White Chocolate Grill - Naperville
It was the last night to eat out before all restaurants and bars closed down. We wanted to support one of our favorite restaurants. There weren’t many people out, but the service was still outstanding. All of our food was delicious. This was our first visit where we were served bread before our meals (and appetizer). It could have been a little warmer, but it was still soft and delicious. We enjoyed the AZ Egg Rolls for our appetizer. Each of our meals, Idaho trout, cheeseburger and Cajun chicken sandwich, were all delicious. Everyone left with a clean plate (or a box of leftovers that were eaten later). Two of the three guests ordered after dinner drinks. One of the drinks was not right, the waitress took it back once we told her. Everything was delicious as always and we will be back once this closure ban is lifted!
The only feedback I have is they were handing us the credit card machine to use because of the Coronavirus and it was going from table to table without wiping down with Clorox wipes.
I didn’t want to touch after it was going from table to table.
Not safe today!!!
We went for my birthday and the food was the best food and dessert we have had. It was so worth the drive from rockford and we will be back.
The Ahi Tuna appetizer was delicious! The Sea Bass was so good, it fell right off the fork, it was so tender. So worth the price. Will definitely plan on coming back in the future.
Excited to order the clam chowder soup. Although the flavor was good, there was barely any clams. Maybe 6 pcs?
The famous chicken salad was ok. It was missing the cranberries and instead substituted with raisins. Tasted different
Great server and food! Good atmosphere for a productive lunch.
We had made dinner reservations for 7 of us to celebrate mom’s 60th! Had made 2 phone calls to make sure I had given them details of our requirements. When we got there our table was not ready. Chairs were not arranged. We had to pull chairs in place ourselves. Moreover the waiter was rude! The receptionist fled after I mentioned to her that the table is not ready. She said it was ready and went out of sight!
I wouldn’t recommend this place if you were celebrating a special occasion as food is not the only requirement to make an occasion memorable. The experience counts and we had a bad one!
Had 6:45 reservations and were seated at 7:25.
Celebrated my daughters birthday. The restaurant was fantastic. Food was great. The chocolate dessert was to die for.
The food choices were good. The quality of food was great. Service was very good. An overall delightful dinner.
Great experience. Great staff
My fiancé and I decided to try this place while staying in Naperville and we were so glad we did! The food was excellent, I had the Caesar salad with shrimp and he had the crab cake benedict, both were absolutely delicious. Of course, we also had to try the white chocolate brownie for dessert and it was one of the best desserts I’ve ever had! Our server was great and the atmosphere was really nice as well. I highly recommend trying this place!
Had reservations and still had to wait for walkins to be seated before us, very frustrating. Food was good service was slow.
Great service Mark was our waiter
I started with a vitamin C martini which was very good so I’m ready for the coronavirus ha ha
But seriously had the field salad was very very good we ordered the prime rib and had the blue cheese filet I do have to say the blue cheese crust was a little much for me I needed to scrape most of it off it took away from the taste of the filet. Prime rib was very good seasoning around the edge was delicious
The vegetable was the butternut squash which was yummy
We saved room for the white chocolate brownie I think it would be better as a regular brownie found out not much of a fan of white chocolate
Definitely will be back
Wish they could do something about the noise level being just the two of us it was a little hard to carry on a conversation with the noise level
I had the trout - very good; added green beans - tough (used knife to cut them up - why can't vegetables just be simple and tender??); apple pie dessert had good flavor but not much in the way of actual apples - that needs to be fixed.
Server was very good and attentive.
Everything was wonderful.
This was our first time here and it definitely won't be our last. The Tomato Gin soup was outstanding. We also had the prime rib which was excellent.
I can't wait to try more on the menu.
We received our drinks right away but then nobody came for our food order for quite awhile. We finally stopped somebody and asked for a waiter. Once we did that we got excellent service. It was just a mix up between the wait staff.
I love this restaurant the food always meets my expectations, and the service is always five stars. The drinks are never water down. If I could I would try every item on their menu. Some of the items that I recommend people to try is the rotisserie chicken (best chicken ever), chicken enchiladas, apple pie, AZ egg rolls, and their soup.
Food was good. Was a bit loud in the restaurant and challenging at times to hear each other.
Always a good meal. French dip is fantastic. Good service, too.
The food is wonderful especially the fish dishes and appetizers. It’s very popular so make sure you make a reservation for dinner even on week nights. The wait staff and manager offered great service.
We frequently dine at White Chocolate Grill both for a casual lunch and for celebration dinners. It has been consistently good with knowledgeable helpful staff, good service, and great food. It is a little louder on busy evenings, but there is never difficulty carrying on conversations easily. Our favorites include the grilled salmon, prime rib French dip, mashed potatoes, glazed carrots, and the gluten free chocolate soufflé cake - to die for, be sure to save room!
Everything there was exceptional. The quality of service, the food, and the atmosphere was top notch.
Great place for a business lunch. I didn't even know they were open for lunch.
I have been wanting to go for years. Very disappointed that we hadn’t!
Our reservation was ready upon our arrival and seating was comfortable. The food was delicious and our waiter was attentive, caring, and all of our food was accurate. Great experience.
Food was good. Very loud
Really good food. Outstanding service. WCG will be our new favorite restaurant.
Date night for my husband and I. Joshua was an awesome server...very personable. The AZ Egg Rolls were a must-have!
Came in for just desserts and the experience was perfect!! White chocolate brownie for the win!
My only complaint is how they handle paying the bill. The server brings an electronic gadget that has my bill total and gives me options for adding the tip, totaling and swiping my card. Imagine the awkward moment as the server hovers at the table, waiting for me to determine an appropriate tip. I think I preferred the system of handing my card to someone who disappears and may use my card to buy an airline ticket while processing the restaurant bill.
Great for any occasion!
Great food, outstanding service, cozy place - the favorite restaurant for my family!!!
Justin, our server was excellent! Salad was amazing!
Our service was excellent. Dessert was amazing. The server said they were out of mashed potatoes, my husband was slightly bummed about it but when our food came out he had mashed potatoes on his plate. We were so happy that made our night. I can't wait to go back.
The food was awesome. Lots of variety to please everyone in our party.
My only complaint would be that the banana cream dessert could use less crust and more banana cream.
When you have a reservation you should not have to wait 25 minutes after the assigned time.. They did comp appetizers. Overall it was a good experience.
