Trapezaria

Our go to Greek restaurant. And we drive from DC and fight traffic on the Pike, so that's saying a lot. Food is plentiful, and consistently great. Only bumps were the amateur bartender, and my dish delivered lukewarm. Nevertheless, we'll return.
The food is great and the staff is wonderful.
Always delicious. My husband and I loved the new dinner buffet. Great variety, selections and price.
Quiet comfortable place. Very nice server. Generous portions, good quality food. The grilled octopus was outstanding.
The Arni Youvetsi had mostly bones and little meat. When I complained they give me a 15% discount! Usually the food is very good. My wife had the sampler which was very good.
Great ambience, great service!
The food was great and Nobby the manager. Went out of the way to make us comfortable. Great Baklava. Will be returning soon
Celebrated my Fathers Bday! It was amazing.
Food was plentiful and fresh but it wasn’t extraordinary. Staff was nice but not overly gracious. We walked in and no one came to seat us. Restaurant was very loud.
Perfect atmosphere
Great service. Food not hot. Lamb was only fair.
All the food I tried were amazing. My favorite was the pork kabobs, my least favorite was the pork sausage.
They definitely had varieties of food to choose from. I also like their made to order pancake station and omelette station. I tried their bottomless $5 mimosa but I felt it was forgotten because it was only refilled twice.
The staff were friendly but they weren't as attentive. I don't think we were ignored but we definitely felt like we were left alone and had to catch someone's attention to get some service.
Other than that....my experience was great and for their affordable brunch price...I will definitely go back again.
The food was fine(not great) but the service was truly lacking.
The owners were “owners” and not interested in making costumers feel welcome. Waiters didn’t know the names of the dishes and the staff haven’t been properly trained.
One time was enough.
Was sunday night so few people around but the food was very very good. The octopus was amazing
Love this place! Lamb chops are the best!
Love the grilled specialities. The fish was excellent, as was the lamb and chicken.
Service was terrible. Waiter didn't check on us at all. Food was expensive but good.
Nice environment but gosh the food was plain awful. Seemed like my old high school cafeteria with the soggy over cooked green beans etc.
First must point out our server was GREAT! She was lovely and the food was brought to us promptly. But this visit to Trapezaria was very disappointing. Have been there more than a dozen times over the past five years and we used to really enjoy the food. This time is was a big let down. The quality of the food has greatly diminished. Fish was not as fresh and flavorful, the roasted potatoes were cold and had been cooked long ago, and the string beans seemed waxy and not cooked enough. They forgot to peel the cucumbers, and the pita was warm but soggy. Sorry Trapezaria, we used to be big fans of your restaurant. Perhaps the management and the chef have left!
The food was sooo good. I had grilled octopus with potatoes in a lemon sauce. Really tender, but not squishy. I loved ot and had leftovers for lunch. It came with a generous salad that had best feta I can ever remember having. Husband had calamari with a sauce. He was not anxious to share.
Galaktobourico ? was delicious.
The food is great, especially the Greek and grilled specialties. Service is fantastic. Tatiana, George, and Tony always make us feel welcome.
I love the look and feel of this restaurant, especially sitting by the big windows, and I love their food. But on this trip the service was irritating. They obviously want everyone to have their lunch buffet, and were reluctant to bring us lunch menus, which we asked for, along with a drinks menu. Finally the waiter slapped down lunch menus, saying Let me know if you want something to drink besides water, and walked away. No drinks menu, so we had to call him back, got the menu, and finally were able to order wine/beer. We did have the buffet, which is a lot of food for the price ($14.95), including my favorite Imam Bayildi and several vegetables and a nice Greek salad. We were given a basket of spanakopita with no explanation, which was complimentary and good. Although the beginning of our lunch had an irritating edge—as if the waiter were in a bad mood—we were left in peace to linger over our meal at the end. I’d also mention that the back entrance from the parking lot is flat and easy to use if the front steps are a problem.
Excellent experience overall. Only real downside was water refills were few and far between, which is a majority of the service at a buffet.
Brunch had very few breakfast choices, but the lunch choices were excellent as were the few breakfast choices. Lamb was amazing.
Enjoyed the food very much. The air conditioner was a little noisy and had to talk over it.
