Simon Pearce Restaurant
I generally like Simon Pearce and have dined there very many times over the past 20 years. Service and ambiance were still good this visit but the food really seemed to be below standard versus last visits. I say this mostly from a menu perspective (very narrow range of choices, boring preparations) and not a preparation perspective (the food was cooked well). Again, I’ve been a fan of SP for a long time but this was a worrisome visit - hopefully it is not the beginning of a trend.
Simon Pearce Restaurant at Quechee is a must experience restaurant!
We frequent SP often each winter season. Always a very good dining experience. Very good drinks and food. Very friendly staff. We will come back next winter again. Always a very good dining experience
Food is excellent
Great overall experience
The food was excellent as always. Nice evening on a quiet Wednesday.
This is one of our favorite restaurants anywhere. The food is excellent! And the service is top notch! It’s also very special to be served on beautiful Simon Pearce plates, glasses, cups and flatware.
Our go to restaurant for special occasions or for when we want to make an ordinary day extraordinary. The food and staff always meet our expectations: delicious, original, friendly, and a gorgeous setting. Highly recommend.
Everything was perfect from beginning to end! We can't wait to go back again.
Always have good food and experience, this we sat in corner with glass on two sides , a little chilly.
Return visit for New Year’s Day dinner. Excellent service from our waitress Sue... Excellent meals... the tuna was perfectly prepared
Exceeded expectations! Will return whenever back in that area!
Awesome. Great food. Great glassblowing.
Delicious food with great, friendly service and an ambience that is hard to beat. Very enjoyable evening.
Lovely table, service, and delicious food.
Outstanding! Incredible food and service. 10/10 would recommend
No charm . Felt clinical and perfunctory
Amazing place went twice!!
Had our first year anniversary here and everything was perfect. Food was delicious and service was outstanding. I loved that you can do other stuff aside from dining. We went down to see the glassblowing area and the waterfalls.
Christmas Eve family celebration
V good. V attentive. Food was great
It was a busy Christmas Eve - the waitress did not want to be at work. Her body language was such that she was laid back, unhurried, but nonetheless nonchalant. The mushroom fondue appetizer was good, the pork belly was too small for 4 and the waitstaff should have notified the table of the portion size or recommended how many it was made for. Our empty dinner plates sat on the table for at least 10 minutes before being cleared. The chocolate cake with cherries presentation was not appealing and the cake was very dry. The maple creme brulee was tasty, and appeared that it would be.
Food was amazing. Mushroom fondue was so special. The ambiance and service superb!
Excellent restaurant in a great location ! We enjoyed the entire evening!
Food was terrific -- the crispy duck was absolutely amazing! One diner has a list of food allergies -- the staff was very attentive, helpful and willing to make accomodations. All of the food and wine was delicious. The interior of the restaurant can be a little drafty/on the cold side, but was comfortable nonetheless. Highly recommend for a special night out. Thank you!
Winter getaway to quechee
The staff was amazing and our table had a wonderful view
Always nice to eat at Simon Pearce. Our meal on a Monday night and the regular chef was probably off bc the food wasn’t as good as usual. But it was still good.
Simon Pearce never disappoints. My wife and I had an exquisite meal whilst immersed within the warmth and charm of this rustic Vermont setting on a cold winter evening.
A farm to table food experience, set in a charming store environment inspired by glass art, glass glowing, and sustainability. Food quality and presentation was excellent, and artisan presentation a plus. Overall, just a little on the expensive side for what it is.
We love the Simon Pearce Restaurant in Quechee. The menu is very creative, food always prepared perfectly and dishes for a variety of tastes. Highly recommended for special occasions or anytime fine dining.
Never disappointed at Simon Pearce. The salmon special was perfectly prepared, very mild. The tenderloin was definitely prime and could be cut with a fork. Bread crusty and just baked—-my experience across the board is that if the bread before the meal is lousy, the meal will almost certainly be disappointing. We didn’t do dessert this time, but they’ve had some to die for in the past. Staff attentive, knowledgeable and courteous. Did a little shopping for hand-blown glassware while we were there as well.
Beautiful setting: wonderfully comfortable ambience; our table was directly over the waterfall giveing us a magnificent view. Appetizers were fantastic, both the salad with warm goat cheese and the pork belly. Crispy duck and yellowfin tuna were prepared perfectly. Coffee was fresh and rich; Irish coffee was delicious. Finally, Nick did a great job: very professional and friendly.
Great location with a wonderful view of the waterfall. My duck confit was excellent as was my wife’s soup and her chicken breast was v good as was my cod. Good wines and great service. An ideal location for any special occasion
Delightful Dinner ~ Server was outstanding and the ambience was exactly as we hoped. Enjoyed wine at the bar pre-dinner and also loved the feel there.
Fantastic food and service
Not enough variety on menu. Only two beef items and one had a very salty olive sauce.
Ended up with chicken which I eat most days at home.
I had wasabi coated tuna: wonderful, attractive, and delicious
My wife had the duck preparation. She loved the delicious and cam with a wonderful sauce..
Well worth the drive to get here
