The food was good, particularly the creative holiday appetizer menu. The service, however, was terrible. The bartender was overwhelmed and backlogged, and at first the waitress apologized but the staff then gave up and entirely skipped cocktail orders. Even table water was not refilled, so we sipped one glass each over the course of the meal. Other tables received beer and wine orders. Staff also forgot to bring out our son’s pizza and eventually realized it but served it cold (with apologies). They didn’t remove undelivered drinks from the bill until we asked. Maybe they were short-staffed that evening, but it was not a good customer experience. The staff seemed to spend lots of time entering orders into computers and perhaps had technical issues.

Food is very tasty but small portions, the salads are more like a side salad. Waitress forgot to put in our order and we have to find a manager after waiting for 45 minutes.

All good. We dined on a Thursday evening. Not too crowded. Friendly, knowledgeable waitress who carefully explained the menu. Enjoyed all our entrees and a Moscow Mule that was very tasty. Food arrived quickly; after presenting the bill the waitress encouraged us to linger. An overall very nice experience; will return.

While our server was good, the food took forever. Over one hour before food came. One last entree came when everyone else had finished theirs. We have been 3 times and this seems normal - that service is slow. Food is great though!

This is a decent option if you are trying to eat healthy. Some menu items are reasonable calorie wise. It just can be loud, and it's not very cozy. They could use more non-alcoholic beer choices imo

air conditioning too chilly for us music too loud portions are small for dinner - lasagna, spaghetti squash--seemed smaller than last time I had the lasagna butternut squash soup was excellent but too much rosemary garnish for me pizza was very good flourless chocolate cake was excellent -- highly recommend liked the mocha hazelnut latte We loved having a big booth!!! From service to food always impeccable! And let’s just say the squash pie with coconut whipped cream is like the bouquet flavors of fall….a must order and trust me you’ll want one this holiday for the entire family to enjoy!!!!

Service was no so good. . . . .rarely saw the waitress and no water was offered. Food was so, so. Unique, but so so. The turkey burgers were good though! The margarita was good - but mostly ice. The Carrot cake was good and I recommend it - a different twist. Overall experience was just OK. Spent $200 for 3 people - think other places are a better value.

Not what I’m use to. The food was burnt and the service was really slow. I love this location because the brunch is usually really good and so is the service. But my server was not as attentive as usual and the kitchen seemed to be off. Food was burnt had to send sandwich back. I hope that get it together.

First tried this restaurant in San Diego and was happy to find it here in Maryland. Food is perfectly portioned, prepared and served. It was also amazingly delicious. I can’t get enough of the edamame dumplings. Staff was very pleasant. Restaurant was beautiful and peaceful. Absolutely recommend.

Told server spice was an issue and chose grains bowl with "miso glazed sweet potato" -- doesn't sound like chili and menu made mention of heat (unlike the many others I did not choose). Server saw me dunking the chicken in my water to remove the spicy glaze and made no effort to either remedy or acknowledge the miscommunication. The solution was to bring me another glass of water. I could pick through some otherwise tasty parts, but I was put off by my experience and couldn't enjoy the otherwise interesting bowl. I thought the lights were too bright and the noise high.

THE best burger I’ve ever tasted ~ so moist and delicious with all its toppings: nice toasted multigrain roll. And though I’m not much on kale, the side salad was delish: tangy lemon, salty parm, snap of garlic. Prickly pear Tisane was refreshing. Alexis was a superior waitress. So grateful to have a restaurant truly dedicated to healthy, sustainable, delicious options. Kudos to the chef! First time at True Food ~ won’t be the last

Ordered the charred auliflower... do not miss out on this. The flavors are so eclectic ...very Ottolehgi. The guacamole needed a little salt to kick up the flavor but once added, another sharable nor to miss. Our server, James, was friendly, knowledgeable, and patient, as there were 3 of us who hadn't caught up in a while. I will visit True Kitchen again and again.

This was our first visit. We were excited to patronize. Our service was very poor. I ordered a mocktail, after 25 minutes, I asked our waitress if it might be coming - she truthfully responded that she forgot to put the order in. After another 25 minutes, it finally arrived to the table. It took roughly 50 minutes between ordering our meal and delivery to the table. Much to my surprise, although my plate was warm, the carrots and potatoes were borderline cold. After our food was delivered, it was nearly an hour before our waitress came by again to check on us. Luckily, I was in the restroom at this time and my family were very gracious with her - I would have requested the manager. The experience was so bad I cannot see a circumstance that would bring me back.

We’ve tried three times to give them a chance. Service and food has been very inconsistent. Well yesterday it was consistently mediocre. Started when I asked for an additional brunch menu for our table of six and was hesitantly given one but not. After the hostess stated that we should only give one per table?!? Placed order with one appetizer and six entrees (mostly eggs and sandwiches) Appetizer came with the entrees all after waiting over 45 minutes. Three of us ordered seasoned potatoes as sides and they came out wrinkled and chewy with honestly no seasoning at all. I believe I had six on my plate. You could not cut them with a knife. Avocado toast was soggy. My burger was good but I ordered the Peruvian burger. No onion or sauce as described on the menu. When I asked about the missing ingredients she said she didn’t know what is supposed to come on the burger but she could get me onion. When my mother asked for toast she said they dont sell toast. I asked if she could get the toast the Avocado toast was made on and she obliged. Ive been a member for over twenty years and always give an establishment a second chance, this was their third and last. It is unfortunate because I work very close to them and often take clients and colleagues out.
