We had the best experience at Bistro Rex. First of all was the waiter amazing and provided the best service we have experienced in Sydney so far (we have lived here for 2 months and been to around 7 different restaurants within the same price range). We were 7 at the table and got different dishes: both beef, vegetables, oysters and shellfish, and all of the dishes were delicious and perfectly cooked. When the waiter was off work, he even came and said goodbye and introduced us to our new waiter during the late hours. We will definitely be back.

The Tuesday night meal deal is good value and service is prompt.

Great food as before, we got the moreton bay bug with somked tomato again, very yummy sauce. The line caught snapper was a highlight, very fresh very delicious. Prawn crumpets also excellent. Will return.

So glad I found Bistro Ebony - It is such a lovely dinner spot and perfect for a date night. Ambience is lovely, service is amazing and so friendly, and the food is incredible. I highly recommend the Crepes Suzette which are made tableside!

It was a nice evening and not too busy either so I’ll would go again and the shuttle bus home was nice too
