Other than noise level, everything was perfect including our water, wait staff and very thoughtful and gracious manager.
A friend and I was there celebrating a birthday Victory tap was recommended and I must say we were very pleased food was excellent service excellent our waitress was fantastic and I'm sorry I don't recall her name but she was a pro I would definitely recommend Victory tap and of course we would definitely return again.
Service was indifferent. Not asked if we wanted another drink, no spoons for a sauce, no menu provided for dessert. Asked for a bag for leftovers and told they did not have them. Finally asked for a brown paper bag.
My uncle and I got to dinner at 7:30 and pretty quickly ordered 2 appetizers for our dinner to share. It took them about an hour to bring out a personal pizza and the eggplant tower appetizers. We didn't get out of the restaurant until 9. While the food was very good, the wait was absolutely crazy. It was also impossible to hear each other talk as it was so loud in there.
Victory is our “go to” neighborhood place for any occasion. Food is great and Lisa is the best!
It was closed I don't know why they had it available on line
Excellent service and delicious food! My husband and I shared the Caesar salad and a small pizza and enjoyed both. The complimentary bread they serve is to die for. Wish I could’ve taken some home!
Amazing staff, amazing food, our favorite neighborhood spot.
This awesome neighborhood spot never, ever disappoints. The honey crisp apple salad is outstanding! So was the gnocchi and sausage and peppers, which Victor, our fabulous server also had the kitchen add potatoes to! Please never take Red Schooner off of the wine list! Wonderful, energetic place
Second visit. Really enjoyed.
Really great place, casual atmosphere but don't be surprised by the "Tap" name the food is top shelf Italian and as good or better than any of the restaurants in Little Italy. Had the brick chicken, which was best I have ever experienced, wife had the meatballs also outstanding. Service was equally great, very attentive and accommodating.
It was a good experience. Food is overpriced and not as good as I expect for the price.
Excellent food and service - waitress was very attentive to our needs and food portions large
It was great. We had a special needs adult in our party. The staff was wonderful. Delicious food too!!!
As always good and wine were great! Thank you!
It was a great dinner but the noise level was so loud, you could barely hear you conversations with the people you were dining with in the restaurant.
This place is one of our favorite neighborhood hangouts. The food is usually pretty good, service usually pretty good. It is however, very loud when the restaurant is full, due to the lack of soft surfaces in the decor.
This last visit, we had 8 in our party, 6 of whom are from out of town visiting us. I made reservations via Open Table. When we got there, the hostess decided that she was going to put us in the bar - high top table with backless barstools. We have a few Older folks with us, so that was definitely NOT a good idea. Luckily, the manager spotted that we were not happy and I was trying to get her attention. She asked if we could wait for a few minutes and set us up at a proper table in the dining room.
Everyone had a good time, except the noise level was quite high and hard to carry on a conversation. No matter, food was good, wine was good.
Great food, well priced. Way too loud.
We had the stuffed shells, chopped salad, and the cucumber cocktail. It was amazing!!!
We started with an order of the cauliflower, meatballs, and burrata salad. Entrees were stuffed shells, meat ravioli, and the pork chop. Everything was phenomenal. We didn't have time (or room in our stomachs) for dessert. Can't wait to come back.
Food came out at different times or not at all. Very slow but will always come back for the AMAZING food
Made a 5:30 reservation prior to the concert. Waited over an hour for the table and then 30 minutes to order. Food never came. At 7:20 we had to leave for the concert hungry. Of course we had to pay for our drinks. I should have known that the reason I could get a reservation (when all other nearby restaurants were not accepting reservations) was that the restaurant wanted to get us there for whatever they could get from us. Really bad experience. Will not go back. Far too many great restaurant owners who work hard for their customers in Chicago to deal with this.
We love Armand’s and always have a nice dinner and great service, but this is the second time we’ve come before a concert and the wait time and service has been awful. I understand that there’s a concert, so there might be a bit of a wait for food (we had reservations for seating), but the restaurant should staff accordingly and only seat the amount of tables they are able to accommodate. We will not be returning before any event and I would highly suggest going elsewhere.
Breaded pork chop was deliciouso!
Always enjoy Armands Victory Tap. Food and drinks are very good; service excellent.
Set up a reservation for 645pm for night of first Rolling Stones concert. Got there, learned that not only would table not be ready, they did not know when it would be ready. This is unacceptable. If you're taking reservations, you must make good on them. If you can't accept reservations because of extenuating circumstances, then don't allow reservations. Simple. We won't be going back.
Perfect spot for a good meal before an event at Soldier Field (as long as the intense energy aka low-level chaos doesn't bother you).
The food was so fresh and extremely delicious. Every single dish we had was outstanding and we will definitely be back to try more.
Amazing food and service. Very attentive wait staff even on a busy Friday night. Old time ambience.
The food was amazing, the lasagna was outstanding and the homemade shells were also very well done. In addition, the old fashioned was one of the best I’ve had in the city. Our only complaint was that it was a little louder than we would have preferred but still a good experience
My big eating son & husband loved it!!
Great place for dinner. Loved the service, atmosphere and especially the pizza!
Found this on Open Table and Also saw the yelp reviews and picked it for both. OMG so delicious. Caesar salad was one of the best I ever had (and I make a damn good one) and my husband LOOOOVVVEEEDD the deep dish pizza. Healthy portions but since we had traveled all day and not eaten, we made a mark. Service was great- Danielle was out server and super attentive and knowledgeable. Would go there every week if we didn’t live across the country.
Great place to eat!! The breads are excellent. The Chicken Marsala was great. My friends enjoyed the special of the day. Our server was very sweet and attentive. So were our two busboys. The only thing I wish was they sold half portions. I can never eat all my food.
Omg, the new Honey Crisp Apple Salad is outstanding! We ate at the bar with Hymie who is wonderful. Please don't take Red Schooner off of the wine list!
My friends and I truly enjoyed the food, service, and atmosphere.
Service was great!
Best Italian food I’ve had in the city. The staff is phenomenal and spot is intimate and perfect. I highly recommend eating there if you get the chance.
Sound system way too loud. We had to yell to be heard! & $20 valet in South Loop!!!! What?
Food & server were very good, however
