Great Sunday brunch!!!
Great place, good food. We had the Apatizer artichoke francais (B-). My Son ordered the Penne ala Vodka, A++ it waa served as is, he wished he had asked for a bit more spice yet I thought it tasted fantastic. My wife has the Chicken Francais (B+). I ordered fish, it was fresh and spiced perfectly. Tge service here was at times overwhelming, usually not a bad thibg yet out waitress was seasoned" yet did not allow for a tasting when pooring the bottle of wine we ordered and she a bit abrupt.....understaffed would be the word of the night, as she had a shadow in training all night and the only other people we saw in the painted wall dining room was 2 water servers...who seemed preoccupied in only filling water glasses....better training needed here...with the younger staff. In all, great first time experience, and whenever this Covid 19!goes by we will be back1!!!!
Delicious food & attentive service. Enjoyed the atmosphere and the guitarist.
Great entertainment, friendly and professional staff
Little gem tucked away! Food is delicious. Service spot on. We went for a 6:00 reservation on a Saturday. We brought another couple who had not been before and they loved it! My only regret was the musician playing that night did not make it into our dinning area, so we did not get to see him perform, after over 2 hours of being there. When we were there on a previous Saturday around the same time frame, the performer was actively in our area and it was great fun!
We loved the relaxed feeling of this place. The service was excellent and the waitress was very helpful.
The food was prepared well and was served in a timely manner. We definitely will be back.
Delicious food, great atmosphere, excellent service. We ate dinner and had drinks at the bar and really enjoyed the live music. Highly recommended!
It took almost 2 hours to get our food. We were told there were two big parties holding up everyone else’s food. A lot of unhappy people dining there that evening. Plus the noise level was too much. Cannot have someone yelling on a microphone in such a small space. Stick to soft music
The restaurant wasn’t overly crowded so it was pretty quiet in the main dining room. The food was excellent as always, the staff is very warm and welcoming. We will be repeat visitors without question. Would highly recommend anyone who loves brunch check this place out. The only thing that could make it better is if they add pancakes and French toast to the menu! We will be trying it out for dinner next!
This was our second visit. We came back because the food and service were wonderful the first time. Although it was a very busy Saturday night we were promptly seated. It was clear there was no quiet corner, although we got the best one because we asked. Pasta took us three meals to finish, still delicious on the third day. Reservations needed on weekends and later in the week.
Great service, food and entertainment (Joe Cariglia)!
This is very good because of the sauces that accompanied our meals. The brown sauce on the veal chop was a deep brown and rich. The sauce with the ossobuco was not. It was light.
The French Onion soup was not ordinary. The stock was sweet and sour and rich.
Our server knew the wine list and made an excellent recommendation.
The cannoli was sweet and crispy.
Keep up the wonderful work. Everyone was pleasant, courtious, attentive and polite.
Food was splendid and authentic...true to Italy.
Parking was horrible in small common lot, food came out staggered and slow, and mediocre in taste/portion. Overpriced.
The food was fantastic and very authentic. The veal Alla Mamma Flora was delicious. The atmosphere was lively and fun with a DJ playing old Italian favorites. The bar was very lively and you could tell there was a regular crowd but everyone was very friendly and nice. Our waitress was new and not the best but the food made up for it. They have a parking lot but also a valet parking service. Well worth a visit!
Always great food, service and entertainment. They never disappoint!
It was a nice evening out. They have great appetizer options which are very good. Not a big fan of the Music Choice that was their. Lots base pretty loud
The food and service was excellent. The music was good too.
Love Villa! Great food and service! Always a great meal and a fun crowd in the bar for late night fun. Joe Cariglia, who is a regular entertainer at Villa is outstanding! We try to make it every time Joe is singing.
1st time there & will definitely be returning! Each meal is made to order in the kitchen, so it's a great place to enjoy a leisurely meal with your love, your friends or your family. Live entertainment on the weekends. The singer that night was phenomenal! I thought it was recorded until I saw him with the mic. Great ambiance. Highly recommended!
Friendly employees. The young lady found our reservation very quickly. The wait staff check to see if we wanted drinks, we chose to wait for our friends. Took drink orders and gave information about the specials. Both my husband and I had changes we wanted for our chosen entre.
Both our orders were adjusted for us.
We will be going to this establishment again.
The food is always terrific, the wait staff is nice and engaging. The manager cares about your experience and will check in with you, great ambiance. And did i mention terrific food,
WE WERE A PARTY OF 9 LADIES.
