    We booked a table for a 90th birthday celebration. We had a lovely table at the front of the restaurant. We chose from the Cool Britannia menu which offered us all enough choices and the food was delicious, especially the onion soup and the steak. Service was good although we did have to wait a few minutes to get the server’s attention on one occasion; however it was quite busy for the number of staff on duty. We never felt rushed and overall we had a great time. It was the perfect place for a special occasion. We’ll definitely be back!

    We had Sunday lunch which was good. We asked for plenty of gravy and got it on the plate and separate. Beef and pork were lovely. Setting was lovely. Perfect end to a weekend
