Seasons 52 - Schaumburg
Celebrating a birthday. Our server really made the birthday person feel very special...card, flower and champagne toast.
2nd time here. Food was OUTSTANDING!!! Service was very slow. It wasn’t too busy not sure why.
Everything was wonderful. The space was a little too noisy for my liking tho
Service was great, I marked that we were celebrating my wife's birthday and they had a small birthday card waiting for us on the table, and gave us complimentary champagne and gave my wife a rose as we left. Our waiter Juan was great, super nice, and helpful. Service is 5 stars. Food was good but not big portions for the price. We ordered 2 appetizers, each had an entree, my wife added the lobster tail to hers and we had a side of Mac and cheese. My wife had the Chilean sea bass, tasted great, I'll get that next time. I had the bistro steak, I wouldn't recommend, didn't taste like "prime sirloin" and was super small.
This was a birthday celebration. Our waiter was outstanding!,,,
This was, by far, the worst experience we’ve had at this restaurant! To begin, I asked for water with no ice, got water with ice and due to sensitivity had to ask for a straw. My husband ordered soup but our meal was served with no soup. When he commented about it, they removed our meals “to check” and then brought out his soup. Our meals were brought out shortly after. My husband ordered sea bass which he said was good. I ordered filet cooked medium rare plus. It started bland and not very flavorful. By the time I got to the center it had been cooked medium well, definitely not medium rare plus! The manager came over to assure us our what been “re-made”. Didn’t seem like it. My meal was comped, which was very nice but I came home hungry and disappointed. We usually have a good experience at this restaurant but I will hesitate before we come here again.
One of our go to places and they did a great job for our anniversary celebration. Food and service is always great with plenty of room for a mini indulgence.
Our waiter, Tommy was very attentive and provided excellent service.
From the wine to the appetizers to our entree everything was delicious!! We had the chicken and mozzarella flatbread which was awesome that was topped with arugula which added such a fresh touch. The grilled artichokes with the hummus was a great combination. I have just started liking hummus and not only was it delicious on the grill artichokes but they had radishes and celery to dip into the hummus as well. The hummus was very creamy. The golden beats with goat cheese and pistachios drizzled with balsamic glaze was surprisingly delicious. All the flavors worked together beautifully. Everyone cleaned their plates so the Chilean sea bass, cedar plank salmon, filet mignon, and the lamb was so tasty!! So loved the Vanderpump wine I tried!! I also had the key lime pie dessert and the pecan pie was juSt like a piece of pecan pie were 2 good choices.
It’s been a few years since I’ve been here so I forgot how dark it is inside. It took a few moments to adjust from the bright outside to look for the table where my husband and his cousins were seated. Our server, Bill, was great. He was friendly and knowledgeable about the food and drinks menu. I ordered the entree grilled salmon salad - very good. The salmon filet was served alongside the greens. I liked that it wasn’t flaked or chunked mixed in the salad. The crunchy jicama and sweet mango cubes really made the dish a memorable one for me. My husband was happy with his hand-rolled lasagna and side dish of beets. We’d definitely come back again soon.
I'VE BEEN GOING TO SEASON'S 52 IN SCHAUMBURG ALMOST SINCE IT OPENED
THE FOOD IS ALWAYS DELICIOUS....SERVICE WONDERFUL...WINE LIST GREAT
ALWAYS A PLEASURE TO DINE THERE
Need more vegan options although waitress was very helpful.
Great dinner and the rose and champagne were a great surprise for my wife’s birthday
Service was wonderful and attentive. David, our waiter, was very accommodating to our family’s needs and made the birthday celebration very special.
Outstanding in all areas celebrating 50 year college reunion.
Server Samantha excellent and to our delight special room, anniversary balloons and complimentary champagne!
Everyone very impressed making most memorable day!
Food and drink was great with perfect sense for leisurely celebration.
Excellent choice for small or large parties. Our server, Mike, was attentive, polite and ensured our dining experience was top-notch. Avo toast was good - just the right balance between the qty of avo, pickled onions and tomatoes - if not overly inventive. Summer Corn soup is not to be missed, and I'd suggest a bowl rather than a cup so you can share a taste with your tablemates. Wild Salmon was a relatively large filet and cooked perfectly. Pass on the special squash side. Grits & Shrimp were possibly the best I've had, and having spent time in FLA I think I know my way around grits. Lastly, the steak - sorry, can't remember the cut that was ordered - was cooked to a perfect medium-rare and seasoned just right to maximize flavor. Did not have dessert tho' we did enjoy a bottle of Rosé. Total tab was $200 for a party of 3.
My Dad was in town.
