A one pound patty of the finest 100% certified Angus beef, fresh toasted brioche bun, bacon, Swiss cheese, onion strings, roasted sweet peppers, horseradish aioli and spicy sriracha ketchup. Served with our house cut fries

We ordered chopped salads. Half the ingredients were missing. Paid 8 extra dollars for cold, old chicken on top. Salads were $25 each.
This was the coldest meal we ever had. Waiter said they had heaters but no one ever brought them out to warm the poor people eating outside. We were celebrating our 45th anniversary and I indicated this on our reservation but we never received any wishes. Our waiter spent more time inside the restaurant than waiting on tables. We wanted a bottle of wine and we made a choice. Waiter dissapeared and returned with a report that they were out. He offered a taste of a replacement but that fell short so we chose another wine. Waiter dissapeared and return to report that they didn't have our second choice. We finally found a wine they actually had in stock.
Now down to the food. We had the brie appetizer which was ok. I noticed the kitchen likes using sweet drizzles and jams and candied nuts. For a brie dish, you only need a sweet compliment not a avalanche of sweet stuff. Our side of brussel sprouts again had way too much brown sugar. The stars of the whole meal were the steaks. Both were simply grilled and perfectly cooked. Whether we would return, its hard to say.
When we arrived there were no tables available. We were told that everyone who had reserved a table had shown up. All were just sat, so the wait was long. We canceled our reservation and left.
They only had one chef, so it took a while for the food, but it was all very delicious and so were the drinks. Once they get back up to speed after being open for outdoor dining again, I’m sure it will be wonderful again.

The ahi (presentation impressive) and crab cakes appetizers were excellent. We shared a creamy mushroom polenta w grapes that was above average. Creme brûlée and Sorbet were nice desserts to finish with. Our Waiter and staff provided excellent paced service and we were never out of water. We also weren’t charged a wine corkage on out 1st bottle. Very cool. Will definitely come back on our next special occasion outing.
The food has really gone downhill during the pandemic
Cheeseburger was still good but the ribs were completely burnt and barely edible
Was here to celebrate a birthday so they have you choose a dessert and bring it out with a candle but still charge you for it ..

It was the worst customer service. Will not recommend this restaurant to anyone. We were celebrating a friend’s birthday. We were a party of 5, out of which 4 had arrived and we were waiting on the birthday girl. But the wait staff refused to seat us until everyone was there. But initially they even refused to acknowledge us.
We ended up walking over to Opa and had a great evening.
I hope the management of this restaurant cares enough to get back to me.
Food was fantastic. There were at least 4 items that u ran out of on valentines night! When u know it’s gonna be busy they shouldn’t happen.
Have eaten here many times. No more:( Service was non existent practically (tables weren’t packed, but busy). 15 mins before asked for drink order. Red wine (by glass came and it was truly not drinkable) I explained I’m not one to return wine but this Pinot Noir is old .. waiter response was that it was opened this morning. No apologies.
Hubby and I both ordered steaks mine filet mignon and his ribeye. Both ordered medium rare. Mine was well done. Now I felt like that picky person sending steak back but anyone could see it was well done. 2nd steak came exactly the same after one bite... now manager comes and asks what’s the problem and I explain thus steak is also well done. She asks how I would like it and for third time I say medium rare... I kid you not only slightly better but not soft meat so I just couldn’t be bothered at this point.
How can a steak house get it wrong 3 times??? My hubby said his was def not medium rare either but he was hungry lol. Too bad the service AND the food was not good. Moving on.. Willard :)
Our food didn't come out together, one of our steaks had hair... We got our meat and sides came like 35 minutes later..
It was cold. Table was wobbly. Food was not as tasty as I remember it to be. Service agreed with our complaints and did not do much to make things better. I won’t be going back.
Service was terrible. Took about 20 minutes for our drinks; another 20 to order . Monday night so it wasn't busy. Waiter forgot to put in an order ( that was repeated twice). Everything just took super long. End of the night we ordered two henessy shots and he only brought one . Took awhile to get the check too- food was alright
Oh my. I have enjoyed WH at the Morgan Hill location & even the Campbell location at times. The food this time was meh. If I want to just fill my belly, I can do so for FAR less money. It was sorely disappointing. 😔

Went to treat my mom and my stepdad and fiancé to dinner here and every one of our steaks came back well done when we ordered them medium rare and rare . The service was good and the manager was quick to fix the issue and even comped one of the steaks (even though it should have been at least two comped because mine was still a bit over cooked second time around) would come back though the cocktails were made well and over all service was good .
It’s so hard to rate my true experience as business is hard all around but I feel I need to. I will start with this is NOT my typical service at WH but this time Service was terrible. First they forgot they sat us down. Someone finally came to take our order who I believe was the hostess. Our steak came back cooked wrong temp. Side dishes were cold. She delivered our dinner and never came back. I had to flag someone for our check, which she delivered and apologized for not coming back. I get times are hard but if you want repeat business service needs to be better.
Service was slow, soup was not hot. My salad had sun dried tomatoes that we hard to chew.
This was our last day to dine out before this next lockdown. We wanted to make sure to enjoy one of our favorites meals and wine while dining out. Our waiter was fairly new and he did an amazing job. The meal was cooked to perfection. We made sure to thank our wait staff which we hope you all do by being generous with your tips! Thank you for being open as for hanging on there during these trying times. We will be back as soon as your reopen for dining and will be ordering take out in the meantime!

