly and cooked to perfection, as is our normal experience at Three Tomatoes.
The place we predictably packed and very noisy - I had to talk my dinner companion into staying. It would be good if you could do something to break up/muffle the sound in such a cavernous open room. The service was very good, especially given how busy it was, and the food was excellent.
Birthday celebration restaurant was busy as usual and crowded but good
Always happy to return to one of our favorites, this time with an out of town guest and friends. The food and atmosphere never disappoint, and Simone was friendly and attentive as always. Looking forward to our next visit!
My parents were in town from CT to check out the area they want to retire to. We wanted to check three Tomatoes Trattoria out on Saturday night but the opera house event had the place packed! We arrived Sunday night to a nice quiet restaurant. They accommodated the 4 of us plus my little guy in a high chair in a nice roomy booth. We were promptly greeted by our server Jamie who, from start to finish, went above and beyond to make sure we had the best experience. She was knowledgeable not only about menu items but gave us some useful info about the area too. The bartender Kristen made AMAZING drinks and the food was equally as tasty. We will be back the next time my parents come back to visit for sure! Thank you!
Some idiots at any adjoining table were dropping F bombs frequently. Our waitress asked them to stop, which they did.
It's unbelievable that restaurants and other public places need to remind guest to use appropriate language.
Service was attentive despite a full house. Our meal was excellent!
We went to Three Tomatoes to celebrate a family birthday. Everyone loved it and plans to go back. We had pizzas, pasta and wonderful desserts. The service was exceptionally good. I believe the server's name was Jayme ( probably the wrong spelling, but I know it was an unusual spelling).
Great food. Excellent service. Very accommodating plus a warm environment. I highly recommend the food and the wine and the experience in general.
Our waitress and our dinners were excellent. The restaurant was completely full with many customers who would be attending an evening concert at the Opera House so the staff was supremely busy and the place was loud. But even so, our evening was a delight. We'll be back.
Good food- nice folks- great location if you are going to the theater- make acreservation
Delicious Italian dinner! Salads were fresh and tasty, vegetarian pasta, bolognese, fish, and lamb meatballs all fantastic. Only downsides were that the vegetables accompanying the salmon could have been warmer, and the creme brûlée is denser and heavier than we prefer. Wonderful Italian wine, fresh bread and server attitude!
As always, great food and service! We have been dining at Three Tomatoes since they opened 30 years ago!
Food and service was very good. Would recommend this restaurant, there are many different choices on the menu.
Erin, our server, was attentive and gracious.
Food was very good quality.
It was a Friday night and quite crowded, but we were able to order and get our food in a reasonable amount of time.
I would go back, but not on a night when there is a show at the nearby Lebanon Opera House. They simply don't have enough staff to handle a crowd like that. Our waitress was fine, in fact she was better than fine. She was very good. She was just wildly overworked, with responsibility for a dozen tables. Nuts. Either they need to bring more staff in on show nights, or they should put up a sign letting people know that they will have to wait for service. The food was very good.
Big family. Good time
This is our favorite restaurant in New Hampshire. My wife had pizza and I had calamari. All were excellent. Place became very busy.
The service was chaotic because a crowd arrived all going to a show at the venue next door. At the same time. The food varied from good to very poor. It was 30 minutes until drinks arrived and two of our three entrees arrived but the third came 20 minutes later, and it had an off taste and was not eaten. Our waitress was very professional but we observed others around us that were not, slapping meals down loudly on tables, delivering food to the wrong tables, etc. We will not go there again.
this local spot is a wonderful place for a meal, for lunch, for a late pizza or before a show. don't overlook their house wines (in the "chicken") and thin crust wood oven pizza as well as all the excellent pasta.
We had a party of 8 for dinner before the concert. Our waitress did a great job juggling ours and many other tables so that we had an enjoyable experience and finished in plenty of time for the show! We were all pleased with our food and drinks.
Food was excellent, only surpassed by the service. Very attentive. Met expectations.
This is an old favorite (20+ years ago was the last time we went there!) and it remains as wonderful as it was back then.
Food was excellent. Service was very good. Variety of food was similarly very good. I "special ordered" Fruiti De Mar with Far Diavalo sauce extra on the side... it was a good batch! (its been a bit variable in the past. You should list that as an actual menu item
My favorite restaurant in the upper valley. Love the staff and the food.
Service was great tonight
