My wife and I have eaten here several times, Last night was a date night and we were excited to visit again before a concert. My wife got the Hotel National cocktail which was a delicious blend of Rum, pineapple, lime and apricot liqueur, It is a special and worth a try while it is on the menu. We started with the Bri and Roasted Garlic appetizer which was delicious we usually do the smoked trout board but decided to go with this starter instead which has such amazing flavors. My wife has to eat Gluten free so she brought her own toasted GF Bread but they can also accommodate with tortilla chips or vegetables if you cant have the grilled baguette that comes with it. We both got the organic Market greens salad the salad was fresh the only issue was it was underdressed for our preference, to the point that we asked for an extra side of the vinaigrette to add to it. For our entrees I got the Sea Scallops con Risotto the Scallops were well cooked but the Risotto wasn't quiet right, it was undercooked and the lemon flavors weren't up to their usual standard My wife got the Beef Tenders over polenta the meat was cooked well to her liking but the sauce was over reduced which made it very salty the Polenta was creamy and delicious. Overall it was a fine meal but a couple of issues kept it from being an amazing dinner which we have come to expect from this great restaurant. The service and atmosphere were both great. We will be back and I encourage you to give them a try if you haven't yet, I would call them the best restaurant in Oregon City!
