Birthday celebration was the occasion. First seating by hostess was way too far away from everyone with lots of open tables still. We asked to be reseated to another table and the hostess accommodated. Our waiter forgot to bring a dessert order and apologized but it was too late to eat it as we were attending the late performance also. He offered to bring our orders into the performance and we accepted but had to wait about 15 minutes before the waiter in the performance venue located our orders. Also the waiters in the performance venue need to remember that we are watching a performance and they should not linger in front of the patrons while they count and figure out which table gets what drink or try to figure out what table gets which check.
Food and service was great
The food was delicious and the service was fabulous.
Always love the food. Always Go before the show. Go at least once a month.
Yoshi's is always good but they seemed to be a little short handed, it took quite a while for our drinks
The best food I have ever eaten . Impeccably served and incredibly delicious. Service was wonderful. A peaceful dinner. Looking forward to returning. Thank you!
Celebrated our wedding anniversary with dinner and show. Very crowded, but had a nice table by the window and enjoyed the beef skewers appetizer, along with the chicken dinner. Both were terrific. Our server, Sarah, comp'ed us a dessert to cap the occasion. Many thanks to her for great service!
All of the staff in the restaurant were very nice and it seemed that every employee greeted us! The food was great! Will definitely go again!
Wonderful venue for dinner and a show. The food comes Extremely fast! Servers were attentive. I highly recommend this experience!
Our waitress was excellent and the food was good
I love Yoshi's, I love the intimate setting and no matter what seat you get it's a great seat.
Food always good. Service by Stephen is the best. He ensures there’s a steady flow of food coming to the table and that we make it to the show right on time.
yes but be ready to spend alot
ambience was very nice
Excellent food but a bit pricey. OTH, if you are going to a performance (which is absolutely a wonderful, intimate music experience) dinner allows you to get reserved preferred seating at the performance which justifies the pricier food cost.
I have been to multiple shows at Yoshi’s and always have the best time. Damien Escobar was amazing. Food and drinks a bit pricey, but overall a great venue
Tried the pomegranate martini, pretty tasty! Spicy geisha roll not up to usual standards. Service was great!
I always enjoy myself when I come to this restaurant. This evening I was going to see Damien Escobar who is a wonderful violinist. For dinner I had the salmon and my friend had a couple different sushi's along with wine and the kobe skewers for appetizer. The food here is always good and made with fresh ingredients.
Very expensive due to small portion size. $50 for a bottle of wine with a screw top ?
GREAT SERVICE BUT DIDNT KNOW WE CAN ALSO PURCHASE FOOD INSIDE CONCERT
Perfect dining experience for my mother’s birthday. The staff is superb. Our waiter Alex was awesome! He made my mother’s experience that much more enjoyable.
Great food & great service ❤️
My husband and I made a dinner reservation before a show at Yoshi’s, and were left wanting more. Service was excellent, but two of our dishes (both containing fried tempura) left a lot to be desired, both tasting quite chewy and a bit flavorless. For the price, we definitely expected more. The other two dishes, steak and hamachi app, balanced out the meal and were quite tasty, though not worth the price.
We’ve been coming to Yoshi’s since the early-80’s when they were in a neighborhood. Neither the food nor the entertainment have ever disappointed. A perfect ending to our wine country week!!!
Friendly staff, good food before a great show #WillDowning🎤
My niece was in town from Houston, and I treated her to dinner and a show with a friend. She was quite impressed with the food and loved the show.
A much needed night out and it was beautiful. Our pork chops were delicious and our server Alex was awesome. Thank you forever from the Pitts-Wallace family
I love Yoshi, but I recommend updating your food menu.
Always enjoy eating here before a show. Food is delicious, gindara black cod is my favorite. Our waiter, Stephen, was attentive and delightful.
Yoshi's was recommended by a friend and they were right. Duck confit egg roll was our favorite.
Yoshi's menu prices have increased to a level we no longer consider a good value, specially considering all of the other good dinning alternatives in the area. Although we've dinned at Yoshi's many times over the years, we will not be going back to this restaurant. We've been priced out of this venue.
Very good food. A bit pricey, but portions are generous and quality is high. Service very attentive. FYI for those seeing a show - you don’t get to pick your seats. They are assigned first come first served. Seating in club a bit tight. If coming in a pair, one sits behind the other around the table. Except for seats near front along the side, there are no bad seats.
Yoshis is always an incredible experience. Five stars all the way.
Food was okay but nothing special. We have had much better sushi rolls (and a broader selection) elsewhere. The food prices seemed high relative to the overall experience and several rolls were just too large dimensionally to be able to eat them without having them fall apart. Wine pours were on the small size as was the “large” carafe of sake. Our waiter was great and personable and the restaurant space was attractive. We were glad to have tried Yoshi’s but would not eat there again.
The restaurant was understaffed and our waiter was covering most of the tables. He apologized profusely for the slow service because we all knew it was not acceptable. It didn’t appear to be his fault. He tried to accommodate all the tables but he couldn’t. The sushi was pretty good. The dessert was okay. Not enough sauce on the banana muffin and negligible amount of gelato.
Great service and very quick delivery of the food. We had 5;30 reservations and tickets to a 7:00 show at Yoshi's. No problem and we were a group of 6.
Dinner for 4 was very nice. Food is tasty but a bit pricey for what you get. Wine list is mid range. Ok once in a while if you are there for a show.
The staff at Yoshi's is really what makes this place. As a Vegetarian they did have a few options for me but not many but did take the time to cook all veggies well. My fish eating partner was beyond satisfied with his dishes and felt the hamachi was even better than his roll.
Yoshi’s is always a great place for live music; this evening was no exception. We were greeted cordially and escorted to our table with no waiting. Sarah was very knowledgeable about the menu and very helpful in steering my limited-Japanese-food guest to an enjoyable dinner choice. She also timed dish deliveries perfectly making our meal a well orchestrated experience. Our food selections were very fresh, flavorful, expertly prepared, and thoughtfully presented. An excellent dining experience.
Always take advantage of the performance seating option for dinner. You will be assigned preferred seating when you dine at Yoshi’s. This can take the rush or seat scramble out of the show experience. Highly recommended.
Best sushi I’ve ever had. The flavor combos were incredible
Food and service was outstanding, and the show was even better; a delightful evening with friends.
