We enjoyed the evening. A couple of points...the service was slow but the server was apologetic and fixed the problems. The entrees were slow in coming out and when he brought the desserts, he didn't bring clean silverware and had to go back and get some. But, he did everything with a smile. The other point, the singer could have turned the volume down a little.
The Vito zatto Show Entertainment was wonderful
The food is always excellent, from the soup and salad to the main dishes and pizza. The gnocchi and eight finger cavatelli are our favorite dishes. The service is good and the atmosphere is warm and inviting.
I haven’t been to Suparossa in over a year. We brought my parents here for dinner. I was a little bit leery because of the very low ratings. Personally, after dining here tonight, I don’t understand why the ratings are so low. We had a fabulous meal. The four of us started out sharing the grilled calamari which was light and not greasy. We all enjoyed our entrees. The only glitch of all the entrées we had was that my mom‘s chicken Vesuvio was a chicken breast and not bone in as requested. The restaurant immediately made her entrée correctly as they make it to order. Unfortunately, they rushed the order to get it to her and the skin was not crispy it was cooked very lightly. Other than that, the meal was fantastic. My husband loved his lasagna and my branzino was out of this world. I will definitely come back and if we’re with my parents and ordering chicken Vesuvio, we’ll make sure we’re very clear on ordering the bone in and not the breast. The manager Nick is very personable and attentive to his customers. The restaurant itself is large and there’s a bar area upfront separate from the restaurant. There’s also a cute little table that’s off to the side that’s private. We’ve also had parties here in the past and they’ve done a great job. I like that you can hear the conversation at your table as it’s not overly loud. I’ll definitely be back.
Food was very tasty. Good wine/beverage menu. Had live music Friday nights which was super.
Great food, friendly and humorous waiter. Nice and quiet in there with subtle lighting. We were not greeted right away upon entering; host greeted us a few minutes later but was nice.
This place is a must visit. I've never had a bad experience here. Food is great and the service is a plus. Never have to wait. Price is fair and well worth a try!
The food was delicious in the Vito zatto show was terrific
Food was very good. Service was also very good, but they are obviously rebuilding their staff. We would definitively be returning.
Ignored upon entering so staff could finish personal conversation.
Server rushed us to order when we made it clear we weren’t ready.
Placed a Togo order, order was forgotten by server and took about 30 extra mins after bill had been paid. We had to go inquire about it so we could leave.
Server literally stood there watching and waiting while I signed bill and added tip, unacceptable behavior for any tipped position.
The food was delicious I had the appetizer oreganata and meatball and the cheese and tomatoes and the bread and garlic pressed garlic oil and then the Vito Show Entertainment was fabulous comedy and song
Disappointed that there were some dinner menu items that were unavailable . Also fruit was not available but was on the menu.
Great lasagna, delicious pizza and attentive wait staff. We will return soon to try other menu options.
Love the food and the quietness so that our party of 6 could all talk easily without shouting.
Server was not knowledgeable, prompt, or otherwise attentive. Quality of drinks was extremely poor and very overpriced. Need a decent bartender that knows how to make drinks other than pour wine. Went with friends and we were all equally disappointed!
Everything was wonderful. The food was great and the service was terrific. We love it because it is quiet and the music is so appropriate. This has become one of our new favorite places.
The food is very good and the service is excellent. We have never been there when it has been very busy, therefore, is quiet which we like. Have not been there on an entertainment night so am sure it is busier then. Highly recommend this restaurant. It has become a new favorite for us.
Food was amazing and the service was very attentive. Our waitress went above and beyond.
We had a family dinner for high school graduation. We had two last minute guests and they quickly made the adjust. The food was delicious!
Fun filled evening with family and friends.
Dining experience was exceptional. Food was very delicious. Service was above board and company was the best ever. Thank you.
Great dinner and great service from Kenny!
Our waiter (young with braces and glasses) was very inexperienced. He came back to the table multiple times to clarify our orders. He got our wine and one meal order wrong. He promised us a re do on the order and then the manger came over to tell us it couldn't be redone. We only received 5 dollars off the orser
It was great—from service to food and drinks. Baked clams were superb; then salad or soup—homemade; and finally special halibut that had so many wonderful flavors. Server was attentive but knew we didn’t want to rush, so he accommodated us accordingly. There was a good crowd but noise level was still great for conversation. Really had a wonderful evening!
We had an early dinner before a show. The waitstaff were attentive and friendly. We could actually hear each other over our meal. And the food was very good. Lovely side salads with our entrees. We’ll be back.
Food and service was good will be going there again.
What happened Superosa ? You use to be the best Italian restaurant around. I loved pulling up to the building with the garlic wafting in the air. Today no garlic. The waiter was great as usual but the food... where is the Italian flavor. Where is the garlic. I would always give a grade of A+ but today a dismal B at best. Was very disappointed.
The food was terrible. My chickrn vesuvio was dried out, overcooked and old. It was 9 p.m. but that is no excuse. I sent it back for garlic and oil pasta which was also overcooked but marginally better than the chicken. My husband's steak sandwich was dried out and greasy. Service was good, but we will not be back. It's a shame because we were there a couple of years ago and ot was excellent.
Scott, our waiter, was wonderful. He knew the menu and had some great recommendations.
Food was just ok service was great atmosphere was ok . overcooked the calamari
Food and service were excellent. Was there for lunch with friends. Nicely decorated for Christmas. Quiet because empty.
Service was superior! Food was great. We were a party of four and were treated like royalty!
Everything we had was delicious from the Chicken Marsala & Chicken Parm. Try the mozzarella appetizer it's to die for. Great portions
Great server and pizza! The singer was way too loud for the dining room though
Our food was excellent! I would highly recommend!
Our waiter was ok. Not sure if he was new or or not hostess and front desk were very attentive and very nice coming and leaving
Restaurant is not far from my house a few towns over and I always thought it was too upscale so I never tried it. My gf wanted to try it for her birthday dinner so glad we did there was 4 in group we all loved our meals !! Can’t wait to have dinner there again
This is our favorite go to Spot after work
Early Friday evening reservation. Several couples on "date nights" (restaurant near a movie theater). The restaurant has a party room, but instead of requiring its use, allowed a large child's birthday party to use half of dining room. Basically, deafening. We had to yell at our servers and each other to be heard. Look, 7-year olds are fine; birthday parties are fine; but for the love of Mike, put them in the party room -- especially on a Friday evening! We were told that the party group felt that the party room cost was too high. Solution: reduce the price on the party room because 99% of the other diners will now not come back. This is called being your own worst enemy. The only reason for not giving a 1 star review was the efforts of our waiter to apologize and attempt to make things better with a comped dessert.
