White Chocolate Grill - Naperville
Tends to be a bit pricey but the food quality is good and the service very attentive.
Disappointed that I had to wait almost 40 minutes to be seated around 8:25 pm (we had a reservation for 7:45 pm) and people who had reservations at 8:00 pm were being seated before us. When I approached the Hostess she said "I'll have a manager stop by your table" but he/she never did. Anyway, I did not ask for a Manager I just simply wanted to know when would we be seated. Almost $30 for a ribeye you can get for $22 most other places seemed pricey and was chewy not tender. The service was very good otherwise.
We had dinner at the White Chocolate Grill on 11/9/2019. Service was outstanding. Our waitress, Cheyanne, and the entire wait staff were excellent. We recommend saving room for dessert - they were wonderful!
This is a busy restaurant but there are reasons for it. Everything food item is delicious; the service is very good; the staff is friendly and accommodating. There is never a disappointing visit.
We had reservations for 6 and requested to not be put in the off room to the side instead of the main dining room. We were accommodated but had to wait a little longer. The restaurant was extremely busy which I didn’t care for so much but the food was really good. Very pretty dining room. Don’t sit in side room though -no ambience
Ahi appetizer is wonderful and salmon dinner was great too. One of the best French Martinis ever!
We were excited to try this for the first time. We were seated for our reservation right away, but the service was incredibly rushed. The food was okay - overly sweet in many parts of the dish. Maybe that makes sense considering the name, but even the ranch dressing was too sweet and the carrots were so sweet, they weren’t good. It wasn’t the worst place or service we have ever had, but we would not hurry back.
Great waiter .. good food and martinis.. nice atmosphere
Good food and service. Could have a few lower prices items on the menu. We were in a smaller room so that helped with noice our in the main dining room. Will be back.
Really good food and GREAT service. The aesthetics are beautiful; upscale and trendy. But comfy enough for dress/casual attire. We will definitely be back!
Great. Loved the food and drink.
I feel some items are a bit over priced but I do enjoy going once in a while.
It's a little expensive for lunch but the food was delicious and the service was great.
Had a corporate lunch there. Staff was amazing and food was excellent. Was my first time being there and would go back!
Always a favorite place. Great food and ambiance. Can get too noisy at times but we wouldn't stop going there.
Enjoyed lunch at White Chocolate and their Shrimp Tacos and our server were awesome!
Great place to have a business lunch meeting. Their menu has a great variety for all!
My girlfriend and I came here for her birthday dinner and we were very satisfied with the food here, we both loved our dishes.
My husband and I went for our 6 year anniversary and had a great time :) We were a little late because our movie started late, I called to ask if we could push it back a bit and they were able to do so, even with a HUGE crowd! Due to the wait, the manager took off our app from our bill which I thought was super nice! The wait wasn't even that terrible to be honest but I love that they addressed it. I had the crab cakes, best I have ever had. The blonde brownie is to die for! Love! We will be back!
I liked it very much and would recommend it to anyone A little noisy.
Menu selection was excellent. Portions over generous but too expensive for value. Salmon filet on a bed of iceberg lettuce?
Everything was fabulous!... Drinks, Service and Food!
Very inviting ambience. Food was above par and the service from everyone was great!
Loved the menu, quality and taste of food and the service level!!
Had a great time at White Chocolate. Service was excellent, knowledgeable wait staff, very helpful. Drinks were as expected. Wife had a martini and to our surprise they came by and offered her a chilled glass to keep her drink cold. A nice courtesy. Everyone enjoyed a great meal and dessert was amazing. Well worth a visit!
Had the bbq trio, and the chicken was excellent! The pork was very good but the ribs were a bit dry and would have benefit from more sauce. Service was very good and ambience was great! My partner enjoyed his hamburger and mashed potatoes. Was a bit confused because the online prices were lower than the actual prices.
Chips and guacamole are great! Love the ahi tuna app as a meal with squash. Partner had trout and loved it. Consistently good!
I always have a good time, good food, and good service when at The White Chocolate Grill.
My friend and I love the Filet Mignon Cobb Salad, so delicious!
Tyler was a great waiter with an excellent sense of humor. He really made the night even more fun!
My only complaint is that the handicapped parking is at the rear of the restaurant. Too far to walk for many of my friends. Not everyone is in a wheelchair.
