Wolfgang's Steakhouse - Broadway (37th St.)

Spent a Valentines day with my girlfriend at wonderful location.
We were gifted a red rose for the table which I think was a nice touch.
The gentleman in the suit brought us to the nice booth table as we came a little earlier that day and place wasnt busy at the time.
Waiter informed us about specials, soup of the day and recommended a porterhouse for 2 which is a must in an occasions like this!
Side were huge and are very fresh, lobster mac and cheese was delicious!
Asparagus were nice and fresh!
We were greeted by staff as we were walking out.

Love this place!We have been frequent there pre-Covid.
Glad they opened back at Sunday.
We came around 7pm and the place was mostly full.
Love the ambiance and beauty of the restaurant.
Far better than their other locations.
Overall everything was great, porterhouse is still best in town, always consistent, service kind and detailed ( regret not taking down the waiters name ), and desserts are must with schlag.
Keep it up with the wine list.

Was there for valentines day first of all this location is very beautiful and the ambience was very nice. Service was right on from the minute we entered the restaurant and left. Food was excellent we had surf and turf and the filet also all the sides hit the spot. We will be returning soon! It was pleasant seeing restaurants open again

The bread was served cold. The food lack flavor. It was cold in the establishment. The waiters were overwhelmed. Even the drinks weren’t good. Would not go back or recommend.

This was the worst dining experience I ever had. My girlfriend and I went to Wolfgang’s for Valentine’s Day dinner. It was terrible. Let’s start with, this was the 2nd night of restaurants opening after covid shut downs, so they were operating at 25% capacity. This also made me give them the benefit of the doubt, being they haven’t been serving people for quite some time, so maybe they are just rusty and need to get back into the swing of things. We were sat with no menu’s, no silverware. After 20 minutes of sitting there menuless, we had to flag down an employee and ask for menus. That took 10 minutes. Then we had to ask them for the separate drink menus. Once we finally got the menus, and ordered our food, it took 45 minutes to get the food. It was inedible! My girlfriend ordered a filet mignon, medium well. It was bleeding red. I ordered a ribeye rare. It was blue, barely even seared. The creamed spinach side we ordered, came from a can. Completely inedible, we threw the whole dish out. The mushrooms, were slimy, and greasy, and surprisingly, that was the best thing we got, so that says a lot. They made no effort to check on us the entire meal. We had to flag people down asking for drink refills. Finally after we were ready to leave, we waited 30 minutes before the waiter came over and asked how everything was. After that, he walked away before we can finish our sentence, or ask for a check. So we waited another 10 minutes before he decided to make an appearance again. We finally asked for the check. Once again, another 10-15 minute wait. And to be clear, there were about 10 waiters working, with many bus staff, to a restaurant only accommodating 25% capacity, so I would really hate to see how they operate with a full house. Usually you’d expect a waiter to ask if anybody would like dessert or coffee, nope! For a fairly expensive restaurant, you’d expect the food to at least be edible. $300+ and 3 hours later for a dinner for 2, we left beyond disappointed.

Terrible service . Food was cold over cooked and took 1 hour for 4 piece shrimp cocktail to come out. They forgot about our table and tried to say we can have free dessert it was 2 people they only have 1

Food was good but one issue I had was when I ordered the porterhouse for 2 the waiter clearly said "these come with 2 sides" as if it was apart of the meal. So I thought why not? The check came I was charged for those 2 sides. Spoke to the waiter/supervisor or whoever and they said they don't do that. So why would he mention this porterhouse comes with 2 sides? It was a bit mind boggling. If it wasn't part of the meal, then why did the waiter mentioned "it comes with 2 sides" instead of fixing the issue they simply said "miscommunication" as if that was going to resolve the issue. Side note we ordered 3 appetizers before hand.

I really enjoyed this steakhouse. I think it was one of the best steaks I have ever eaten in my whole life. The only thing that I would have to say is that I was told I would be accommodated for a better table being that I accommodated the restaurant messing up reservations, and they still sat me on a hightop table. Other than that, the drinks were great, the food was great, I highly recommend this steakhouse!

The food was horrible-the steak was undercooked, then overcooked. The steak was a NY strip and arrived sliced, which was not described when ordered. I do not like my meat cut up. Place was extremely expensive for the value even in NYC. I could have gotten a much better meal for less at Ruth's Chris, Palm, Mortons, etc. DO NOT GO TO THIS PLACE-HORRIBLE.

Everything about the restaurant was great! The service, the food and drinks. Our server was wonderful and we actually happened to be the only ones in the restaurant. I’m definitely going back❤️

It was a great dinner for a birthday celebration

Staff did not inform us on a 30 percent up charge on all menu items prior to ordering. Steak came out very raw we kindly asked them to put it back on the grill staff advised us it was to close to closing time.

Food was lacking flavor. The steak seemed under aged. The food in general was really heavy and we ordered mainly vegetables.

Great, Overall satisfaction. Me and the guests enjoyed our stay and staff went above and beyond. Thanks again!

This was my first time dining at this Wolfgang's location - and what a treat it turned out to be. The restaurant is absolutely beautiful - with a lovely wall of windows great for people-watching. The dining room is spacious and the tables were all spread out, so I felt very safe. I had the mixed greens salad, the yellowfin tuna with mashed potatoes, and the apple strudel for dessert. Everything was just fantastic. The service was outstanding and the manager was extremely friendly and kept checking on me. I look forward to going back.

As usual the porterhouse steak for 2 is amazing!

Food was mediocre except for the cheesecake. The service was not very good. The ambience was lovely - enjoyed the natural light coming in from the front windows.

Has a ways to go to rival the 33rd and Park location. Like the venue better, but porterhouse was a bit fatty and chewy. Sides were cold. Crab cocktail was tiny. With some work, could be great, as location and atmosphere are great.

Best steak house in the city! Always a great experience when we dine at Wolfgang's on Broadway.

Service was superb. Our waiter and very attentive and friendly. Food was ok, I feel like the steak at their other locations (been to park Ave and upper East side) is better. This location is a bit more of a modern chic vibe which I like, but it get a bit loud and noisy (there was a big group of younger folks making lots of noise) which made the dining experience less pleasant.

Great food, ambiance & service. Only thing was the long wait & not precise on reservation timing. I had a reservation at 9:30 & didn't eat until close to 10:45 .. that was with us ordering right away too. Overall great place.

Birthday and Valentines Day Dinner

Extremely slow service.
Felt like the waiter forgot to place our order with the kitchen.
Between apps and our actual meal, we had to wait over an hour.
The management did come to our table and apologize, but the lack of attention from our waiter left us pretty disappointed. Food was decent, not great but decent.

Our waiter Esmin was very respectful and took care of us. However, the issue my date and I had was that our food took over 45minutes to come out. I’m positive it was close to an hour but the worse part was the wrong steak came out. I was very surprise a high-end steakhouse would confuse a filet mignon with lamb chops. In addition, they left our steak fries at another empty table and it wasn’t until 10 minutes later, I mentioned to the waiter “that’s our steak fries over there.” He’s like “oh okay, sorry about that.”

Just very disappointing.

Outstanding service! Food was excellent! Beautiful atmosphere! First class dining and first class service! Loved my experience and would highly recommend dining at Wolfgang’s Steakhouse!

Wonderfully knowledgeable staff, the meal was excellent. My steak was prepared as requested. The manager (Trevor??) was attentive, checking that all our needs were met. Wine list was on point, a lot of good finds from boutique producers. Will definitely be back!
