I feel like the entrance for a restaurant sets the tone. The elevator from street level didn’t make it feel special though the reception tried. Food: wine selection was great. The bisque tasted like any average bisque. Sea bass was good, but I’ve had better. Butter cake was awesome! Overall, I hoped to be wowed.

Let me begin by stating that I am a big fan of Water Grill. I have dined a various locations many times over the years. This was my first full dinner experience in the Las Vegas location. I previously had drinks and apps at the bar and found it surprising how slow the restaurant was. After eating in the dining room I realize they have some service issues to work out. Our server was friendly and professional but clearly spread too thin. Delays for drink orders, water refills and food timing was a major stormcloud over the experience. When our server began to manage a party of 12 as well, I knew we were in trouble. The final aggravation was getting the dinner check paid. Se was tied up for a long time with the new large party and there was no one else stopping by to make sure we were covered. I saw the manager when we first arrived but never saw him on the floor during our meal. Given the reputation and price point of Water Grill, I would call this experience a fail. I usually consider dinner at Water Gill a special ocassion. Very disappointing

Mastro’s food was delicious! Gorgeous atmosphere and ambience. All the staff was so kind and welcoming. Our waitress, Greta was phenomenal and so attentive. She was super helpful with recommendations and assisting with my gluten allergy and ensuring the food was prepared safely for me. She even brought out a delicious chocolate cake for my friend and I to finish off our celebration meal! 10/10 would recommend.

There are lots of sushi choices and a great selection of uncommon Japanese beers. The half-shell oysters were delicious. There are plenty of tapas-style selections as well. They also remembered my birthday!
