Great city centre eaterie
Myself and two former work friends went for an afternoon midweek reunion meal. The Restaurant was quiet because of the time of our visit but we had a pleasant enjoyable couple of hours with excellent food and wine. The Service was excellent and friendly and we fully enjoyed our afternoon.
Enjoyed a very pleasant lunch. Nice Italian Food at reasonable prices. Not hurried at all. Pleased to see nice draft beers now in too.
Everything OK, we really liked the pizza with vegetable coal, was very cool.
Excellent authentic Italian food :)
And a great place for a romantic date
We are Italian living in Dublin and sometimes we need Italian restaurants! This is a true Italian restaurant, quality is good. We had pizza which was a good italian one and we will go again to try other dishes. Strongly recommended.
Staff is super nice and location is perfect.
The usual friendly attentive service, with delicious sounding dishes and reasonably priced wine
pizzas and pasta were very good, but main courses not: fish was overcooked, rabit was not great
Always a great night with lovely staff who are very efficient. And very pleasant. The starter meat board did not have a good meat selection. The slices had too much fatty bits. All else including wine was great.
It's quite overpriced for the quality they offer. We had the deep fried octopus as a starter and the batter was completely raw, the egg pappardelle were nice, but unsalted...not too bad, but not the best Italian restaurant in Dublin.
Outstanding pizza and service, ma quando rifate la sfera di cioccolato? 😋
Nice ambiance; very pleasant place to meet friends. Food was good albeit portions slightly 'noveau cuisine' (not my favourite). You might even spot the owner there too! Will be back.
The food was absolutely amazing. Great Gluten free options.
I would recommend Wallaces to a friend for the food and value however when we went there for lunch, our order mains order must have been mislaid as we had to wait 40mins for it, while others arriving after us received theirs, quite frustrating considering the food had to be then wolfed down to get back to work on time.
We had to send our mains back to be heated up and this was very disappointing. The food was really nice but its never nice to send food back to the kitchen. I wouldn't be comfortable recommending it to someone else on the basis of this. For a menu with a very italian feel, the food did not really live up to expectation, sorry
One of the best places in Dublin to get a really good pizza! There's a bit of a bustle to the place, so not somewhere you'd go for a quiet meal. I'd always recommend this place though.
Amazing place. I have tried most Italian restauranta in Dublin and this is by far the best.