Service was perfect. One of our meals came out overcooked, but they quickly re-fired another burger for my husband. Overall, another great experience at Willard Hicks.
Food was excellent-crab cakes, filet mignon, NY strip. Server was prompt, attentive, and personable. Sat outside and were warm and cozy with the heaters. Love the lighting and atmosphere. Willard Hicks is one of our family’s favorite places!

Service a bit slow but acceptable.
Our family had a Sunday lunch at the restaurant. The menu which popped up after scanning the QR code was not complete and did not contain the desserts as opposed to the one you can find on the website. The food was good but not outstanding, however, we had to wait for approximately 40 minutes, which - taking into consideration there were only few guests - is rather long, and the fourth plate was served 5 minutes after the rest, which is not acceptable - at least according to European terms. The staff was friendly but not professional. The noise level was moderate, we were sitting outside because of the pandemic.
The restaurant is nice, casual but classy. We went for my sisters birthday and the service was excellent. We originally reserved seating outside but unfortunately WH's heaters weren't working so they provided an indoor space, a private room, for our party. This was so great as we were worried about eating inside and they totally accommodated us by providing the private room. Also, the ambience was so nice, they had this music playing throughout the restaurante that was jazzy, with a little bit of old school, totally appropriate. All the food we ordered was fantastic, especially the cornbread, so sweet and savory, a must have. Another great item was the poke, very fresh and flavorful, I would definitely order again. Overall a great experience!
Willard Hicks used to be my go-to Campbell restaurant. I loved the service and the food. I enjoyed ordering a glass or two of Domaine Chandon Brut. Well, whether it has been the SIP and restrictions placed on the establishment, it wasn't what I remember. Our server seemed to be having a bad day. When I approached her about my glass of Champagne being not fresh and not cold enough (I had asked for a glass of $18 Champagne from a fresh, chilled bottle,) and was very polite about it, she didn't apologize and just said, "So you want to change it for something else." There was no offer of a new bottle, more chilled, etc. So, I changed it to a Merlot...Decoy, which we can buy at High Five Pizza in a strip mall for $8 a glass.
Our friends were really cold outside with the wind blowing, so we asked for an outdoor heater, upon seeing that there were 6 of them. We were informed that there was no propane. How does a manager not prepare for the first coldest day of the Fall? We are in Campbell, not Buffalo. When this situation was brought up to the server, she acted very apathetic to it and luckily, someone at the host stand intervened and said he would help. We were offered a table inside. Once seated, our server informed us we "only had an hour" since we switched to indoors.
Our food was okay; I probably should have ordered the burger because while my filet was good and was prepared black and blue, it wasn't really what I would consider to be worth over $45. And we pay to dine out. Part of this is due to the service.
I know these are trying times for all of us. Having been in the hotel industry for over a decade and a half, and food and beverage service for longer, I understand we all have good days and bad. If you have patrons shelling out this kind of money, the experience should be worth it.
It makes me sad to write this review and I sincerely want to like WIllard Hicks again.
Great server, food was ok, not a lot for the price.
I used to love going to Willard Hicks but after this visit, I will likely not go again. First, the service was terrible. Our waiter hardly checked in on us and we felt stranded out on the sidewalk. Secondly, our food was extremely bland. For the price you pay at Willard Hicks, you would expect more. Even the steak fries (which used to be my favorite) were not great and overcooked and dry. Everything from the salad to the mac-n-cheese, to the mash potatoes, they all lacked taste considering their simplicity. My boyfriend had the New York steak which was overcooked and also lacked flavor.
The steaks here are so delicious and have great presentation! First class
It was a really fun experience, the service was great, the food and drinks were awesome. We went on Halloween so it was a very fun ambiance sitting outside and people watching. Everything was very clean, overall great experience, we will definitely be coming back.
The heater on our outside seating area was not working. No one even cared to replace it so my son on that side of the table was freezing.
Delicious food, but took a long time to come to the table. Service was friendly, but seemed understaffed this particular night. HOWEVER, the music playlist was amazing & made the wait for the food tolerable.
Food was definitely low grade. Doesn't compare to LB steak and texas roadhouse is better. We arrived at 6:40 reservation at 7 and weren't helped even for drinks until 7:15. Waiter was about the best from this place and our bottle of wine.

Even with reservation we were not given a table for 30 minutes. Hostess had no clue about ‘Customer Service’.

Great place with a great atmosphere. It took a little time for us to get served, and the waitress forgot a couple of things (the beverages), but other than that, excellent food, and the fact you can seat inside, make all the difference.
