You will not experience Italian food like this anywhere else in the Bay Area. Superb! Giuseppe and Christine are delightful hosts.
This is my favorite Italian restaurant. Every dish we have ever ordered has been incredible from taste to presentation. The service is always impeccable and the owner is most gracious.
Wonderful service (exceptionally great server) so nice, friendly and personable. The bus person worked hard and very friendly too.
Food was delicious. Burrata, tomato and basil appetizer was fabulous! Presentation was impressive, too, with the drizzled olive oil and fresh olives.
We would definitely return if we visited the area again and would highly recommend this dining establishment.
Love this place. Just wish they’d mix up the specials a bit more
Our favorite Alameda restaurant. Never disappointed.
This is a fantastic restaurant. Perhaps the top restaurant in Alameda. Consistently good food, a good wine selection and a very friendly and entertaining owner.
We have been to Trabocco a couple of times and enjoyed it each time. The food is great and the workers do a great job at making you feel welcome.
This restaurant has always been a favorite of mine. The chef/owner Guiseppe is on site most every time I go there. He is very friendly and personable and always remembers who you are. The food is scrumptious. I had the steak salad with quinoa, avocado and raisons. The steak was cooked perfectly and very moist and tender. Our waiter was Marshall who was excellent and personable.
Delicious food, great service. Highly recommend.
Food and service good, wine prices a bit over the top.
My overall experience was good. I would recommend this place to friends.
We had our book club. We requested the front window table and it was provided for us. We make it a pizza and salad night with calamari appetizer. We had three beet salads split for the six of us. The salad was very good. We ordered three pizzas and beverages (beer, wine, and non alcoholic). The waiter was very attentive and it was a good meal, with great company, and great vibes. It was not the first time we had book club here and probably will not be the last.
Outstanding food and service. Seafood Stew was out of this world
Great food. Excellent, friendly service. Fairly loud and bustling dining area
Absolutely divine lunch, and many thanks to waiter Marshall who went the extra mile to make us happy. The unique baccala starter is a dinner item, but a request to the kitchen brought it out to us. We love baccala (aka bacalhau, dried salt cod) and this prep is unique to Trabocco and chef Naccarelli. The burrata/prosciutto starter is simple and perfect. Spouse asked if kitchen could do the gnocchi with the seafood Del Trabocco sauce. The light gnocchi absorb the luscious tomato seafood sauce; it's a great combo. Spouse was happy until he tried my oxtail ravioli - this was the best dish ever! Four large, delicate ravioli have a tasty shredded oxtail filling. The sauce is fresh chopped tomatoes, oxtail au jus, and a small touch of cream to smooth out the flavors. Panna cotta is very firm and a little sweet. The zabaglione is served cold here, just barely sweetened, and is the best dessert here. Trabocco remains our "A" list; it is one of the best restaurants in Alameda County.
Great place for a date or family dinner
Excellent as always!! I had delicious salmon - my go-to dish. I was with friends from Texas who ordered appetizers I had never tried before. They were also delicious. My friend's husband had a steak - and he thought it was amazing - great compliment coming from a Texan!
I was delighted with everything at Trabocco! The food and wine were excellent. The waiter, "Mystic Magenta", was delightful. My guests and I were very pleased, and will definitely be back!
And oh! That tiramisu!
This is the best restaurant in Alameda, hands down. Giuseppe, who is the owner and chef, always makes everyone feel welcome. The fish special is always good. I highly recommend the rotisserie chicken and pizza.
Delicious, authentic Italian food in a beautiful setting. Fresh fish beautifully prepared, wonderful house made pasta. Service is friendly and efficient without being intrusive. San Francisco style fine dining gem, hiding in plain sight in Alameda with plenty of parking.
Love love love this place! Always happy to come by. Staff are amazing, food is wonderful. Thanks for a good time, always!
Fantastic as usual!
Great date spot
The food was good, but far from excellent. The selection was minimal — leaving you to believe each dish would be extraordinary. But that is not the case. The service was horrible. Just horrible. The noise level is through the roof — you cannot have a conversation without having to heal across the table. They need to buffer the place with wall or ceiling treatment to absorb some of the noise. It was my sister’s birthday and the experience was not worth ever returning to this place.
Amazing time! Amazing food! 👌🏽
Great Italian in Alameda. Menu is upscale with a lot to choose from. Wine by the glass was a little pricey but not overboard. We had the margherita pizza which was good but the butternut squash anglnotti was the best I have tasted. Try it, you'll love it.
All of the above: everyday, date, special occasions and friends’ get together
It was all wonderful as usual!
Great food had the rabbit excellent. Service was very good.
Oscar our waiter was wonderful. So was the other gentleman that assisted. They were both wonderful and provided great Customer service. Food was great as usual. Ne and my friends have been their often for our birthdays. The head chef always personally bring out a complimentary birthday dessert on a large plate decorated with the words happy birthday in chocolate sauce. Very special.
Everyone from the reception the waiters provide
They all make you feel like
This is where you ought to be
We love this place
Per usual, fantastic margarita pizza, Imposter wine and beet salad! This is our go-to place for pizza!
Greatest restaurant in the East Bay. The Chef personally comes out and signs happy birthday to the birthday person. That’s an amazing testament to their service. I’ve had everything on their menu at least one. Love it here.
Don't let the fact that Trabocco is located in a shopping mall fool you. In fact it's a plus as parking is free and close by. The restaurant has both indoor and covered outdoor seating. The food is excellent and creative. Many items benefit from the wood burning oven. Seafood and pastas are their specialty but you can always find meats, pizzas even the occasional rabbit dish. Oh, and they have excellent cocktails.
The food was delicious and the service was fantastic! Great spot for a romantic date night.
Excellent ambiance. Excellent food. Excellent service. Excellent drinks. We celebrated a a birthday, and the chef came out to sing Happy Birthday, in an opera voice.
The food is excellent and very fresh, the staff is welcoming and the service is quick and efficient I enjoy dining in the patio area
Had a wonderful meal. The food was excellent. There was a great buzz about the place. The waiting staff were very attentive, friendly and cheerful.
Our server had just finished telling us what the specials are for the evening. The moment we started to order items off the regular menu, his demeanor COMPLETELY changed. In fact, when he came over with our bill, he did not even say thank you. We have dined at your restaurant many times and good service is what we expected.
