The food was great! Enjoyed shopping in the lovely store. I purchased several books including Paige of Beacon Hill.

We had a reservation. We were seated immediately. The staff was super pleasant and attentive. We had a trainee and another member of the wait staff and she did a great job. Everyone at our table loved their food. We ordered some brunch cocktails and the Buttery Bakery basket to start. Our table had the steak & eggs, western omelette, avocado toast with poached eggs, and the Buttery Pancakes. Everything was delicious. Will definitely be back.

This is an excellent value for the money, especially compared to Boston tea rooms. We came for a birthday celebration, and the guest of honor very much enjoyed it. The decor is cozy, with flowers and tea sets throughout, and they had a nice playlist going, jazzy but not intrusive. There were no other reservations that hour, so we had the place to ourselves. Our tea came in individual pots and cups, all charmingly mismatched. The food came on tiered dishes and everything was very good. We especially liked the chicken salad. This is more of a heavy snack than a full meal. Parking is on the street but it is not a busy stretch even on a Saturday afternoon. Overall impression: we would definitely return for a celebration or special outing.
