Being off season this was the perfect place for 4 siblings to have a fine meal and catch up with each other. Our waiter provided excellent service throughout our dinner. We had 3 different entrees and the crab cake app all were excellent!
Food was excellent- lobster ravioli- service was fine, not noisy
We ate at Victory Point in Feb to celebrate my Mom's birthday. There were 9 of us and the staff was extremely accommodating. Our waitress was excellent. The food was wonderful and it was a perfect family celebration. I will return again frequently!
Food and staff excellent
My Wife and I dined at Victory Point on Valentines Day 2020. I made the right choice to go here. Amazing food, GREAT service. Our reservation was for 6 pm, walked in and sat right down. Our waitress was very attentive and on point for all of our needs. Very friendly place with nice background music was the perfect setting for our table at a window with a water view of as well as the Boston skyline. Well worth the money to go here for dinner. everything was cooked perfect and so delicious topped off by the chocolate lava cake. would highly recommend to anyone heading to Maria Bay for a night out. We will be back.
Wonderful service and food excellent looking forward to returning this summer to enjoy the view better
Dined on a Saturday night. Surprised how quiet it was. The view over the harbor is wonderful. I’m sure summertime dining would be much more crowded. Meals were excellent. Drinks were fabulous. The wait staff moved at the pace we wanted. We were not rushed. It was an excellent evening. Would absolutely return.
Loft brunch I would not go again. The French toast was undercooked and the eggs over East were over cooked. My bloody however was outstanding
This renovated restaurant under new ownership is great! Home made pasta, gorgeous views of the marina and Boston skyline. Visit in the winter months when it's quiet and peaceful
Fabulous views without the stuffiness of other high end restaurants. Casual and lovely!
Went for Thanksgiving. Very nice buffet, great service, lovely place.
We enjoyed our dinner at Victory Point. Winifeed our server was great! Very attentive and gave spot on recommendations. We will be back! Thank you.
Great service with Street Magic awesome entertainment
Best omelette I've ever had. All 5 of us were very happy with our brunch.
It wasn’t horrible, but I’ve had better food at chain restaurants.
We were looking for a bay side restaurant with good seafood and ambiance. This is exactly what we got at Victory Point. Our waitress was attentive and gave us great suggestions. Our food was cooked perfectly and the view we had while eating were gorgeous. Eating at Victory Point gave us a great experience on our vacation.
This is a gem of a place in a lovely location. Spectacular views, tables outside in warm days, brunch was excellent, the service was super. The best cup of real Italian coffee I've had in a long time. We will be back!
sitting outside was the best part - and the outside host was great! other than that not great - calamari was very bland even though we tried to doctor it up by adding lemon s&p, chicken dish was very dry. would not accommodate a special request but I can let that pass since it was a Sat night.
We were at Victory Point on 8/31/19 with 3 other friends. 3 out of the 4 of us ordered the clam chowder. It was watery and lukewarm.
2 of us ordered the Brodetto which is "Fresh Fish, Clams, Mussels, Scallops, Tomato Broth, Crostini" It arrived without the crostini. When we inquired, we were told that the recipe has changed and they are no longer offering the crostini. Really?? It's just a piece of toasted bread that is wonderful to sop up the tomato broth with. Seeing our disappointment, she arranged to bring 2 small pieces of bread for us.
Waitrress was disheveled looking. Wasn't a great experience and we will not be returning there. Much better places to get a higher quality of food and service. Not impressed.
Terrific location. It was a nice cool night, sunset was beautiful. Food and drinks superb. Very nice staff.
Will definitely be back!!!
Visited Victory Point with my wife and kids to celebrate my wife's birthday. Food was excellent. We sat outside on the boardwalk so the noise level was reflective of that environment - not sure what it's like inside yet bur we certainly will be returning to find out. This place is a great addition to the local food scene.
This was the old Fish Bones. While the interior was cleaned up a bit (not a lot), the menu changed some, but the same chef so the food is about the same...not great ... just okay. Service was very average. The floor plan is such that there is always noise. As more people enter the volume increases. It is on the water which is nice! The food is okay but not special but for the price & the overall quality it is a tad expensive. Siros is better, then Port 305 which are both on the same marina. Port 305 has TERRIBLE service which makes Fish Bones/Victory Point look good. Victory Point/Fish Bones is NOT dog friendly at all. Siro's & Port 305 (same owners for these two) are very dog friendly.
