Wildfire - Oak Brook
Southern fried chicken was excellent although expensive chicken with artichokes and tomatoes was also great but pricey too but large enough to have enough for take home
We came in for my birthday. Joe was an excellent server and everything was great!
Miss the pumpernickel bread. Please bring it back!
Good service & the quality of food along with the price point were excellent. Haven’t been to Wildfire in about 5-7 years & we’ll return.
Love coming here for birthdays and anniversary’s! Never disappoints what so ever!
Food was served barely warm . Didn't see the waiter until it was time for desert. This was one of our go to restaurants in Oakbrook, disappointed.
Service and food was great. Anniversary dinner went well.
We had the best waiter, he was so nice and happy to help! A wonderful experience!
Restaurant had issues with their reservation system. We were not seated in a timely manner, and other parties that arrived after us were seated before us. I inquired with the Hostess about the exceedingly long wait time, and was berated for asking. Hostess entered the wrong buzzer number into the system, but did not have the decency even approach us as we waited to inform us that a table was ready. She blamed me for the systems malfunction, not hearing her yelling our name and receiving a text message. Terrible front of the house communication and customer service.
I was underwhelmed. I had not been to Wildfire for some time and everything was disappointing except my prime rib. The calamari was overcooked! The rolls were not fresh. The table was dirty. We had to listen to everyone's conversation around us because we were so close. The waiter was very good. The wait staff were all wearing clothes that didn't fit properly.
I have owned restaurants for the last 30 years and am very disappointed. Rick Cavaliere 708-715-0304
Food and service is phenomenal. Would definitely go back again!
It's always a pleasure to dine at Wildfire. The halibut was excellent and my guests enjoyed their dinners.
Both parties got the surf and turf. Might have been one of the worst steaks we’ve had. Very dry and unseasoned. Service and staff were great though. Salad was great. Dessert was so so but the steak at a steak house was far from the quality we expected and it’s not cheap.
The food was delicious – I had the halibut and my husband had the pork chops. The spinach salad it was to die for.
Always love a good meal and the best was that our server realized we were celebrating something private and he sent us a dessert free of charge. It's nice when people are aware and take care of their customers. Great Job
Waiter ordered the wrong potatoes. The food delivery person choose to Argue about the items delivered and we were more or less stuck. Sitting in the booths are not the best as the wait staff continues to bump into you all evening. Just a fair place to dine.
Seated as requested, server was wonderful didn't rush us. Food was excellent as always
Fabulous as always!
My husband and I visited Wildfire on 7/18 to celebrate my birthday. I chose Wildfire because it is one of my favorite restaurants and the food and service are usually great. This was not the case on Thursday night.
Our server was nice, however she was pretty inattentive. I used to serve, so I know it is a trying/difficult job at times, however the name of the game is customer service and at place where the entrees are well above cost than at other restaurants, the service should have been better. Our food took quite a long time to arrive, which has not been the scenario when I've visited in the past. I am fairly certain that our server forgot to put our order in, because close to 45 minutes after we ordered, I saw her poke her head in the dining room and she looked at our table and ran away. This was further confirmed when our entrées arrived and my lobster was missing from my entrée. She didn't apologize; just said she'd get me a tail immediately. 15 minutes later, I finally got the lobster and by that time, I wasn't hungry anymore. My husband's duck was fine (not great), but the rice clearly was the bottom of the batch. It was the MOST inedible rice I have ever tasted; crunchy and hard as rock from being old and overcooked. The waitress said she would get him another side, again, no apology. She did bring a desert for my bday, so that was nice, but overall it just wasn't a great night. Our server only checked on us when she had to (i.e. my lobster was missing, my husband notified her of his rice, we had to ask for our check.). She only came over one time to actually check on us.
Based on the yelp reviews I was seeing after our dinner, this seems to be rather common and that's disappointing. I felt like I needed to share my experience, because in the past, our visits have been great. Thursday was not great. I hope they understand it takes many visits to a restaurant to lock in a customer; it only takes one bad visit to lose them.
Our server, Olga, was amazing! My guest is highly allergic to mushrooms and Olga went above and beyond to inform the kitchen of the allergy. Wildfire has always been one of our "go to" restaurants and this visit was one of the best experiences yet!
We had an overall good experience but I made a reservation and still waited a half hour before being seated. And we were seated in a crowded booth in the bar area and it was so loud it was hard to hear the conversation with our friends.
I love the macadamia nut crusted Halibut during the summer months as well as other seasonal meals, but the steaks are awesome as well. Always have a pretty good meal when I visit Wildfire.
My compliments to our waiter and I am afraid I do not remember his name but he gave us ample time to enjoy our cocktails before taking our order. Sometime I feel so rushed in restaurants because it seems that they are only concerned with getting the next set of customers in after you.
My wife and I shared a large chopped salad. It was meant to be our main meal, not just lunch. It was great and achieved our goal of being dinner too. Everything is the salad was fresh-avocados, eggs, etc.
I really would like to get butter with the corn bread without having to ask. My fish was a little over cooked. Last time I had it, it was wonderful,
It was so loud we were shouting at each other across the table. We made a reservation and still ended up waiting 15 minutes on a Wednesday night.
Great ambiance, superb staff, EXCELLENT FOOD!!!!!!!~
Food was excellent, however we ordered a bottle of wine that they told us had to come from”downstairs “, it was 30 minutes before the wine was delivered to our table, with a very apologetic sever coming over to say it was on its way.
Good food and amazing service!
Great food, wine and service, only negative is that it is too noisy.
Our waiter was VERY flamboyant! Almost to the point where it was unacceptable and irritable to wait tables. Food took a little longer to get then usual and the place was not crowded at all. We had three rounds of bread before getting our food.
Our meals came out very late and extremely well done. Would not recommend or return.
The filet I had , had fat on it, I never had fat on any filet I’ve had at your establishment
Great food and service. The bread has changed, enjoyed the previous loaf each table got the last time I was there a couple years ago.
I was not impressed with the server.
Always a great meal and outstanding service!!!!
Great food as always. Steaks, fish, and salads are tremendous and priced fairly. Anthony is a wonderful server who adds to the experience!
I specifically made a reservation at this location because the Schaumburg location could not tell the difference between medium and medium rare. Unfortunately both locations seem to have the same problem. I ordered a bison filet cooked medium, they brought it to me medium rare, I sent it back. When they brought me the new steak half of it was still medium rare and the other half was slightly edible but not medium. My boyfriends steak was cooked medium and he orders it medium well.
I just do not understand how a restaurant that claims to specialize in steaks does not understand the difference between medium and medium rare. I would never dine at ANY wildfire ever again.
