Sat at a table in the bar Lots of action and fun! Clark our waiter and his team were excellent! Great food Also-we had tickets for the State Theatre and they held onto our leftovers in their cooler and we picked them up after the show! Amazing!

The only complaint we would have is that there was only 2 of us on Thanksgiving. We both ordered the turkey dinner they brought 1 out 5 minutes after we ordered and then asked if we were both sharing the one turkey dinner and we said no and then 5 minutes later they came out with the other. Half way through dinner we had to ask the waitress for the bread. Would have been nice if we would have had time to enjoy a piece of bread first and then have both our dinners served at the same time. It felt a little rushed.

We’re not much of a steak family and I have never been to Capital Grille before but we decided to partake as it was one of the few restaurants open Thanksgiving Day. Wow! Fantastic food——from the crab cakes, lobster Mac and cheese to the fish dishes, and coconut cream pie—-all was superb, really a step up. And the service too, was warm, welcoming and fastidious. Prices to match but it was well worth it to spend a nice afternoon with family. Hell yeah, I’d go back.

Went to the Capital Grille for a belated birthday dinner for my husband who had never been to one. Truly outstanding experience from beginning to end. I had a reservation for four and we were all seated and at our table in less than 10 min. Luis, our server was the most charming and wonderful server I have had in a very long time. And all I can say about the meal we had - fanfreakingtastic! The cup of lobster bisque soup I had literally had a 6oz lobster in it. The sides were as good as anything my grandma ever made, the porcini ribeye I had was one of the top steaks I’ve had. And to top it all off, Luis brought a dessert for my husband and I to share, and brought one for our guests to share too. I will be going back and cannot wait to do so. Best places for a steak in Minneapolis are Murray’s, Manny’s, and The Capital Grille!

Food has not failed us yet. Would love smaller portions and a more casual variety for pre - and post show nibbles. Service still tends to be slower than we would like, but I understand it's hard times

Absolutely outstanding experience from beginning to end. We were a small group of friends. Three of us. From the greeting at the front entry, to our waiter and assistant waiter. All were fully attentive, kind, and helpful. Ordered the filet mignon, cooked medium rare. Very flavorful and fresh tasting. Cooked to order perfectly. Tried a sliver of my dinning mate’s sea bass. It was incredibly fresh and delicious. Appetizer: got the Field Greens Salad. Comes with parmesan vinaigrette. This one is consistently good. Fresh lettuce. Wine: ordered the Walt, Pinot noir. Paired excellently with the steak and it was light enough to pair with the fish. Excellent recommendation. 5/5 is 100% deserved for this experience. Very happy!

Our experience was superb once again, until after the show we attended at the State Theater. Wow, shocked and very disappointed with the changes. 1. Free valet now $12 2. Inside door locked from theater to restaurant after the show requiring us to go outside (we never wear coats because we have never had to be outside like this), around the building. 3. Not allowed inside to pick up our leftovers. Met curtly at the door asked our name and eventually handed our leftovers through the door. 4. Required to walk down to the corner to wait in the wet and cold for our valeted car vs previously waiting inside Cap Grille. Such a beautiful and consistent experience from arrival through dinner. Cheap, rude and inconvenient after show and car pick up! Other option we will try going forward.

Our first time dining at The Capital Grille in Minneapolis, was absolutely heavenly. In comparison to two Florida locations I've previously visited, this Minneapolis location is unequivocally top tier. The service, provided by the lovely Angie, was welcoming, warm and overall divine. We loved the complimentary anniversary "decor" on the table, the celebratory bubbles, and of course, the quality and love poured into the meals we enjoyed. I'll be savoring the Peppercorn-crusted Ribeye for days to come and I'm already dreaming about our next visit here. 100000/10!

Great culinary experience. Ryan R was a fabulous server, and we will ask for him in the future. Delicious Kona prepared tenderloin (Ryan recommended) and sides of Sam’s potatoes and brussel sprouts. Nice wine list that paired well with our meal.

The Capital made a special accommodation work for our group following a Vikings game, which was much appreciated. The entire staff was phenomenal, but our server, Erin, went above and beyond for us. Erin is extremely knowledgeable and patient. That, topped off with an EXCELLENT meal made our trip to Capital Grille an amazing experience. Thank you!