The food here is amazing. The staff is so accommodating. I highly recommend!!
Great view and friendly staff
The food was the worst food i have ever had. Most of it was not edible. We had to send it back. Chicken would have made you sick if you ate it. Antipasto appetizer came with 1 tiny slice of cheese and 3 olives, its advertised as a meat, cheese and olive board. The meats were hard as if they were old. We had to ask for more cheese considering it was $17, and the cheese they did bring out you could tell was old and had sat out because of the partial discoloration and the texture. The chicken was a rubbery, chewy, crunchy texture that looked raw on the inside, the prosciutto inside of it was grey. The salmon was incredibly fishy and awful, a packet of salmon from my cabinet would have tasted better. The manicotti shell the salmon was in was burned and crunchy. We ended up sick all night from the little bit of the food we actually ate. The worst part to all of this, the manager came to speak to us, she even told us she had the chicken meal a few weeks prior and she said the chicken was the same as how we had described it! Over all, dont waste your time or money here!
Food service drinks horrible will never go back!
Won't be back. The food was quite poor, especially considering the price point. I was in a party of three and each of our meals had problems. The seafood was very very salty (as if previously frozen) and virtually inedible. Vegetables were overcooked and soggy and beets clearly canned beets. We let our server know we were dissatisfied and the manager offered us a gift card to come back another time...No thanks!!
Delicious food, limited but excellent cocktail and beer selection, amazing harbor views (especially at sunset)
It’s been a good six months since dining here. Last night all 3 of us were very surprise! Veal parmigiana was very good, cooked just right. I also tried a piece of salmon from the other person’s plate, very good.
Poor service poor menu choice. Shrimp cocktail was warm. Chefs pasta was box pasta. Don’t waste your money going here.
Seated outside, the view was amazing. From beginning to end, the experience was one of the best in dining we've ever received. The server, Antonia, never had us waiting for anything, water glasses were always full, drinks were offered when cocktails were getting low and dishes were taken away without delay. The food was incredible, delicious and serving sizes were quite large from soup, to appetizers and entrée. My husband stated he thinks we've found a "special place for just the 2 of us to enjoy" a special date night.
The views are fantastic. The service was superb the food howeverv2as lacking in expectation. We ordered the house red and it was sublime, the chowder, which started us off, was delicious and hearty. The crabcakes felt and tasted disapointingly institutional. The tiramisu tasted a bit too pudding like as was the texture, and if there were ladyfingers present for body, they were well hidden. For the price point the investment value was skewed. The saving grace was a beautiful vista of a marina and a more than attentive waitstaff.
The food was bland. Didn’t enjoy it. Penne and bolognese was just not good. Pasta too al dente so undercooked and sauce had zero flavor. Meatballs were very tiny like a cocktail meatball and soft - no flavor or texture. Garden salad had 1 slice of cucumber, 1 half of a cherry tomato, too many onions and about 10 olives. I wouldn’t go back.
It took some time to be seated even with a reservation and it wasn’t super busy... then we sat for a good five minutes before anyone came to us... the waitress was nice... oysters were good.. calamari was ok.. could have been cooked more and presentation was dull.. three meals came out and fourth was a bit later... knowing one of the dishes would take longer.. the others shouldn’t have been cooked so quickly... food was decent.. nothing to WOW about... but fine. A decent place... nothing fantastic but ok
Food was terrible!
Food was good, but the service was slow and 3 out of the 4 meals ordered came out wrong. When something was said they were corrected immediately and without issue.
Food has gone down hill - too bad as I use to love this place when it was Fishbones
The food was really, really bad. Fried food I ordered was awful. It’s a great location, beautiful, but in the end the prices were very high for very bad food. We walked away angry that we wasted our night out spending so much money.
We had high hopes but were disappointed. We waiting an hour and a half for our oysters and cab cake for an appetizer. It was brought out only after us inquiring. Had to then again remind them that my toddler is still waiting for her food for almost 2 hours. No apologies no discounts for the long wait and inconvenience... won’t be returning for dinner.
Everything about this place is terrible. The food, the service, the value, even the ambiance (hard to mess that up given their proximity to the water). Yuck.
