Me and my husband went to Yokai Izakaya for the first time for my birthday dinner. The restaurant itself had a great vibe to it upon entry and we were greeted by a friendly hostess almost immediately. We saw fantastic dishes pass us by when we were just about to order our food, which got us quite excited. And rightfully so! This was the first meal we have had at a restaurant in a long time that was a solid 10 out of 10. The food at Yokai Izakaya looked great when it arrived hot at our table and tasted absolutely fantastic. To the chefs, absolutely well done! I cannot stop telling people about your dishes. I think it’s important to share that the service was absolutely fantastic. The staff had a team feel and if your server was assisting another table, another member was helping to clear your table or refill your water. You were always taken care of. In particular, Gabriel was our server. From the moment we sat down, Gabriel was kind, warm, and attentive. He checked in on us at a good pace throughout the evening. He most definitely added a positive touch to our experience. Thank you for bringing out a little treat at the end of the evening to celebrate my birthday! It was hard to not text friends and family after we left the restaurant to share our wonderful experience and the fantastic food. Now they’re excited to visit as well! We will be returning to Yokai Izakaya with our friends in a few weeks and are looking forward to making our next reservation!

Food was fantastic and really knowledgeable staff that made great suggestions and accommodations for an allergy in the party.
