This ‘newish’ Ivy is in a great location in relation to where we live and we have visited a number of times. Beautiful decor, excellent food and service, and good value. Highly recommended for breakfast.

My family and I had such a lovely meal at The Ivy Cafe Blackheath. Our waitress Inma was first-class and made sure we had everything we needed. Absolutely delicious food - 5/5. My only constructive feedback would be to include a side dish as part of the kids menu with some of the dishes. My daughter ordered the breaded chicken from the kids menu - which was lovely and big (!) but only came with a single broccoli floret. We had to order fries as a separate side dish. Just think for a kids meal - you could make the chicken smaller and add a complementary side dish to make it a bit more child friendly. Overall though - everything was excellent as usual.

The service was excellent from the very first minute. The girl who looked after us was incredibly friendly and attentive, really understanding the customer and making the whole experience even better. The restaurant itself is lovely. It’s small, but has everything you need to make it feel cosy and welcoming. The food was delicious and arrived very quickly. Also, the fact that everything is gluten-free, and that they clearly have such a strong understanding of allergens, gives you a huge amount of confidence when dining there.
