Très belle ambiance, bonne cuisson, bon goût beau resto bref... superbe place à aller. Great food/ service with an honest price listing...one of the best resto in Ottawa!

Overall wonderful evening, the food and service was excellent. The only thing that I feel could be changed is the playlist. Being in such an elegant restaurant I would much rather hear smooth jazz type music instead of upbeat Justin Bieber singing at me lol.

We love going to Tosca any chance we get. They treat you like family. Cheers to everyone for a wonderful birthday dining experience.

Nice to see smelt on the menu, they were very good. Salmon as well was good, veal chop leaved a bit to be desired given the price. Waiter was attentive to the wine but think he was pushing the sale of another bottle, aside from that barely saw him.

We had a birthday dinner at this place but our server Gotti is too lazy to remake the new drinks because we order 2 ceaser drinks but he served those drinks without celery rim. I mentioned to my server but he refused to remake rather he brought celery on side plate that’s very disappointing . My wife ask him about my birthday for candles we ordered dessert but he didn’t provide any candle they just wrote on the plate which is can’t even read ... i will never go this place ... I thought we will get good service coz reserved the table and also this covid time they should make us good service and good food than we could come there in future....we are trying to help restaurant & service industry due covid 19 situation .. Food tasteless I ordered veal which is just came almost cold soggy no taste ... I asked server gotti what kind vegetable come with it he seems like don’t know... he answer me i think pepper cauliflower i don’t know exactly... they should be more professional... we go there to celebrate our birthday, anniversary so expect good food & good service, we go there to spend some money to have good night out , but server gotti seems like dont wanna make money his rushing us even we still have wine left he puts bill on the table & in 5 minutes after come with credit card machine to make us pay seems like we came to dinner this is hilarious....ok now i know about this place because our first night out for my birthday it’s horrible they will lose customer because this kind of unprofessional service... its my bad experience..

Outstanding service and quality of food, with great selection of wines. The Penne Fortunato was delicious, and struck the right balance between zesty and spicy. Very fresh and perfectly prepared. Very attentive staff. I've been a happy diner at Tosca for many years now and it is my preferred choice for Italian fare downtown.

Great food, good service. Only disappointment was that a number of the wines on the menu were not available

Really nice atmosphere with friendly service. Food was amazing and fairly priced. At first I was seated by the washrooms and the door to the kitchen so it was loud but I asked to move and they accommodated. Will definitely go again. Would recommend the veal with shrimp in the cognac and peppercorn sauce for sure.

The three of us went for a meal during Covid so we were cautious. We enjoyed our meals although the Lasagna could have been a bigger portion for the orice

This night, the Chef was clearly out of his mind. The food was horrible. They served us a "soup of the day", it's not ajoke, it tasted like a Lipton Soup Base. THe Main course was so-so too. That's strange, because this restaurant have a very good note on the web, but like I said, this night was a nightmare in the kitchen.

We only had the appetizers so cannot comment overall. The escargot was delicious, as was the shrimp. However, we were disappointed with the calamari. It was chewy and rubbery and did not taste fresh. It tasted as though it came from a packet.

We do want to try their main courses though so we can get an overall opinion.

We had an amazing evening celebrating my bf’s birthday. The restaurant were great in keeping notes on all my food allergies as well as surprising us with dessert on the house. The service we received could not have been more perfect. The food was excellent and no complaints on the scotch either. My bf and I are sure to make this on are come back and visit list when we visit Ottawa again. Thank you for being part of our magical evening.

Food could have used more flavour. Music did not fit the atmosphere. Everything else was amazing.

We had a colleague birthday lunch celebrated there . All 14 of us really appreciated the food and ambiance of this restaurant. However, it took about and hour to get our plates which was decieving to say the least.

I was visiting Ottawa for the weekend from Barrie On and we were looking for an authentic Italian food with a modern flair and found it on trip advisor. Everything was terrific right down to our waiter. He did everything to ensure we were more than satisfied with the service and the food!!

Inattentive service, food was average, not sure what the hype is about in the ratings. We went by open table ratings, average experience, nothing memorable.

Incredibly bad service and seating. The waiter was rarely at our table and despite a reservation and empty tables elsewhere they seated us in the middle of an aisle where waiters continuously bumped our elbows spilling our food. Also apparently pop refills aren’t free which they don’t tell u till agter

There were 30+ people waiting in the lobby for reservations on Valentine’s Day. We waited for 25 minutes and never got seated. We ended up going to a different restaurant. Needs better management.

They severely overbooked the restaurant after waiting for a while, they sat us in a crowded booth next to the door.

I wouldn’t go on Valentines day again, but I would definitely go during a regular week evening again as I’m sure it’s less busy

Service was very fast. Knowledgeable wine advice. Lasagne and cannelloni were superb.

Small portions and large prices. Four shrimp cocktail was 19. No, they were not of the giant tiger variety.

Service was extremely fast and waitress was polite and professional. Veal was a little overcooked, but overall it was good.