FOOD WAS VERY GOOD
SERVICE WAS GOOD
WAITRESS WAS EXCELLENT
Three of our party of four had veal dinners, two Marsala and one chop, which were excellent. The salmon was just O.K., possibly because it needed to be prepared gluten-free. My wife, who ordered the salmon, has had gluten-free salmon dishes at many restaurants which had much more flavor and better preparations. The cheesecake was fabulous and the coffee excellent. I would highly recommend this restaurant, especially if there are no gluten allergies.
Outstanding Italian fare. Prosciutto/mozzarella appetizer was incredible, as well as the seafood pasta. Very good service. I'll be back!
Great, authentic local place. The food is prepared to order with great care, and the owner, Joe, is engaged in the business and involved in daily operations. Great local place, hidden in a tiny shopping center. An excellent discovery!
There were 5 of us for dinner . Service was terrific ! From the hostess to our waitress! Both of them could not have been nicer or more attentive. Always making sure our classes were filled with either water or our beverage .
Food was good! Great menu . Only complaint was it could have been hotter..
Went here for our anniversary last Saturday the owner actually waited on us he didn't know it was our anniversary but treated us as though he did! excellent service it's nice to see an owner Step Up and be a good example for his employees I've been going here for years one of my favorite spots!!
The food is very good. The salad very fresh what we appreciate very much. But the beef is awesome.
Everything was cooked to perfection. As I said before the plates are created exactly like my mom's who is from Italy. Yet Joe includes creative contemporary dishes as well like the coffee rubbed meal chop marsala.(I'll never forget that dish) Bring that one back after lobster fest! This restaurant eats like a major NYC or Boston eatery. But its located here in Western Mass!!
Our first dining experience here was A+++ in every way from food to service. As a result, we were excited to invite friends to join us last night. The food, once again, was superb. Every single entree was outstanding. In the long run this is what counts. But our server was extremely inattentive and inexperienced. Once seated we ordered drinks. Fifteen minutes later, no drinks were delivered. We asked her and she said the bar was busy. We could see the bar, it was not. It was evident that she never put the order in. We ordered our meals and asked for more bread and also said we wanted to order wine. Despite there only being two other tables in our area, twenty minutes later and she never came back for the wine order or to deliver more bread. Went to the bar to ask about this. At that point a senior person came over to take our wine order and to share that our server was working on our salads. These soon arrived and despite some asking for the dressing on the side, dressing was applied. I could go on, but the worst part was that the server never removed used dishes or glasses. When the entrees came there was a conglomeration of used dishes on the table. We had to hand her appetizer and salad plates, the drinks glasses, the still empty bread basket, etc. to make room. It was confusing and when done, some of us were missing knives and forks. Instead of involving our server in this mess, we just went to an empty table and got the cutlery that we needed. We drove 20 miles and our friends came from West Hartford. Again, the food was fantastic but were very upset and saddened by the performance of the server. It just did not go with the sublime food. We hope to be back, but hope never to have this server again.
The food and service were both outstanding however the music was far too loud.
It was our first visit and we scheduled based on OT reviews. They did not disappoint. The menu was extensive and everything sounded so good that it was hard to choose. We loved the artichoke appetizer - the sauce!! For entrees we ended up with the stuffed chicken and veal and scallops. Both were amazing. Although this restaurant is a bit of a drive for us, it far exceeds our local and now formerly most favorite Italian restaurant. Truly, every thing was fantastic. Prices are also very reasonable.
Excellent food and service. Not your typical Italian fare - better! This was the second time our group of 7 celebrated birthdays there. Not one complaint from anyone either time. Every meal was cooked to perfection. We are also fans of the watermelon margaritas and crème brulee. We will be back to celebrate again!
Perfect! Thank you!!
Our waiter was Marco. Amazing! Polite, friendly, went thru all the brunch items and where everything was located. We had family from Australia and they were highly impressed. All staff was polite, courteous. The guy at carving station, the guy making waffles and omelets, the dessert guy and a tall
pretty blonde super nice. My family owns Fazio's Villa Calabrese on Shaker Road, but don't have brunch! It was my first time coming to Villas Napoletana but definitely not my last!!! Actually can't wait to come again!!
Food, as always, excellent! They had live entertainment with a guy singing classics like Tony Bennett! Very nice evening, and a very good value for your money.
Real Italian large portions and very fair prices.
