Redstone American Grill - Oakbrook Terrace
I didn't realize Redstone had a brunch for Fathers Day. We sat right next to the line for the buffet so it was not very relaxing. I didnt want a brunch but my husband and son enjoyed it. Our waitress was great! They should have had cornbread on the buffet since that's a special item they offer normally!
Father’s Day brunch was great.
Father’s Day buffet. Should not have gone. Planning on just chalking it up to bad choice and just not go back.
Very accommodating, steak overcooked
Redstone constantly serves great food (especially ribs!) for a fairly reasonable price. It can sometimes get a little noisy, but the decor makes up for that. The wait staff could be a little more attentive- a water glass should not sit empty for the entire meal! But this is a restaurant we have visited many times in the past and will do so in the future.
The server was great and very accommodating to our grandchildren.
Flat bread with rotisserie chicken was not up to par
The mani crusted mani mani was very dry and tasteless
My table request to sing happy bday with a piece of dessert the lady who waited on my table never came with the desert and took my tip when it was toward my bill her name is michelle we sat by the fire on saturday reservation at 630 pm. I thought was very rude and unthoughtful me and my girlfriend is coming again on Friday hopefully we will get better service she is taking me there again because she was unable to attend on Saturday 06/08/2019.
The worst half rack a ribs ever !!! I told the manager too much fat, not cleaned! The manager offered to replace them.. why would I want more horrible ribs. An offer for something other than the ribs would have been better. No comp on the bill ..
The absolute worst meal ever!
Great food, service and atmosphere!
Very disappointed with food. Fish was dry and sides not cooked completely.
This restaurant is hidden off of Butterfield Road in Oak Brook Terrace. Find a day to get over there... the food is delicious, well prepared with big portions. A good selection of wine and beer, and mixed drinks. I have been there twice, each time impressed with the quality and the preparation of food.
A fun place to dine on a summer night. Food is good and atmosphere great.
Celebrating friends birthday at brunch. Enjoyed outdoor seating. Service fair because we found ourselves looking around for waiter more than once. Had to ask for water refills. Orange mule good & Champagne pomegranate mimosa yummy but warm. All meals good. We’ve been loyal customers since restaurant opened and will return.
Everything was almost perfect except apparently the birthday cake I brought to be served was semi smashed when our waitperson Gary was opening the cake box. So the cake was kinda distorted which was disappointing
We had Steak and Fish off of the specials menu and both were outstanding. We also had some vodka Gimlets that were made perfectly. Will definitely go back.
3 boys ages 9 - 12 were running around the restaurant and bar and none of the staff or the manager did anything. What a shame
The perfect place to connect for a "Girls Night Out", although we went on a Friday night, a weeknight would be better suited for uninterrupted conversation with friends. The cozy environment, friendly wait staff and the Restaurant Manager Kelly has an amazing servant leadership mentality that trickles down into her people! The bang bang cauliflower was an exceptional "vegetarian" substitute to buffalo wings and the house salad was not your run of the mill. The fresh Parmesan and spicy walnuts give this classic salad a fresh twist. Everyone loved the outdoor fireplace, and the Strawberry Doli with fresh pineapple is worth skipping dessert!
Excellent food, outstanding service.
We ordered off the specials, appetizers and sides menus. It was all good.
Our server gave us great recommendations and the food was excellent!
The next time I want ribs I will definitely go here. Great ribs. Fall off the bone tender. Slightly sweet.
Went for my daughter's High School Graduation. The waiter was not professional and didn't add to our experience. The food was good.
It was a great evening as I was celebrating 10 years of marriage with my lovely wife, Mya.
We celebrated a graduation
The food was excellent and service was good!
Friendly and knowledgeable servers -
Well cooked, flavorful food and skillet corn bread that's the best.
Always love it
I tried one of the specials and it was ok but not great. It was the mussels and it was spicy and tasty but it was hard to eat with the sauce having the sausage ground with large stripes of peppers. I also had broken bits of the mussel shells in my food. The others with me enjoyed a great salad, soup, flatbread and the ribs.
Terrific food - The shrimp were dynamite as was the roasted chicken. The service was wonderful as well!
Overall it was a pleasant outing but, quite noisy
Redstone has been a favorite of ours for a very long time, but I feel that this recent visit wasn’t up to their high standards. Based on the past we expected better, and for the prices they charge they really should be. Maybe we caught them on an off night. We will certainly give them another chance but I was disappointed with this past visit.
Went for brunch, food was delicious!!! At first a little disappointed in the limited menu selections but what we had was so great that it didn't matter. So very tasty that we will definitely will go again.
We had a nice meal at Redstone. But it was not great to have to pay $5 for a little bit of bread and $2 more to get some more! The tapanade and flavored butter were good, but most places serve bread free.
Our dishes were very tasty. We thought the pricing was a bit high. It was very loud as there was a big party right behind us. I had been here a couple times before and I thought the menu was more interesting in the past. One of our group wanted chicken and there were not many choices.
Great food and service always a winner!
The dinner was spectacular and the service was extraordinary on Friday!
We ate outside at the high top bar tables. It was a beautiful night! Great happy hour menu for food and drinks. The only issue was the main server was more interested in talking with the girl at the bar than serving customers. He was there for 25 minutes, so we had to grab another server to get a second round before happy hour closed at 6 pm
Great place! Great staff - Katie, Kelly, Barbara - engaging conversation. Thanks!
I haven’t been to Redstone in a couple of years and I definitely won’t be back. I brought clients for a business lunch. The restaurant is extremely loud, but that was better than the service and food. We asked for water no less than 3 times and never received any, had to ask for refills on all drinks, the food was mediocre at best. Simply a huge disappointment. Poor service and below average food will never cut it in my book. Over priced and under delivered.
I have not been here back here in over 5 years, now I know why. This place has changed. It use to be an upscale place but now it seems like your local restaurant where you can come in as you are. My food was cold coming out, my waiter failed to mention they ran out of vegetables by 7:30pm so they just gave me whatever they wanted on my plate. Just a huge disappoint. I’ll stick to the new upcoming places until they can remodel & change the menu & the Cook’s.
