The Drums of Heaven dish was one of the best I have had in years. The curries were less memorable, the sauces lacking oomph. The lamb was tough. The flatbread was excellent and the rice amazingly flavourful. A friend says we should have tried some of the street food on the menu. That's what I will do next time.

First time dining at their new location and it was a fantastic night out. Chic setting (well spaced for current COVID regulations) and attentive, friendly and knowledgeable team. Menu, as ever, doesn't disappoint and is absolutely exquisite.

Cannot fault any aspect of the evening and can't wait to go back soon.

Would definitely recommend it! Unique creative street Indian food. Great choices for vegan and vegetarian diets! Beautifully decorated, open kitchen, very gracious and professional service.
Only the arancini lacked a little flavor, the rest was just delicious.

Lovely spot. Good staff. Enjoyed most but vindaloo was over cooked. Will go back but might avoid that dish.

When we first got there and we informed there was only one glass of white wine available and a few things on the menu weren’t available we were not encouraged. Our thought was send someone to a liquor store for a couple of bottles to get through the night. BUT the food started arriving and it more than made up for the lack of white wine. Each dish was more delicious than the last, with such a variety of wonderful flavours. And the desserts were to die for. The service was amazing. We will definitely be returning and will also be recommending this excellent restaurant to our friends and family.

We were seated immediately and given our menus. We had previously specified that we were both vegans and the sous chef came to our table to let us know about what food options are vegan, what could be made vegan and what was absolutely not vegan.

We ordered;
Veggie galouti kabob. 9/10
Veggie dosa (its massive) 9.5/10
Pani puri shells (must-try) 9.5/10
Veggie khorma 9/10
Neelgiri mushroom curry 9.5/10

Service was absolutely phenomenal! Wait staff were consistent and never lingered around. She was definitely hustling and also made you feel comfortable.

It was quite marvelous to see how the food was made and the kitchen is overlooked by a high-top bar. Although seating wasn’t available (Covid)

Very good indian cuisine, spicy just enough.

First time visit and service was friendly. With Covid, difficult to create ambience but it is a warm space. All the food we tried was good although spicy for me even though I asked for mild near the end. Wine and beer selections need much improvement and would prefer Indian music in background vs. the radio. I would go back. If you are on Preston Street, give it a try!

The whole experience was delightful. Food was flavourful and different from standard Indian fare, open kitchen lent to the great ambience and service was excellent. Staff were very COVID aware, so there were not issues there. Will definitely return!

Terrible. Booked for a birthday dinner, open table took my reservation and even sent confirmation email a day before the reservation. When we reached (on time), the restaurant was closed and they did not answer our calls. What a way to spoil someone’s 40th bday dinner.
