The wine and starters were very nice, but we all 3 had a different pasta dish and none of us were impressed. It was quantity over quality.
The starters were very nice, and the service very good, though the mains were not good value and would put me off returning
Also - their vegetarian food was not actually vegetarian - rennet is in the food. There was a disclaimer at the back of the menu I saw when ordering dessert - not good enough
We visited in early August, 2019 and really enjoyed ourselves. We are a family of 5, 2 adults 3 kids aged 13 and 10. We have been to San Lorenzo's before but not all together. The children loved their first dining experience here and will certainly want to go back. Lovely food, great staff. Friendly and very patient and polite. Excellent all round.
Book well in advance if you want a table. It fills up very fast!
Happy over all with good food and nice buzz about the restaurant.
Very good service very attentive. Portions very generous and tasty. The only minus my tuna steak was well done.
It was overpriced but the food and service were outstanding. Kudos to Sean for his 5 star service!
The service was very warm and friendly, the early bird was great value, the food was delicious especially the dark chocolate pot dessert.
The waiters were very patient when our friend was running late, were naturally conversational and laid back. They asked where we were going afterwards. When we told them it was the famous Drag Queen Bingo at The George, they recommended that we don't take too long for dinner due to the event's extreme popularity, which was very sound advice. My chargrilled asparagus was just what the doctor ordered and my homemade pasta primavera was tender and juicy. Combine this with two glasses of crisp grillo white wine and a chunk of my friend's chocolate cheesecake and I was ready to bound down the road to Drag Queen Bingo. The event, as advised, was already really busy, but we managed to get a table - I'm glad we listened to the wise men! I'll definitely be returning as the food was really comforting and flavorsome, we felt right at home and we got great value for money. The bill came to just under 200 euro for five people. We had two courses each out of the early bird menu, which came to roughly 35-40 per person, including wine and extras.
It’s a really cute place with good ambiance. The food was really good! I got the avocado and toast and my friend got the tacos and they were so yummy! The staff was also super attentive and very friendly.
No nonsense good food, really great service and very nice surroundings! What more could a body want for Sunday brunch? Unreservedly recommended!
Fantastic service and accommodating. Food was really good and the cocktails even better! Nothing too much trouble and were willing to change dishes and drinks to our taste. Thank you for a lovely evening.
Everything was perfect! Chicken saltimbocca was UNREAL! Great Prosecco and deserts!!
Great food, really recommend the breakfast tacos! Looking forward to trying the french toast next time
We had the chicken dish which was fab and the pork belly, beautifully cooked.
For dessert the pavlova was a let down, nothing special about it, could do this at home, should change this to roulade or something a more restaurant standard! Cheesecake was nice.
Great service and night
Fresh, tasty food and a lively atmosphere.
Excellent meal, staff so kind, polite and obliging.
San Lorenzos has such a warm and welcoming atmosphere. Love this little gem of a game estaurant!
Some of our food was reheated, some was cooked fresh. Very disappointed to be served reheated food, it was rock hard. Service was excellent but could not make up for the awful food.
Mid week brunch was fab!!! We had our table from 12:30 & it it was lovely & quiet. Food was excellent & plentiful. The side orders are large so definitely share them to save €. We also shared a dessert as they are €8.50.
Overall we had a lovely afternoon & the staff were very attentive
Nice place, lovely staff. Great wine recommendations, lovely food!
Our experience was overall positive particularly because of the service. Food wise the lamb special was disappointing as was the steak (also extra). The duck a la carte was beautiful and the mushroom bruschetta starter also a special was gorgeous.
However we felt it was overpriced for our overall e experience.
Excellent brunch! Delicious food and great service! Highly recommend!
Desert was not nice very overcooked. We got forgotten about and kept asking people for more wine. Starter and main nice. Staff friendly at start then they get busy.
Excellent brunch last Sunday as always. There was a short (15) minute wait for our table but the manager gave us a complimentary glass of Prosecco as soon as we sat down. We were near the window so it wasn’t too noisy but down the back was buzzing. I had the breakfast tacos as usual and they were delicious. See you again soon guys
Beautiful tacos & avacado toast. Good service, will go again
Had been once before and wanted to give it another shot.
It’s very noisy! And tables very close together. The staff were so lovely - customer service better than the food.
I had the full fry breakfast and didn’t like the taste of the sausage (seemed cheap) and the pudding was very hard.
Would have also been nice with a slice of sourdough (suggestion) classic Irish situation-
Ate it all and said nothing but thinking about it - if you fancy a catch up with a
Friend I wouldn’t recommend here
Food was excellent. Had Gambas followed by the duck, my wife had the scallops ( a special ) and the Hake. Arrived in late having had to ring in twice to say we would be running late. This was no problem to them and we were very pleased with the food and the night.
Great meal with fantastic service! I’d recommend the cocopops toast from the brunch menu
Lovely food got the French toast with streaky bacon and was gorgeous and my bf got the eggs benedict and it was so tasty too! Only thing I will say is the seats are so close to the next table that it’s very awkward to get in and out and can get so warm ..besides that I love the place!
Very friendly And tasty food
Absolutely delightful brunch there last Saturday. The staff are perfect, attentive but not in your face. The food was fabulous and great value for the quality. The fruit cooler drinks really hit the spot. Very nice atmosphere. Will definitely be repeating the experience.
The waiter was excellent. He was very patient even though it took us a long time to decide... and was happy to give recommendations.
It's a nice place and nice food. But when we came over nobody helped me to find the table where my friend was. The waitress wasn't helpful and after an hour she asked us to leave as she needed the table. When we came over nobody mention anything about the time. I don't think I will go back but it was a nice experience.
Food was incredible- we practically licked the plates clean & as per usual the staff were impressive as always...
The service and staff were fantastic, a little disappointed that there is no childrens menu considering they are open for lunch, early bird, not having a childrens menu rules out families going and therefore this means we would not consider here for family events etc. Its a pity because the staff were fab with the children, perhaps something to think about as it is ruling out alot of potential customers.
Food was excellent and the staff were very friendly & helpful. I love a good gap between courses but it did take a very long time for our main course to come out. I would definitely return but not if I was in a hurry
We went for brunch on a Saturday and it was incredible. The crab cakes were amazing. Great atmosphere as well. It was completely packed so booking essential I would say
The food was good but the service wasn’t great. We had a prebooked table but it took ten minutes for us to be seated. Aside from taking our order and delivering/removing the table we had no interaction with the staff. We tried to get their attention for 20 minutes to ask for a water refill but eventually gave up. It took us another 20 minutes to get someone’s attention for the bill. I realise it is a very busy spot but there were lots of staff on yet the service to customers was lacking.
Our waiter was really nice, he looked after us very well with his bubbly personality. Thank you :)
I felt the food was very overpriced for the quality of it, well for my Avocado and toast . with bacon was approx 16 Euro- which Is crazy amount and that was cheapist dish on Brunch, the eggs were not hot enough, and the dish was out of proportion and lacked flavour. Staff were friendly but just the food let it down for me- TY
The “breakfast of champions” could do with the addition of a slice of toast.
