A beautiful restaurant and location, excellent service and food. However, as the experience is fine dining and I thoroughly enjoyed the discovery of the Fairmont, I did not enjoy sharing it with crying babies and screaming children. I believe the restaurant of this quality is far better suited to adults only with a separate restaurant for families with young children.

We went as a family on a Tuesday which is steak night (half price steak dishes). The steaks were exceptionally good (all four). It was truly superb value. As you would expect with such a discount it was extremely busy, loud, and the staff were run off their feet (so service was a bit hit and miss). Having said that the serving staff were all charming and were clearly doing their best. So if you want exceptional steaks at a great price, are mentally prepared for a very busy, fairly chaotic (and pretty loud) restaurant, then you definitely won’t be disappointed with Steak Night….
