We ate family style, which is what I suggest for two. We started with the Dolly Focaccia which was well flavored and a great entrance into a very flavorful meal. Our next course was the chilled watermelon salad. It was spicy with peppers. It was so good that when the server offered to take the plate because it looked like we were finished, we both said no because there were still a few small pieces of watermelon visible. Our next course was mafaldine pasta with a spicy pork ragu. The long pasta strands soaked up the spice. We loved it. Lastly, we finished the meal with steelhead trout. It was cooked to perfection with the crispy skin. It was delicious with just the right texture. I would recommend this restaurant as I think their dishes are creative, well presented and most importantly delicious. I would also suggest that if you don’t handle spicy food, there are also other menu items for you other than the chilled watermelon and mafaldine, but for those of you that like spice, these are gems.

It has been a while since I have been eyeing this restaurant to try. Upscale Latin Fusion restaurant with a mix of Peruvian, Mexican and other Latin flavors in their dishes. We made reservations since it was a weekend and we wanted a table on the outside patio next to the view of the Columbia river. Service is outstanding from the hostess to the waiter. They were on top of everything. Each dish is beautifully presented and the flavor exquisite. We ordered the Tuna Tostadas and Pork Belly Skewers for appetizers. For entree the Seafood Paella, took me back to Spain flavors. For drinks we had a Guava Lavender Margarita which was very smooth. Paella is big like for 4 people to share. Ambiance is upscale, whimsical and a place to dress up for a celebration. Restaurant is big with tables inside and outside as well as a long fire table for people to share like a bar style.

We always love coming to the Tanasbourne Thirsty! Always a great place to get together with family, have good food and visit. Shout out to Sean, one of the long-time servers there and to Kirsten, the manager. They are always so sweet and very professional. Thank you!! By the way, Kirsten deserves a raise as do all the hard workers. She is always busy doing everything in that restaurant!
