I have been telling everyone about this restaurant!
Open table was the one who referred us to this restaurant and was glad. We had a good brunch and enjoyed the ourselves. The only thing was they sat us in booth space that four other people were sitting. So we heard their whole conversations which did not interest us. After they had left we had enough time so enjoy our food.
Great food, wonderful service, and a fun atmosphere!
Tricycle has become our favorite restaurant in the neighborhood. The service is always great and you can't go wrong with anything on the menu. Great spot for any occasion.
The menu has many different options! The food was very good, however the service was only alright. The server didn’t ask how we wanted our burgers done, did not check on how everything was tasting, and didn’t offer us another drink, just simply the bill. Family friendly and neighborhood-feel which is nice.
Great food and family friendly. We love going for an early dinner
Great all around. Mushroom toast so good we ordered more. Would highly recommend!
We barely saw our server and after an hour left without ever getting our food. We asked for the check for our drinks and he never even brought that, thank god we had cash.
Had a very nice experience at Tricycle. Brittany was very nice and efficient. I had the pork shank and it was terrific (but I was feeling the garlic the next day!). The casado with chicken, and the Tricycle Burger were enjoyed by my friends. Nice and relaxed place.
Cute neighborhood gem. Great burgers.
A great addition to the neighborhood. Friendly, warm atmosphere, excellent service, exceptional food.
This was my second visit to tricycle and similar to last time the food was absolutely amazing. The tricycle burger is really great and the fries are to die for. The French 75 off the cocktail list was really good - pretty light and easy to drink but quite strong! It was very crowded and I’m glad we made a reservation. This place is great addition to the neighborhood!
Amazing food, great service. Atmosphere just ok but it's all about the food! The mushroom toast is to die for. The garlic shrimp flat bread, insane. The sweet potato flat bread, delicious! My other favorite is the cauliflower. A great place to come for a low-key but incredible food experience.
Dining Out For Life
Great neighborhood spot with outstanding food. Nothing too experimental, but everything was well -executed. I had the Steak Frites cooked perfectly to my medium rare temperature. Others in our party had the salmon which was also excellent. The service was fast and friendly but not overly cloying. Will definitely eat here again.
Food and drinks quality matched the paid.
Wait staff was attentive to our needs, and made some great suggestions.
Good food but loud ambiance.
A really comfortable, classic neighborhood bar & grill. Extremely welcoming and attentive service from the moment we entered. Tasty burger and fries. Cozy ambiance. A place you could sit and chat for hours over a beer. Or two. Definitely would come back to Tricycle.
The food is different and very good. However, the drinks seemed a little pricey to me, though maybe it's the neighborhood. As seems to be the case in many restaurants these days, you need to order salad and sides separately if you want something besides the main course. I don't think you can go wrong with anything on the menu.
Three women catching up over three bottles of wine (yes, three - yikes). We started out with some delicious appetizers (Pork Lollipops and Roasted Cauliflower), followed by Steak Frites and Sweet Corn Alfredo w/ Chicken followed by a scrumptious chocolate dessert. Don't judge - we needed to soak up the wine! Our server was wonderful, made great recommendations and was always smiling even though we probably stayed long past our welcome. I wish I could remember her name.
Follow up: I brought home some leftover steak and it was mysteriously gone in the morning (he did comment it was delicious and wanted to know when I was taking him).
Tried multiple different drinks that were all outstanding, The Gin and Juice was my favorite!
The pork lollipops were fall off the bone, chicken wings cooked to perfection.
Dinner was superb, ordered the crispy pork shank, and the steak frites. Our server was very helpful (it was our first time there) and friendly/welcoming. I will definitely be returning there!
I've really loved this place in the past. This past Sunday went for brunch for the first time and ordered the lox platter-was extremely disappointed with the amount of salmon. One thin slice on each bagel half that barely covered the surface.
Great neighborhood spot - they were slammed when we went in for our reservation and our server told us immediately, which we so appreciated. They were getting appetizers out super fast, which definitely helped, too. The staff was great and our meal was too. Super reasonable for a Friday night out.
Service was great; management, servers and bussers alike were friendly and helpful. Not to diminish service but the food was absolutely exceptional. Highlights were roasted cauliflower and sweet corn pasta dish, but everything was great. They are kid-friendly and there were several other families there with us in the early evening. It is walking distance from us but it is the sort of place we'd drive or take transit to go to again.
Amazing food and ambiance. Only complaint is that when the band started playing (who were FANTASTIC, she even sang in French!!!) the annoying blondes in the area yapped louder over talk over them. I would have preferred to hear the band more.
Such amazing food and great, attentive service! From the pork lollipops to the braised pork shank (and 1/2 price Tuesday wine bottles heyyy) it was a great neighborhood find. I’ll be back!
The food is absolutely amazing and great value.
Great neighborhood spot with attentive service. The food is delicious! Highly recommend the mushroom toast and the pork shank!
Amazing service and great good.. i had mentioned in my reservation that my husband and I are celebrating our wedding anniversary. When we were seated, we were su
Great neighborhood gem. Food was good and looked very kid friendly.
We were super excited about trying this spot but were quite disappointed. Food was below average, expensive and salty. Service was non-existent. We went on a week night so I can imagine a weekend would be worse. The only positives were the butternut squash flatbread and the ambience.
Met up with a friend on a weeknight. Very easy to have a conversation. Attentive staff and good food. Looking forward to going back.
I ordered 1/3 lb Tricycle burger how it comes made and it was really good. The tricycle sauce and fresh veggies on top were a great compliment. Maybe a bit overcooked, but I should have said I wanted the burger medium. I added an extra patty because it was "Fat Boy Sunday", so why not! We ordered the BLTA Flatbread (1/2 priced after 7 pm on Sundays!!) and it was phenomenal. All the food came out hot and the place was pretty packed. A couple of tv's and a bar to sit at if you are going solo or wanting to sit there with someone else to grab a couple nice draft foods and beer, but overall, very solid and I will be back.
By far our favorite restaurant in Bucktown. We’ve been here about 10 times since they opened. Everything on the menu is wonderful. Highly recommend the Shrimp and Grits or the Sweet Corn Alfredo (it’s not that sweet). Great beer, wine, and cocktail selection.
