Chang'an is one of the best fine dining Chinese restaurant in Vancouver BC. Our unique cuisine integrates traditional Shaanxi tastes and contemporary food plating. We value our guests and we hope every guest to have a chance to taste our Signature Roast Peking Duck. Due to limited availability, all Roast Peking Ducks are for pre-ordered only by calling Restaurant's phone number at 604-681-1313 or 604-306-5528. Maximum 1 duck per group until sold out. Good service and ambience. Food quality degraded from a few years ago. A couple of hot dishes we ordered were cold. You can tell they were pre-made and didn’t even heat up properly before serving. Won’t go back for sure.

The best friends, even for those of us returners from Texas. Quality of food is top notch. But Robbie and friends are what make it special. Will return again!!!

Great service, we were welcomed immediately and seated at our table quickly. Our round table had a lazy Susan spinner so it was wonderful to order family style, and our party of 11 was able to enjoy a multitude of dishes. Not all of their tables have this feature, but I really like that we did. The food quality was top-notch and came quickly, but in stages so that we weren't overwhelmed with all of our food at once. I wish we had pre-ordered the roasted duck. Had I known we would be eating family style I definitely would've done this beforehand. They had texted me asking if we wanted to pre-order the roasted duck but we declined and I regret it. The cocktails and other drinks were good and they checked in with us to make sure we had all we needed. Our table also had a beautiful view of the harbor, directly overlooking the water and a lot of other tables at the restaurant have a similar view. The bill was a little bit on the expensive side, but it was a wonderful meal for the 11 of us so I still say it was worth it. Definitely recommend.

Expensive for want it is. The cuisine is different to most other Chinese cuisine. The food was pretty average.

Very decent food but temp. not hot enough. Service was excellent. Value was extremely low and underwhelming. 3 dishes for $177? Can achieve similar quality/tasting food almost anywhere in Richmond at 1/2 the price. Is this due to Michelin - mentioned momentum? Pls go and decide for yourself.