It was wonderful, as always. Great food and drink. Great Service.
My husband and I went on a Saturday night. We had an 8:15 reservation and were seated by 8:25. My husband ordered the Tender Filet Steak Sandwich ($17.39) with mashed potatoes. The steak, while tender, had very little flavor. It was also a small sandwich. I had the Mardi Gras Jambalaya ($21.99). Overall the dish was good. The shrimp was flavorful as was the Mardi Gras rice and spicy tomato stew. The andouille sausage and roasted chicken were not as flavorful. However, because it was mixed in with the shrimp, rice and spicy stew, the lack of flavor of the andouille sausage and chicken was okay. Overall, I enjoyed my dish. They were generous with their jambalaya portions. I was stuffed and still took close to half of it home. The food is a bit pricey. You could get the same or better quality food elsewhere for a less expensive price. However, the ambiance was very nice. Overall, I feel that the restaurant is worth checking out.
Wonderful restaurant..food was good, the restaurant was clean and the atmosphere was fabulous.
The servers were cold and inattentive. They did not know the menu and were not friendly at all
Maybe. Somewhat dark inside restaurant. Music slightly too loud. Service good but seemed somewhat automated. Overall a good experience. Thank you!
Dined there for my birthday with 2 of my friends. Our server Dana was not friendly at all. She seemed put out that we were busy chatting and not ready to order our meals when she checked on us a few times. We ordered the spinach & artichoke dip which was good. I had the turkey dip and it was good. The turkey was very tender, the bread was good, but the gravy for dipping was a little over-spiced (not hot, just some weird spices) for my taste. My one friend ordered the Chicken Madiera and she didn't like it. My other friend ordered a burger well done. It came medium. She wouldn't eat it. She probably should have sent it back. When we first arrived my one friend told the waitress we were celebrating my birthday...no acknowledgement from her and no freebie dessert. We ordered the banana cream pie and white chocolate brownie desserts. They were both tasty, although it seemed like the banana cream pie was only crust, bananas and whipped cream..where's the custard? Two of us ordered decaf and my other friend ordered a hot chocolate. The decaf was terrible...very bitter...tasted like we were drinking the bottom of the pot. The hot chocolate wasn't hot...not even warm. We told the waitress about the coffee and she just looked at us like we were a bother and didn't apologize for it. My friend told her to take the hot chocolate away and not charge us for it. I'm usually a big fan of White Chocolate but this time is was VERY disappointing. I'll rethink going back.
Always a great service and delicious food.
Ambiance, location perfect!!
I brought my mom there to celebrate her birthday per her request. I mentioned it on the reservation, as well as to the hostess. They did absolutely nothing to make her feel celebrated.
My son’s burger was burnt on the outside and raw inside. I ordered the pulled pork sandwich and it was bland. The BBQ sauce was bland, coleslaw was bland, but the fries were good. This was my second time visiting and was hoping the food had improved but unfortunately it has not. Positively will not be visiting again.
Food and service was great - a little pricey though!
i chose this restaurant because it had good reviews. I chose to start with the tortilla chicken soup which was good. I then ordered the Seabass. I admit, I didn’t notice that the menu read: Blckened Sustainable Seabass. If I would have read it correctly, I would have questioned why in the world would someone blackened Seabass. I also did not want the suave that came with it. For a side I ordered the broccoli. When the dishes arrived I noticed the seasoning and asked to read the menu again. I also commented to the bar tender that the fish looked like Bronzino (Mediterranean Seabass) which is far from Chilean (flavor and profile). Based on the cost of the item, I expected Chilean. Anyway, 3 bites and I couldn’t eat anymore. Lastly the broccoli was cold, very undercooked. The bartender asked if she could get me anything else but I didn’t feel comfortable to trust the quality so I decided to close out and leave. It was nice of the bartender to take the fish off the bill but I did tell her I do take responsibility in not reading the menu correctly. I would suggest the culinary/management team re-evaluate that menu item, it needs a ln overhaul.
Overpriced, good food, great dessert, fantastic service.
Very friendly service and food was great! I’ll definitely be back.
Everything great service, ambiance, etc. My chicken Madeira sauce was a little heavy for me, but all else was great.
