    My husband’s 40th-food was great, kids were entertained with activity sheet and I loved the vegan coconut ice cream and beetroot poppets.The vegan options are great and we came back again just for ice-cream.

    The food and service were good at Zizzi Eastbourne but an invasion of small annoying flies around the restaurant were off putting to say the least , the manager says they are getting the problem rectified soon.

    We went early evening and the restaurant was quite the waitress was polite and served are drinks quickly and took our order, unfortunately the food served was not good mostly bland and lacking content for example my wife’s pizza was supposed to come with olives but they were very scarce and the father in laws lamb shank looked more like a chicken drumstick. The restaurant became busier and it was still minimal staff which made ordering more drinks impossible then a long wait for the bill added to the disappointment

    The poker face reception answered YEAP to my Hello. Food isn’t hot enough. Ordered ravioli with tomato sauce. Very obviously just boiled the ravioli in hot water then on top add tomato sauce. Piazza, just warm only. And everything served very very quick. 40mins finished 3 courses.

    Nice table near the large window frontage, perfect starters and were all lovely and hot, felt better atmosphere when more customers being seated, past 6pm, and enjoyed good main meals (classic pizza, rissotto, carbarnaro pasta) and great way to send off son for his first University night!

    Excellent. Well looked after and good with children. Food tasted lovely and was hot. Kept an eye on the drinks so we didn't have to wait.
