The Dead Fish
It was my granddaughters 7th birthday. Even with the Covid -19 fiasco the staff was so inviting and attentive.
And, my Bloody Mary was fantastic!
The crab salad didn't have much crab on it. The bread is great.
We had an outstanding experience. The ambiance was very nice I enjoyed looking at the pictures and the decorations around the restaurant. The staff was very nice and knowledgeable. I do think you should offer a fish/shrimp chip combo or offer a side of shrimp. But the food was very good and probably the best melted butter I have ever had. We were too full to get dessert so maybe next time we will share and get dessert.
The food was great!! Will definitely be going back for the crab bisque! Didn’t think the bread was as sensational as everyone else seems to think though. It was bad, it just didn’t knock my socks off. Portions are large if you want to share them.
Waitress and service were A+ food was good also. Parking was only negative!!
Good food, reasonable prices, nice staff, beautiful restaurant
I LOVE THE DEAD FISH. I GO OFTEN AND IT'S ALWAYS GOOD.
Fast and friendly service. Our experience was great our waitress was fast, kind, friendly and curious.
The food & drinks were excellent! Unfortunately our server had no personality, was not friendly & did not engage with us in any way
Made reservations and had a horrible seat, ruined Everything about it. Won’t be returning.
Service was poor. Never came back till the end to fill up water glasses. Sea bass had no flavor
While visiting the area I had the pleasure of dining at the Dead Fish with two old friends from Brentwood CA. The food and service were excellent especially the Branzino. Highly recommended.
Always enjoy the ambiance and friendly atmosphere at The Dead Fish. My favorite dish is the Bassa fish with veggies and grains. The bread is delicious and a must! Brought a friend here for her birthday and the candelabra they bring out is so fun. The dessert was great and perfect portion for two to share. 👍👍
Always a great place for dining with friends that come to town. Thanks!
The filet mignon was amazing!!! I would recommend all my friends
Birthday dinner with friends. Server was fantastic
Service was excellent our waitress was wonderful and very accommodating when we wanted to move our dessert to outside everything was perfect… My birthday dinner was outstanding
Been there many times,
The service was good the food was excellent!
Food has gone from really good to not so special. I can’t believe what they charge for
The Dead Fish is a very popular restaurant with a fantastic view and great ambience. Most of the time, the food is incredibly good. The only down side is that, when ordering the sizzling iron platters, the mussels are sometimes fresh and sometimes not. They lack in consistency regarding the freshness of the mussels. Other than that, the rest of their food is very good.
The food had no flavor at all I was so disappointed and it was my first time there
We always come here for family get together and that’s it - family! Nowhere we go to.
Thank you for the excellent service and great food!
We have been dinning at Dead Fish for many years the crab Crostini was too salty, the Beet salad was just okay, the DeadFish seafood stew was just okay hardly any crab. Bathroom were dirty and stinky with paper all over. Our server was pleasant. But Overall this was not our best experience.
We enjoyed our meal at Dead Fish. It is a very lively atmosphere and the menu has lots of good and varied options to choose from. Our server was awesome - warm, friendly and attentive to our needs to the right degree. We never felt rushed, even though there were lots of people there. We also very much appreciated that there was no corkage fee, since my husband makes wine and we brought a bottle of his to enjoy with our party.
We went to Dead Fish for my husband’s birthday and had an amazing time. I ordered prime rib and he order prime rib with a whole crab. Everything was delicious. We looked around at what others ordered and asked them what their dishes were so we knew what to try the next time. Parking can be a problem once their parking lots and overflow lots are full. Your option is to park up the residential hill and make the steep trek up after eating.
The food is always superb and the service for the most part is good. The service is a hit and miss. Sometimes it is great but sometimes it is not great.
The food is always good especially the baked Garlic Crab. Highly recommend.
Enjoyed the meal and window seats.
Great at first but it became very noisy. The service went from fast to almost stagnant. Plus the waitress tried to pocket a $50 certificate. If we hadn’t seen it was missing she would have gotten away with it. To bad because we use to like coming there...!
Food is really good, price is worth it. Make a reservation because it’s always packed.
Food was great but service just so-so. Our server stared at his phone while taking our order... so maybe he was entering our order but a little eye contact and interest in us would have been nice. He had to ask us twice to get it right.
It didn’t get better. We were next to the server station so ambiance was not as nice as could be. We would have been happier at the bar.
We were able to be seated right away! The food was amazing and the service was excellent. We didn’t wait long for our food at all. It was nieces birthday. They brought her cake and candles and sang to her. Wonderful evening.
Our waiter was extremely slow and rude.We sat outside and the curtains were broken so it was extremely windy.
Had never been and it was amazing! Food was great service was wonderful
The bread was the best ever
I loved my meal and drink
The bar is a fun place to hangout
I love this spot to meet up with friends for weekend brunch! The service is impeccable, the menu is varied, the rolls are freshly baked, and the quality of the food is consistently great every time. The decor and ambiance are just perfect for a restaurant overlooking the water. It gets busy around noon so we like to arrive right at 11am for a meal and then move to the bar to chat and have drinks until late afternoon. The bar has such an amazing view and there is even outdoor seating for nice days. There always seems to be enough seating despite how busy it gets and service at the bar is prompt and courteous. The drinks are great, I love their Hot to Trout Prosecco mimosa, it's made with just the right amount of blood orange juice.
Loved the atmosphere, it was very busy when we went so I recommend making a reservation. Food was really good but on the pricey side for sure. I went with my fiance and dad, and it was very nice.
It was my mother’s 94th bday and we usually come about 4-5 times/year. But we had reservations and we had to wait 45 mins to be seated. It took about 10-12 mins for our server to come by and he barely stopped by to check on us. Food was great as usual. It came hot, tasty and a good portion. It
Seemed excessively loud this time and we had to yell across our table to each other. It’s usually a much better experience but fell short this time
Myself and my family enjoyed ourselves. We will definitely be back.
Fun place with a great view! the food was good though the portion of crab in the crab louie was disappointing. Excellent service though! Great cocktails also.
