Plat du Jour is a restaurant with a prime location in a lovely neighborhood. Everything is very quaint, and the decor creates a very cozy atmosphere. The service was excellent from the moment we arrived until we left. As for the food: the appetizers—specifically the pear salad and french onion soup —were delicious. Their award-winning crab cakes struck me as merely "okay"; having tried them at many different places, I still maintain that the ones at Davio's are the best. The Tuna Tartare was excellent, and the Beef Wellington was exceptional. My gnocchi were just okay. My husband ordered a steak; while it was seasoned to perfection, he couldn't eat it because it was extremely tough and full of fat. The desserts were delicious—as were the drinks.

Everything was exquisite from start to finish. Our server was so courteous, friendly, accommodating and lovely. The atmosphere lovely and the food perfect. A beautiful afternoon shared with family. What a gift to have the Lady Mary Hurd in so close by- a treat for the community.

A wonderful authentic high tea experience! The inn is just beautiful with historic setting! Food was wonderful. I had the Duchess tea service. Everything was scrumptious! The host was awesome. She was sweet, friendly and very knowledgeable. I will definitely be back!

We had the 11am seating at Lexington Vintage Tea and loved every minute. The sunny window seating, beautiful bone china, wallpaper, and décor made it feel warm and inviting. The owner was so kind and helpful, the tea selection was amazing, and every bite was delicious and clearly homemade. I thought it might not be enough food at first, but I could barely finish it. Highly recommend!