FABULOUS SUMMER DRINKS AND CORN FLATBREAD SHOULD NOT BE MISSED!
I had the grilled shrimp & avocado appetizer with the spinach & roasted broccoli salad, both were very good, I would order them again.
The Seasons 52 in Schaumburg, Illinois is spectacular.
Came for anniversary and indicated in reservation and no
Acknowledgement was made and I did not feel like asking
Service was unattentive. I had to waive down waiter twice for water. Took a long time to order. Waiter said he was seated several tables at the same time which is not my problem
Flatbread missing goat cheese on most pieces. Had to flag down waiter. Was remade and served about a minute before our entrees.
Thought for the price we did not get a nice experience
Excellent food options. Service and venue is a higher end casual dining experience. Always enjoy dining at Season's 52.
I have been there a dozen times. This was the best. The roasted chicken was outstanding and the sirloin steak was fabulous.
The Martini was made right. Deserts are always good. Our server Gani was a blast. We've had him before and he's excellent.
I have been to this restaurant numerous times before. I’ve always satisfied. This visit was different. I did not like the seasonal menu choices. I ended up ordering the Maui chicken salad but it was not good.
This place never fails to provide great food, service and ambience
The only thing we missed was having bread service!
Dinner was great, but. I was very pleased when I stopped in prior to my reservation and asked for a particular table in order to celebrate an anniversary, and the hostess said she would hold the table for me... AWESOME. When we arrived hours later the table was occupied and they ended up putting us at a nearby table. Everyone was very nice except the manager, who explained that our reservation was a "teaching moment " for a hostess who promised a customer too much. I would consider the hostess Marlin an asset to this location for her dedication to customer satisfaction. On the other hand the manager was a downer. "Someone could come and sit in that table all day and I couldn't do anything ". Ha!
The food was great. Our server Bella was great. I would have to say that they COULD reserve a table, as they had little reserved signs all over the place, and the restaurant was way from full. For a Monday night the manager could have stretched a bit. On a Friday I could understand difficulty holding a table. For the anniversary they gave us a complementary dessert and a nice card/flower at the table.
First time here. Everything was amazing! Will definitely be back!
Our waiter Lel, was awesome! He is very personable and accommodating. My wife and I had a great time celebrating there and are excited to return
We had a lovely evening celebrating our friends 75 birthday!! Delicious food and a wonderful server, named Bella. She did everything to make our dinner perfect!! We have been there many times, and will certainly go back!!
Our waiter Jim was great.. food was delish...love the new summer selections.
Have not been in awhile and honestly went for the piano bar, but it's gone :(
But will come back
The ambiance was nice, the drinks were okay, food was hit or miss. My husband had to send his steak back twice. I was thrilled that they had wild caught salmon it was a little over cooked as well but still tasty.
I always love Seasons 52!! It is one of my favorites!
Our server, Bill, was amazing...he was very attentive and efficient.
This is the first time I had a dish that I did not absolutely LOVE! It was a salmon special with a tamarind butter sauce. It sounded amazing. It was very dry and bland. I was disappointed, but I will definitely go back!
My friend had the steak salad and it was excellent!!
Our waiter Jim was great! Food was really good as always.
Bella, our server, was nothing short of amazing. The food was delicious and everything was perfect. Still my favorite restaurant in Schaumburg.
Our happy hour got off to a disappointing start with our waiter, Giani. Early on, he came across as inattentive, nonchalant and could seemingly care less about our foursome. He was off to a great start at being our worst waiter ever at Seasons 52 where the waitstaff has always been outstanding. He seemed to be preoccupied with chatting with three ladies at another table in the bar to the point that one of us had to walk over there to ask him to stop by our table. As the evening wore on, he started to become more attentive and accommodating. I really don't know if we won him over or he sensed our dissatisfaction, which we did not try to hide. By the end of the evening, he was every bit of what we have come to expect from the waitstaff at Seasons, but we resented having to be a party to his transformation.
While we think we understand the rationale for the change Happy Hour hours Monday through Friday, we are not pleased with it and will probably not take advantage of it again. It is something that we and many of our friends have experienced often.
One person in our party of 4 was very unhappy with the quality of his meal. The lunch special of 1/2 lobster flatbread was very disappointing. The lobster was missing—chopped so small and sprinkled so sparsely it might as well not have been there. The salad was dry.
We were surprised as we’ve never had a bad meal at Seasons 52. The waiter apologized, as it was his recommendation, and the charge was removed from the bill.
Everyone else enjoyed their meals and it seems this was a one-off occurrence. The staff handled it well and we will definitely go back again.
Our waiter was exemplary. The restaurant was very noisy. There was a change to the cucumer basil smash recipe since I last had one and it was awful.
