Ted's Bulletin - Reston
Fun outing with great alcoholic and nonalcoholic drinks, good food, and excellent service.
I tried their peanut butter banana milkshake and got a mild allergic reaction. A few hours later my throat started swelling and I was rushed to the hospital by ambulance. I am severely allergic to melon and I am wondering if they cut all their fruits with the same knife or cross contaminated their food. I will not be coming back. Their food almost killed me.
Great food and company
Very poor service and extremely noisy! Expensive too.
Our server was fantastic!!! We included two teenage girls with lots of special requests. He was GREAT.
Overpriced and less than tasty breakfast. Could find better almost anywhere else. Ted Tarts we're good as always.
The waiter was great. Quick and courteous. Food was great as always. Cool atmosphere.
I order a dish of sword fish which in the menu sounded great. the fish was extremely salty and the meat soggy. the fish came with cauliflower, which was also too salty.
A breakfast must! Love the avocado toast! Great place to meet up with friends
Ted's was a great place for breakfast before going to the airport. A wide variety. The only complaint was the coffee didn't taste good. We told our server who graciously took it off the bill.
Everything was great! We had a great family diner.
I have to admit being addicted to Ted’s. Whether I’m eating alone at the bar or enjoying the company of friends, I’m always able to find excellent, appealing meals, in a great family spot.
Portion of Hash Browns was disappointingly small. Bacon not very good. Eggs were Over Easy, but came with crispy edges. Toast was cold. Server great.
Maybe execution from Kitchen was lacking ..... restaurant was not very busy. Appreciated parking validation.
Will return to this establishment, but perhaps not this location.
Perfect over easy egg!
Love this place
Awesome food and great value, especially for brunch! Really fast service and quick turnaround time for receiving our food after placing our order. Highly recommend!
Living very close to this restaurant, I was very excited to get it. Unfortunately, I was terribly underwhelmed. Service was good to start but declined as problems arose. Our appetizers were ok but uninspired and lackluster. One entree came out incorrectly and the other was cold. A place that serves breakfast all day should not be serving cold eggs, sausage and and grits. We were also brought still Rosé when we ordered sparking. The manager apologized and removed the cold entree from our check. The server never acknowledged nor apologized for the missteps. Definitely a few coaching opportunities here.
Thanks to our server Nick, who made our brunch all the more entertaining!
Generally I enjoy Ted’s and it is one of my favorites around town but this visit was a shambles. The food was good but the service outside was inefficient. The waitress took a long time to arrive and the time between return visits was too long. When our food arrived we didn’t have silverware and so it took time to receive that. And when we decided on dessert it took three tries to bring us menus. So they need a few more waiters for the outside tables to cover things. I’ll go back but I hope for more attentive service.
The tables of 4 outside could use just a bit more separation.
Neat place in Reston, great food, wait staff was helpful and courteous.
Awesome food and service! Prompt service and courteous staff.
Great food, but loud and lots of large tables and so folks in smaller tables were squeezed in between these bigger parties so we ended up moving our table and sitting at bar. Otherwise, great!
Let me start with the fact that this was not my first visit. The food was great as always but the service was the opposite. Had to wait for 30 mins to get a drink and then another 20 mins after that to place our order for food. The place was not packed so it does not explain the wait. Also we had to ask the waiter multiple times for our tarts before they arrived on our table cold. Was not the best experience I was looking forward to for a Mother's Day dinner.
Everything about this restaurant is awesome! Do yourself a favor and try it out!
The server was either very bad or very new. Margarita arrived looking like soda water and tasted horrible. I took it to the bar myself because our server was nowhere to be found. Bartender looked at it like nothing was wrong with it, and then I saw him look up the ingredients for a margarita when he went to re-make it. Booth seats are ripped and shabby. Food was ok. This place used to be great. Not sure what's going on recently.
Dewayne was a wonderful server and it was a special Mother’s Day kick off to the whole day!
Food portion comes much less than before. Add slices of avocado can cost you $2, but they only give you 1/4 of the avocado.
always friendly service and reliable quality food!
First time we've visited! We had a reservation for 6 at 11am on Saturday - table was ready within a few minutes - no issues. Service was fast and friendly. Food was excellent. Can't believe we've been missing this gem.
Super fast service. Food a good value. Upscale diner something for everyone. Vegetarian options. Good bloody mary.
Everything was fine, but only the el Diablo cocktail was great. Ordered the blooming mushroom (which was gluten free, yay!), red kale salad, and veggie risotto (which had only rice and mushrooms, but I love mushrooms and was happy). All were tasty enough but for this price point, presentation could have been better... a little parsley or lemon on the risotto, more neatly salad elements, etc. Also they were out of gluten free pasta that day, so maybe call ahead if that is critical for you.
Breakfast food wasn’t very good. Nice place overall.
Our service was a bit off this time - I wanted some hot sauce with my meal, but never managed to catch a server's eye until they came to take the empty plates off our table. Our server never came over to see how our food was. Otherwise everything was great as usual.
Great breakfast, every time.
