Wildfire - Oak Brook
Service and food was wonderful ! 100% recommender
Had my book club Christmas dinner here, food was good, not too crowded, and great seats for the group. I had a salad and soup, both was great!
It was my birthday. I love to go there. Food was so good. Even the flourlesss cake. Thanks.
I always enjoy going to Wildfire with friends and family especially at Christmas time. I love the atmosphere, the food, and our server was wonderful. I definitely will continue to go back!
We love coming to Wildfire Oakbrook. Food and service, always a 10/10
Have never been disappointed at Wildfire, food, service, etc is always top notch
Good place for well prepared steak and ribs. Very noisy, but you can expect that as its very popular. Seating is very close together, but people are friendly and don't seem to mind when trying to get to and form your table. Food was excellent - their 3 fillet medallions with crusted topping is excelled.
The prime rib was ordered as medium-rare and was prepared perfectly. Augratin potatoes were amazing as my side dish. Noise level was a little high for my liking, but it was completely packed. Service was very good.
Got there early, had drinks at the bar. Martinis were great. Seated a few minutes early. Waiter was Anthony. We had him before and he is a fantastic waiter. He answered all our questions, gave us a rundown of the specials and took very good care of us. He spread out our dinner so we had time between courses. Food was terrific and took desert home. Would highly recommend and will request Anthony the next time we make reservations. Thanks for the nice evening.
Our waiter was outstanding!!!
The reason I would not recommend Wildfire it because it is soooo cramped in there. They truly need to remove some table so that the dining experience is somewhat comfortable and not elbow to elbow as it is now. People are dining 3 feet away from the bar stools so it is impossible to get a drink while you are waiting. Also, we made our reservation far in advance and had 3 confirmations from the restaurant. We arrived 20 minutes early for our 8:30 res. and we were seated at 9:00.
Could be a great place if they made it more comfortable!!
Anthony our server was amazing. Very knowledgeable and took creat care of us on our anniversary
It was great! We were seated in the bar and thought it would be really noisy, but, it wasn’t too bad at all. Tonight’s filet trio was not near as good as usual. Asked for it medium rare and it arrived medium at best. Otherwise, everything was great. A nice ending to our Christmas shopping spree.
Celebrating my wife’s graduation from graduate school. The only place we considered celebrating at was wildfire. ALWAYS a great choice.
Perfect as usual; love this restaurant!
The food and service was very good. The atmosphere is awesome, and I would highly recommend this location.
The drinks were very slow in coming to the table. The waiter acted disinterested and never seemed to be visible any time we needed him. From the appetizer to the entree, service was extremely slow. I don’t believe I will be back to this location again.
Ate dinner there on a Friday. Start and finish were average and the main course was good. I usually get a quick first impression on how my meal will be from the bread. The basket came with warm cornbread and cold rolls. Cornbread was very good but the rolls tasted like they have been out since morning. Salads were very good. My steak was excellent as were mashed potatoes. We finished with butterscotch pecan pie to split. Filling was outstanding but the crust was very bland and even cold.
I have eaten at Wildfire several times and had very good food. Unfortunately, this time was uninspiring.
My husband and I were celebrating our wedding anniversary and we had such an amazing experience at Wildfire! Our food was delicious!! We love the filet medallions, filet and shrimp specials! Our service was spectacular. Our server, Carrie was very personable, attentive and friendly! The hospitality we received was amazing and Carrie surprised us with a dessert for our anniversary! Our experience here made our anniversary celebration very special and memorable! We will definitely be back!
Made a reservation so had a table ready right away. Server was polite, informed and attentive. Food portions generous, perfect temperature and timely. The food was delicious. Perfect meal just a little pricey.
Celebrating a birthday. Our server was excellent.
Fantastic food and top notch service. A bit pricey but well worth it in the end.
Our waitress was great! Made our experience outstanding. I don't recall her name but my receipt says 347 Kyle P K.
Love the food and service
Great place to eat.
Don’t dine there....place is tired.
Glassware and silverware OLD
Tables beat up
Put some money in the place
Oak Brook is booming with new places.
We had the best waiter I've ever had at a restaurant. He was delightful, efficient, polite and never rushed us . He let us talk, we never seemed rushed and he was just excellent. I would dine at Wildfire often if I could have him every time
My husband and I dined at the Wildfire in Oak Brook. I can’t say this was the best dining experience we’ve had at a Wildfire. Our meals were overpriced for being unspectacular. We were seated in a tight booth in a high traffic area which made it difficult to have a conversation. Our server was hardly seen. The next time I want Wildfire, we’ll go to Lincolnshire - that location is consistently very good.
Everything was excellent. The spinach salad with bacon, radishes , chopped eggs, the Parmesan encrusted cod, crab cakes and even the mashed potatoes and green beans.
Annual Santa Visit and Wildfire Dinner! Always great and our favorite restaurant.
My wife & I went there to celebrate her birthday. We both had the trio of filets with horseradish, parmesan cheese, and blue cheese. We also had the au gratin potatoes. Everything was excellent. My wife's birthday was recognized with a chocolate lava cake with vanilla ice cream. Our waiter, Joe, was excellent. He was friendly and helpful. An asset to the restaurant. We had a great time and will go again.
It’s all good!!!
The best, always!!
Service was excellent!
I will go again
It was my husband’s birthday and everything was great. Our server Sarah was fantastic.
This place does a great job being a classy family friendly restaurant. Been here dozens of times and always the same great consistency in quality and service. Think our servers name was Jeffery, definitely knowledgeable and efficient! Some items Ordered, Cesar salad which can feed 4 just fine, petite filet always a good go to. All the potato’s sides are good especially the Au Gratin potato’s. Note kids pizza is huge which is great but two can split. And the hot cookie dessert is delightful!
Love to go to Wildfire and always have a great experience when I am there. There was a chicken salad special with honey mustard dressing that included too many craisons. The craisons were also a little hard to eat and maybe was not the best choice for that dish. I will return to my standby favorites next time which are all very dependable and delicious!
The waiter was very friendly and the atmosphere was live
Tables are beyond too close. My elbow was hitting the person behind me the whole time literally. As I was taking my coat off to sit down they asked I if I wanted a drink. 2 seconds to sit down would have done a long way. I ordered for my 20 month old daughter right away and the wrong food came so my daughter ended up eating AFTER we ate. Not good. They stated clearing the table as I put a fork down every time as if they wanted to turn the table after being there 30 mins. Overall a very rushed meal that was horrific service. I have been here several times prior and nothing similar to this experience and it’s a shame as it was a birthday celebration.
we would visit more often as the food is always excellent
however the noise level is so high we find ourselves yelling in order to have a conversation
