   The food at this restaurant is fairly standard american bistro fare; all well prepared and cooked satisfactorally. Steaks were ok as was fish but nothing special. The restaurant is VERY noisy from the adjacent bar. In fact the music is so loud that you cannot hear yourself let alone others at your table! I was there with older teenagers and they found it too loud too! All in all, a "safe" bet but nothing special...

   Restaurant was excellent, have been 3 times now. Good Is excellent, love the decor and ambience and good for money. Recommend the potato skins!! Unfortunately your booking facility did not work And despite my booking confirmation and reminder text, The table was not actually booked at the restaurant. Thankfully They did have a table left, we were seated at the bar until the Table became free. Was not too happy though as it was a birthday Treat.

   Very friendly greeting, sorted crowded table out with minimum fuss. Service & foodwas of a good quality, as was the wine. Would go again when next in the area.

   The restaurant had lost our booking which was a bad start. The food took far to long to arrive, it was an hour between our first course and main. The restaurant looks lovely it just needs more organisation between front of house and kitchen.

   i attended babucho with my boyfriend and mam and dad for a meal before going to an event at the metro arena. we all throughly enjoyed every part of our meals. even the toilets were lovely which is always a tipping point with my mam so top marks there

   Babucho, Newcastle. This was our first time here, but it won't be our last. What a great restaurant - from the moment we arrived we loved it, from the cocktails to the delicious food, the wine and the fantastic ambience. What a gem, we can't wait to go back!