The biggest problem with our meal was the noise and wind created when the air conditioning kicked in, which was frequently. It made the meal considerably less pleasant since conversation was more difficult and it became breezy and cool. Th food was good and plentiful and the service reasonably attentive.
We are frequent diners at Trapezaria. Our house guest chose dinner here on Saturday. We learned that there have been some management changes, which have resulted in menu changes. We dined on small plates from the Mezze selection, together with dips and a delicious salad. Our dinner was completed with plenty of pita and a dessert we took home. Perfect Saturday evening dinner that we would highly recommend. Can't wait to go back.
Great brunch with lots of choices. Friendly staff and relaxed environment.
Very nice evening celebrating the kickoff of Memorial Day weekend. We reserved a table outside through Open Table but when we arrived they had nothing left. We had to wait just a little bit for someone to finish up but we ordered drinks at the bar. When we went to go settle the tab they said that round was on them to make up for our wait. Food was very good and service was very hospitable. Everything was great. We’ll be back again.
Love this brunch, but I was shocked to make the reservation on one table and nothing was written or said online or in the restaurant that they automatically added 20% gratuity for a party of 7 for buffet brunch. I would have liked to be told before, from one table as well as restaurant. I would have left 20% but would like to be given a choice.
Definitely phoning it in. While the website showed a normal menu (reason we chose it), we arrived to find a buffet and a price-fixed set menu. Buffet was $30/head for dishes that usually sell for $15-18, price fixed was batch-prepped dishes slammed on plates with little effort. Food was mediocre, server was someone's family member just pitching in, and the whole experience was a miserable way to drop $300 on a $130 meal.
Mother’s Day dinner. We made a reservation a few days in advance hoping to order off the regular menu. Without warning they changed it to a special menu with a buffet and a fixed price option. Half of our party is pescatarian and there were very few good options.
The staff was friendly and trying hard but the quality and variety of the food and the ambience were mediocre. I was hoping for more but the place had the general quality of a casual Greek diner rather than a nice restaurant.
Great food and service! Very welcoming. Mother's Day brunch was very good! Lots of food options! Food was very fresh! They even had an omelette station. They offered $5 bottomless mimosa. I would definitely go back and eat there again.
Traditional Greek dishes were excellent, seafood kabob special was good but under seasoned.
The restaurant is beautiful, atmosphere is lively.
Food was absolutely delicious! Everything that was served was attractive as well
The service was fine and the restaurant was not overly noisy, which is hard to find these days. However, the food was somewhat disappointing. Part of the problem is that the menu is inaccurate. The sides that were listed were not the same ones that were available, and it was just by chance that we were told this. It's not totally unreasonable that the menu gets somewhat out of date. However, the list of specials for the evening was also inaccurate. I ordered the stuffed squid, which was described as grilled squid stuffed with spinach and feta. Well, there was barely any feta in it but it was full of mushrooms, which I can't eat, and onions as well. My son ordered steak medium rare and it was deep purple throughout. Might expect this in France, but not in the US. He asked to have it cooked further and it still was not really medium rare. The rice pilaf was rather gummy. I will say however, the stewed green beans were rather good and my wife and daughter got lamb, which they liked and was cooked appropriately.
The food is great. Love the fish dishes and Greek specialties. Love the service from Tatiana, George, and Tony too.
Excellent, authentic food
Horrible experience for “brunch”. The mimosas were horrid, the food dry and tasteless (it’s shouldn’t be that hard to cook bacon) and the service was the worst I’ve experienced in quite some time. An embarrassing effort.
great service, fantastic food and very nice atmosphere! can't wait to go back
We decided to visit after hearing great feedback from my boss. We made our reservation for 2 on a Saturday evening in honor of my BF's Birthday. We were warmly greeted, seated quickly and everything we ordered from the drinks, to the appetizers to the entrees arrived fast! Our server, Olga was the best! She was honest and very kind. Not to mention she was clearly impressed that we knew how to pronounce everything on the menu (we're a well traveled couple), but moreover, she was more than willing to answer any questions her guests had. I'm so glad we took her advice & ordered the dinner specials as our entrees. Pork tenderloin kebob & Seafood kebob did not disappoint! We recieved more than our money's worth and left the establishment very satisfied. My BF & I agreed that Trapezaria is amazing & is so much better than Mykonos. We'll definitely be back!
